I'm still alive. I'm still alive! Ow! It's burning me! I looked at
my shoulder. It's still there. Thirteen.
“I can take that away.”
“Katie?”
“Yes.”
“What did you do to me? Why am I here? And… where are we?”
“My sanctuary.”

“I don't want to lose you. You are my treasure.”

I couldn't see her something held my wrist. She won't let go. I
tried to pull away.

I gave up struggling. My wrists just hung there.

choke.
“I can keep you safe. Stay with me.”

I came to back in my bed. Omi, Ayame, and Peter stood over me.
