Lost: A Ronin Warriors/ Ranma1/2 Crossover

Chapter 4

~......~ still denotes a thought.
****************** denotes the beginning of the story
Disclaimer: I still don't own Ranma1/2 or Ronin Warriors, they still belong to Rumiko
Takahashi and Sunrise, respectively. However, I do own Jen and Isis. Suing me will still
win you some pocket fluff and a string of dental floss. Though, once I've conquered the
world, everything in it will be mine! Bwahahahahahaha! *coughs* Erm...anyway...until
then, I own nothing!

Advanced warning: slight suckiness ahead because I can't write battle scenes to save
my life. -_-

"Ryoga, stay close to me so you won't get lost.", Jen said as the Dynasty Soldiers
closed in on the duo.

"Right. I'll try to.", Ryoga said as he watched the soldiers.

When the soldiers finally attacked, Jen parried their attacks with her swords while Ryoga
did the same with his umbrella.

"Erm, Jen...we're not getting anywhere with these guys. We need to attack as well.",
Ryoga suggested as he swung with the umbrella at the closest Dynasty Soldier. As the
blow connected, the Dynasty Soldier suddenly found itself in "L.E.O"("Low Earth Orbit").
One of the Soldiers tried to swing its yari at Ryoga, but he parried with the umbrella,
then knocked the Soldier's "head" off. His eyes widened in surprise when he saw what
appeared to be black smoke coming from the pile of armor.

"What are these guys, Jen?", he asked, the surprise still in his voice.

"They're basically evil spirits inhabiting armor. I call them 'evil spirits in a can'. When Isis shows up, things will get a bit hairier than they are now because she's a 'Dark Warlady', and she's human. She will show up because she always sends Dynasty Soldiers ahead
of her to engage us in a fight before she makes her appearance.", she replied.

As she spoke, they both heard an evil sounding laugh.

"Speak of the devil...she's here. Ryoga, I'll take her, you keep these tin cans off my
back.", Jen said and Ryoga nodded, as he clutched the handle on his umbrella tighter.

"Sure thing."

Just then, Isis decided to make her appearance, laughing with her usual maniacal
laughter.

"So, Wildfire, I see you've made a new friend. How delightful.", Isis said, sounding
entirely too joyful at the situation.

"Enough talk, Isis. I know you're here to fight, so let's fight already.", growled Jen as she held her swords in a defensive position. Without warning, she ran toward Isis, leaping at the last possible second to avoid the Warlady's retaliatory strike. As she landed, she hit Isis on the head with the hilts of her swords hard enough to make the Warlady's helmet
ring.

Meanwhile, Ryoga was doing a pretty good job of keeping the Dynasty Soldiers at bay
with his umbrella, parrying the strikes while launching strikes of his own. He eventually
got tired of fighting Dynasty Soldier after Dynasty Soldier and leaped backwards. When
he landed, he crossed his wrists over his chest and concentrated, drawing on the power
provided by his built-up anger and depression. Soon, he began to glow red and he held
his hands about a foot apart.

"Shishi Hokodan!", he shouted as he pushed forwards with his hands, releasing a huge,
red, "basic" Shishi Hokodan, taking out several of the soldiers.

Jen, who was fighting Isis looked over her shoulder when she heard Ryoga yelling
something. Her eyes widened when she saw his attack, and Isis also stopped fighting
and watched curiously.

"What the heck was that?", Isis asked in shock.

Jen shrugged.

"I have no idea. I'll have to ask him about it. Now, shall we get back to fighting?",

"Yes. As you said, I came here to fight, so, let's get back to fighting.", Isis said, still a bit in shock, as she ran at Jen, swinging her swords.

Jen, deciding to try ending the battle quickly, jumped over Isis' swords and put her own
swords together, hilt to hilt. She leaped into the air as Wildfire powered up, dramatically
heating the air and with white hot lightning crackling around her, holding the swords over
her head.

"Flare up now!", Jen shouted, her voice echoing as she brought the swords down to
release the energy that had gathered in them, aiming the attack at Isis. The attack
connected solidly with the Dark Warlady, and she decided that retreating was the best
option and disappeared.

As Jen landed, she noticed that Ryoga wasn't anywhere in sight.

"Oh damn.', she muttered to herself. "Don't tell me he wandered off and got lost. That's
it, I'm tying him to me next time!", she said, groaning in frustration.

Meanwhile, Ryoga had no idea where he was. First, he was fighting the Dynasty
Soldiers. Then, the next thing he knew, he had defeated the Soldiers and had no idea
where in Shinjuku he was.

"Umm...Jen? Where are you?", he asked, half to himself, knowing better than to expect
an answer.

"Where on Earth am I now?!?!?!?!", he shouted, as he punched through the nearest
wall, which happened to still be attached to a building. He looked up just in time to see
the building begin to topple over.

"Oops.", he muttered miserably as he continued wandering.

Jen, upon hearing a familiar shout, looked in the correct direction just in time to see the
innocent building meet an untimely end.

"Something tells me that he's over there.", she muttered as she jumped down from the
building she was standing on to get a better view of the city. She landed in a crouch,
then stood and took off running in the direction she saw the building fall in.

"Yep. I'm definitely going to tie him to me with a long piece of string.", she muttered in
frustration as she ran, oblivious to the fact that she was being watched by Isis.

"Soon, I'll have a rematch with you and your new friend, Wildfire.", she said, then
laughed evilly.

To be continued...

A/N: If this wasn't as good as the other chapters it's because I 1)was half asleep when I
wrote it and 2) can't write battle scenes to save my life. I tried to inject a little more
humor into this chapter and thought that it would be funny to have Ryoga perform a
Shishi Hokodan and have Jen and Isis stop fighting long enough to watch.

Until chapter 5...ja ne!
