Oh my god. I've read this twice, and it still breaks my heart. This is the first LeeGaa fic I've read where Lee is depressed and Gaara has a girlfriend. I found it very original. I wasn't sure if Lee would really run away from his problems so much, but you made it believable, especially if his sensei is gone and his friends have their own lives. Even though I'm glad this is a happy ending for him and Gaara, I still feel horrible for Matsuri - the shinobi she helped save ended up stealing away her fiance, haha, oh, that's awful. Anyway, I loved this story (and the other LeeGaa fics you've written), it was wonderful ^^ |

I've never been a big Gaara/Lee fan, but this fic might have converted me. It takes aspects of the characters that aren't usually played up in the fandom and uses them as valid reasons for the development of a relationship. Well done!

How does this only have two reviews? Very well done, I love how you build their relationship instead of jumping straight into it. And you Lee makes me very happy. Also I'm pretty sure you hit Gaara's characterization head on!

I haven't read a Lee/Gaara get together story quite ike this one before. Rarely do we see Lee depressed, and while I don't think his friends would be quite that forgetful of him, the very tight POV makes it beleivable because *Lee* believes it. the ending seemed a tad abrpt to me - but taht may well ahve been becasue i was so sorry to see the story end. Over all, a HIGHLY enjoyable story with good characterization!
