"It's gorgeous!"you exclaimed, amazed. The sight was absolutely magnificent. It was around 6:30pm, and you were looking at a beautiful sunset. It took a while to get here.

The mixed colors of orange, yellow, red, and gold blended perfect in the sky. The ocean water was blue, blended with a pale green and a bit of purple and pink. Cloud strolled by infront of the sun. The clouds became a mix of brown and gold. A couple of birds flew by.

"This is SeaSide Hill,"said Espio.

"I think it's beautiful,"you said back.

"I usually come here just to meditate or train,"explained Espio. You nodded your head. "Come on, we should get back to the others,"said Espio.

"Oh yeah, I forgot about them,"you said. You made a small laugh. "You know, I haven't been this happy since...I don't remember when,"you said. Espio smiled.

It was about 7:30 when both of you arrived. Espio shut the door behind him, as Vecter and Charmy walked over.

"So, what were you two doing out for so long?"asked Vecter, having a "the grin". You knew what Vecter of thinking. You decided to ruin his thoughts.

"Sorry, Vecter, but all we did was explore the city,"you answered. Vecter got a suspicious look. He then chuckled and spoke again.

"Okay, whatever you say!"he teased. Charmy flew into the room, having a smile on his little face.

"Hey! What's going on here? A party?"he asked.

"Don't worry, Charmy. I just think that these two were doing something,"explained Vecter.

"Of course they were doing something! They were exploring the city!"said Charmy. *Vecter:anime sweat drop*

"NEVER MIND!"said Vecter, holding his forehead. "Charmy, you're too young to be knowing what I'm talking about." You couldn't help but laugh a little.

"Espio, are they always like this?"you whispered.

"Unfortunately, yes,"he answered. "Come on." While Vecter and Charmy were having an argument, Espio and you managed to give them a slip.

You and Espio went upstairs into your room. Surprisingly, Topaz was still asleep. You didn't want to disturb her, so you just left her on your pillow.

"Hey, Espio, can you teach me ninja training?"you asked. You wanted to learn all the different abilities. By looking at Espio, you could tell that he was a little bit surprised that you asked that question. He probably never teached ninjutsu before. "It's okay if you don't want to."

"It's okay, I'll teach you,"Espio replied. You smiled. "Tomorrow. I think it's getting too late for anything." You nodded your head. About a second later, you had a question.

"How can you have an endless supply of shuriken?"you asked. Espio thought for a minute. He seemed kind of puzzled. How can he answer this one?

"Well...uh...here,"he said, appearing a shuriken in his hand. He handed it to you and spoke again. "Now, concentrate and close your hand." You looked at him as if he were crazy. You'll cut yourself! He looked as if he read your mind and make a little laugh. "Just trust me." You hesitated for a moment, wondering if you should do it.

You decided just to believe him. You doubt that he would lie to you. You closed your hand and didn't feel any pain. You were amazed. He then told you to open your hand. It was gone!

"Good, now close your hand, concentrate, and quickly open your hand,"Espio instructed. You nodded your head. Closing your hand, you started to concentrate. Quickly, you opened your hand, and it appeared. You were too amazed to speak.

"How can I do this is Vecter and Charmy can not?"you asked, making it appear and disappear.

"Do you really think they can concentrate on something like this?"he asked you. You thought for a minute. Espio was probably right. Vecter and Charmy goof around a lot.

"I guess not,"you answered, with a smile. You couldn't help but to snicker a little. You imagined Vecter and Charmy getting hurt, crying, while sitting on the floor. "But, how can I have an unlimited amount of shuriken?"

"Throw your shuriken to me,"Espio said. You threw it towards him and he caught it. "Now, do it again." Confused, you hesitated, not fully understanding what he meant. You looked at him, and sighed.

"Okay, here goes nothing,"you thought to yourself. You concentrated for a moment and pretended to throw a shuriken. You were amazed at what happened. One flew out of your hand! Your eyes not only went big for a little bit, but lit up.

"B...but how?"you asked. This was very confusing, almost like magic. And it was like Espio being the magician and you his assistant.

"It's all part of being a ninja..."Espio trailed off. "It's late, I think you should sleep now,"he informed. You shook your head yes, feeling your eyes starting to close on you. You went over to your pillow and scooted Topaz over. At first you thought that you woke her up, but she just yawned and turned to the other side. "Goodnight, Topaz,"you whispered to her. No later then a minute did you fall asleep...

"So, Espio, how's Metallic doing?"asked Vecter. Espio turned to him and answered.

"So far, she's doing good. She-"Espio got interupted by the door. Someone was pounding on it. Suddenly, two men in black suits came in. Each had a suitcase that was like a silver color. However, they did not appear to have any weapons. Both wore very dark sunglasses. It was a wonder that they could even see!

"You are the Chaotix Detective Agency, correct?"asked the guy on the left. Vecter shook his head. "Good, we are prepared to give you $2,000(rings) for a case." Vecter and Charmy's eyes went into "$". Espio payed attention and listened carefully. He never liked these kind of guys before.

