Lost: A Ronin Warriors - Ranma 1/2 crossover
Chapter 2

Disclaimer: I still don't own Ronin Warriors or Ranma 1/2. They belong to their respective
owners. Jen and Isis are mine. So, hands off!
They walked for what seemed like hours before Jen finally got tired enough to stop.
"Ryoga, let's stop and rest for a few minutes. I'm sure that this guy you're fighting can
wait.", she said as she sat down with her back against the wall of a building, and Ryoga
sat next to her.
"So, how did you become a Ronin Warrior?", he asked in curiosity.
Jen smiled sardonically.
"It feels like it was another lifetime. I've been fighting for so long that I sort of lost track of time."
"Hungry?"
"Huh?", she queried as she looked over at Ryoga. He had rummaged through his pack and gotten out some food, and was holding out a snack to her.
"I asked if you were hungry. Do you recall the last time you ate?"
"Not really."
"Then take it. I have plenty.", he said insistently.
She smiled as she accepted the food.
"Thanks.", she said with a polite nod. As they ate the snacks in silence, she
noticed Ryoga looking up at the clouds nervously.
"What's wrong? You seem a little nervous about the weather.", she said, causing Ryoga
to jump slightly at the sudden sound of her voice.
"Oh nothing. I just get the feeling that it's going to rain. That's all", he said.
~Not here, not now. It can't rain NOW of all times!~, he thought despairingly.
He continued watching the weather which made Jen very curious.
~I've never known someone who acted so nervously when there's a chance of rain. I wonder what's up with that. Oh well...it's probably none of my business, anyway.~
Meanwhile, in the Dynasty, Isis was cackling madly, making the soldiers around her very
nervous. That is, if "canned evil spirits"(a/n: my term for the Dynasty Soldiers)could even
get nervous.
"So, it looks like Wildfire has a new friend...and he's not even from this part of Tokyo.
Well, the more the merrier as the mortals say. I must watch this boy more to see just
how strong he is.", she said, laughing evilly. Black Frost, her snow leopard partner
growled in assent.
Back in the mortal world, Jen stood after she and Ryoga finished their snack.
"So, shall we go now?", she asked.
"Sure, the sooner I get back to Nerima, the sooner I can have my revenge!", Ryoga
exclaimed as he started to stand.
Just then it started to rain...and there was no way Ryoga could get his umbrella open in
time.

A/n: Decided to try ending this on a cliffhanger...the cliffhanger being "After Jen finds out about Ryoga's curse, will she still help him get back to Nerima?"
Until chapter 3...ja ne! Hey, that almost rhymed! ^_^
