No, flashback as in it could have, and possibly/probably did in the current timeline of "Only In Your Eyes Am I Worthy". I had considered adding that scene into an Interlude starring either Shinji or more likely Rei... but it never really worked out so I made the small "side story" instead.

hm..... you mean flashback as in.... one of the times Rei made the world over again? and wow, short, but unbelievely deep.... i guess the philosopher in me had to say that....