"WELL! What can we do for you?"Vecter asked with a huge grin on his face. He really wanted that money.

"Our best government agent never reported back from Sandopolis. We believe she's trapped somewhere. We lost her signal shortly after,"explained the man on the right.

"Don't worry, boys! We'll handle it! Who's the spy?"asked Vecter.

"Rouge, Rouge the Bat,"answered the guy on the left. All of them rolled their eyes.

"Oh, great, her again..."said Charmy. Both guys left, and Vecter crashed right into his chair.

"Out of all the people, WHY HER?"questioned Vecter. They didn't forget what happened on their last adventure. Rouge, along with Shadow and Omega, attacked them. Why? It was all Rouge's fault! "Oh well, boys. At least we get a lot of money!"

"Yeah. Listen, I'm going to turn in. You guys should have rest too. Sandopolis is a long ways from here. You'll need energy,"said Espio, starting to walk towards his room.

"Espio, what about Metallic?"asked Charmy. Espio stopped. He'd forgot about you. "Will she stay here?"

"Hm, we'll just have to take her along with us. She might come in handy as bait!"Vecter joked. Espio got steamed. As Vecter was laughing, a shuriken langed only an inch away from his head. Vecter:*Anime sweat drops* Vecter knew he had pushed it too far. Vecter made a gulp, as he stared into Espio's eyes. "I think I'll go to bed...Goodnight!"Vecter said, quickly going up stairs.

"So, Espio, what are we going to do with Metallic? We all have to be on this mission,"questioned Charmy. Espio thought for a minute. "Do we leave her here?"

"No, she's coming with us,"answered Espio. Charmy seemed to have had another question.

"What about her foot?"he asked.

"Don't worry about it. I think it's alright now. She just bruised it a little,"Espio replied. Charmy smiled.

"Yay! Metallic's coming with us!"Charmy sang. Soon, both went to sleep for the big mission they had tomorrow...

...It was the crack of dawn, as you were sleeping soundly. Doing so, footsteps were heard in your room. You opened your eyes once, then closed them. Once you heard another footstep, you sat up and looked around. It was hard to see because it was still dark.

You heard the footsteps again, and this time you looked to see where they were coming from. Suddenly, you felt a grasp on your shoulder. You jumped up, waking up Topaz, which caused her to fly into you, and fell on your bed. The light turned on and you saw that it was Espio. You looked over across the room to see Vecter and Charmy standing at the door.

"Hey, what's going on?"you asked, holding Topaz in your arms. Espio began to speak.

"Get ready. You're coming with us on a case,"answered Espio. You heart ran. You were excited. A case? You quickly got out of your bed.

"Where are we going?"you asked. You wanted to make sure it wasn't Mystic Ruins. If it was, you would say no.

"Sandopolis. One of the government spys went missing,"replied Vecter. Your eyes lit up. Sandopolis was one of your favorite places to explore. You practically know it from the back of your hand! You know where to go, where all the traps were at, and where there's deadends.

You agreed to go and shood them out so you could get ready. Since you were going to be in a hot desert, you just put on a shirt and no pants.(Girls don't have to where pants. Just look at Blaze the Cat)You put your belt on, along with your boots. Next, you put your hair in a high ponytail.

After all that was completed, you held Topaz in your arms and went out the door. As you were about to walk downstairs, you noticed that there was barely even light outside. You didn't notice before because curtains were covering your window.

"This better not be a joke,"you said to yourself. You didn't want to get up somewhere around 4:00-5:00am for nothing. You made it downstairs and the Chaotix were waiting for you.

"Are you ready?"Vecter asked. You nodded your head yes. All of you set out for Sandopolis.

"How are we going to get to Sandopolis?"you asked. Sandopolis was a long ways from Grand Metropolis.

"Easy!"said Charmy. Charmy, along with Vecter, went to the side of the house. They later came back out with two of those fast cars, which you tried to ride. "Vecter and I got on this one, and you and Espio can go on that one!" Vecter got on one, fallowed by Charmy. Next, Espio got on the other, then you. Now all of you were off to Sandopolis.

It was near sunrise as all of you made it to Sandopolis. Eventhough it was sunrise, it was hot. Vecter and Espio landed their vehicles. Charmy and you hopped off, as did Espio and Vecter.

"Geez! It must be a million degrees up here!"complained Charmy. He was fanning his head with his hand.

"Actually, Sandopolis only reaches to 110 degrees. Right now, I would say that it's only near 80,"you said. They all stared at you as if they saw a ghost. "What?"

"And how would you know?"asked Vecter. Espio and Charmy were wondering the same thing.

"I used to come here to explore and stuff. I know this place very well,"you answered.

"Ha ha! Then this case will be a snap! You can tell us where to go!"said Vecter, giving you a hard pat on the back. You almost fell over.

"Vecter, that would be great if I knew what I was looking for,"you said.

"Oh yeah! We're looking for a governemt spy named Rouge. She got lost and the government lost her communication,"answered Charmy. You thought for a minute.

"The only way for someone to lose signal is if they went underground,"you said, thinking of all the places that led underground.
