Inferno of Lust: Conclusion

 

A/N: The night in the club in Harajuku is coming to an end.

 

Hojo scrambled backwards as InuYasha landed in front of him.

 

“Do you get the drift asshole?” said InuYasha bending over him, his fangs flashing as they caught the city lights.

 

“Kagome is mine, completely. This little performance you got is the closest you will ever get to her again.”

 

“Y-you're n-n-not hu…” Hojo stammered through his terror.

 

“I'm a hanyou. Half dog taiyoukai, half human. You better not let any one of Kagomes friends know that, or you will regret it.” He said and raised his hand, flexing his claws menacingly.

 

Hojo gulped and nodded. Then InuYasha leapt away, and he collapsed on his back, overcome with relief that InuYasha hadn't hurt him.

 

Kagome was just coming back to her senses when InuYasha got back to her side.

 

“Where did you go?” she said.

 

“I thought I heard someone in the bushes.” He replied, giving her a hand up.

 

Kagome got her dress back on and tucked his shirt back in his pants before buttoning them. A light breeze blew and she shivered, rubbing her arms. Her jacket and purse were back in the club. InuYasha draped the leather jacket over her shoulders, and looking over the edge of the retaining wall first, went back down the way they came up. When they got to the pavement Kagome leaned into him wearily. The night's activities and excitement had taken its toll on her, and she was exhausted.

 

“Let me get my purse and jacket, and say goodbye to my friends,” she said, “and then please take me home.”

 

Kagome was relieved that her friends asked no questions when they returned to the club. It seemed they were still in awe of InuYasha and that served to quell their curiosity and questions.

 

“They will be posting the scores on the exams tomorrow.” Ayumi said.

 

Kagome put her hand to her head and groaned. With all the craziness that ensued after InuYasha arrived, she was not very confident that she scored that well. Tomorrow she would find out if she would be graduating high school with her friends.

 

They left the club like all the other young couples, walking away hand in hand. But when the crowds had thinned out, InuYasha carried her on his back and headed for the rooftops. Lulled by the rhythm of his leaps and bounds, she was asleep by the time they got back to the shrine. Mrs. Higurashi was waiting for them, and she helped him get her in bed. InuYasha changed into his fire rat kimono, and slipped in beside her. For the first time since he had been there, his youkai mating lust seemed to be satiated. It's either that or the accursed rut has finally run its course, he thought. When Kagome woke in the morning he would ask her if they could return to the feudal era.

 

A/N: Sorry the chapter on the night in the club in Harajuku got cut up into so many smaller chapters. I originally planned to write 1 then 2 chapters. I hope you all will stick around to see if Kagome has passed her exams in the next chapter.
