Almost Perfect(chapter 2)

"Wh...What?!" Yusuke stammered once again.

"You heard me very well. I think I challenged you to a fight," I replied with a smirk.

"Bu...but...I could never do that to you."

"Why?"

"Because I could really hurt you. When mom comes back down she would kill me."

"Yusuke Urameshi...that is the first time I have ever heard you turn down a fight."

"Yeah, so what," he replied returning to his normal attitude.

"I didn 't know the great Urameshi was a chicken." I retorted.

"Kali...don 't you start with me. I have already had a horrible day. I don 't need you to piss me off more."

"No, I am not starting with you. I am just shocked that you are acting like this big brother. I mean, I seriously didn 't know that you could act like a normal brother for once."

"Damnit Kali, I mean it."

"Mean what? I really don 't know why you are so scared of losing a fight to a girl."

His fist clenched as he got a look of violence in his eyes. "That 's it! Outside, right now!"

The smirk on my face grew as I reached the door.

Yusuke turned with a half worried, half angry look on his face. "Just say I didn 't warn you. Kali, please we don 't have to do this, I don 't want to hurt you. Don 't push me, you know how I get when I am pissed."

"Yusuke I appreciate your concern and all, but I want to do this. Now are you going to fight, or back down?"

"Just say I didn 't warn you..." he replied.

He seemed to really not want to do it, and I really appreciated it, I really did. I just wanted him to see that he wouldn 't always win. I guess I felt bad for the Kuwabara guy, although I hadn 't met him before. It 's pretty funny, you know. I mean, it shows how different Yusuke and I are. I don 't even know who he hangs around...err... rather beats around. We are closer than you think, though.

I stepped outside into the semi cool night. Yusuke still had on his off color uniform, which he always seemed to wear. I had stripped mine off as soon as I got home, and was in a tee shirt with track pants.

"So...Yusuke, I said staring at him. "Are you going to just stand there, or are we going to fight?"

"I can 't do this..." he replied.

"Aww...is the little boy afraid?"

"No, I don 't want to hurt my little sister."

"Aww...he thinks he is going to win. That 's so cute."

"Kali...stop it, he said starting to get mad."

"Oh, he thinks I am going to be afraid of him. Yeah, when pigs fly. Boy Yusuke, I thought you would be tougher than that."

His face turned red as he ran straight for me. "This is what I wanted to see," I thought.

"Kali, I 'm sorry, but you asked for it!" He made a fist and was ready to knock me out in one punch. Me, knowing his fighting style, quickly dodged it(by using a back handspring). I landed and launched a counter attack. I sent a kick straight for his stomach. He fell to his knees and recovered. I wasn 't ready for the punch he sent, but I was moving quick enough not to receive full damage. I blocked his next set and sent my own punch towards him. He ducked and was about to kick me. I did a series of flips to dodge everything and went to punch him again.

"Not to bad.. he said smiling, "but this is going to seal it for me."

He caught my wrist and threw it down. While he did that, he caught his foot behind mine, and I fell to the ground. He punched me while I was still down. I rolled to miss his next one and got up.

"Great, things aren 't looking up. He was right about being tough. But, I am not giving up this easily. "

We exchanged some more hits, and neither of us wanted to give in. We were both somewhat out of breath. That 's when I saw my chance. While Yusuke was blocking one hit, he left himself somewhat vulnerable for a little bit. "I can probably move fast enough to get another hit in," I thought.

I sent a knee to his stomach again. While he was busy blocking that, I punched. It initially hit him in the face, but the impact made him fall backwards. When he landed I stood over him, ready for another punch.

"Woah, you win, ok?"

"Why are you giving up so easily?" I asked exhausted.

"Because both of us are beat. You probably would have hit me while I was down anyway. I don 't want to be out for a week."

"So that means..."

"That mean what?" He asked raising an eyebrow.

"That means you are finishing out this week of school."

"What?!"

"Hey, who ever said there weren 't going to be any bets?"

"Fine, I 'll go, but this week only."

"Yusuke..."

"And maybe some other days to..." he finished.

"Ok, that 's better," I replied.

"You know what?" He asked while we were walking into the house.

"Hmm..."

"You were pretty tough out there... "

"Oh really, you think so?"

"Yeah...I think so," he said smiling.

And, so ended the night in the Urameshi household.
