Finally had a chance to read this! I've known this update was here for the last couple days but couldn't get to it, and that'd been driving me nuts! Loved the update, by the way. Noticed what I think must be a weird MM glitch because there are some missing words in random places; I think whatever you make italic is disappearing on you, but I'm sure it's 100% MM's fault, because of whatever format you're using and their screwy system. So, no worries! This chapter still rocked! How, oh how, is Kagome going to get out of this? I guess, if she can manage to keep her wits about her long enough to consciously pretend she doesn't, then she can let Naraku think he's turned her into a puppet while she's secretly still against him and is just biding her time for the right moment to strike. Didn't work with Kohaku, but he also didn't have Kagome's incredibly awesome miko powers. I would've thought she could zap him, or those purple spiders on her temples, but we also all know that her true power is bottled up. If she can manage to uncork herself and release her full strength she could free herself, for sure. In the meantime, hopefully Inuyasha can live long enough for them to save him later, and hopefully none of the other key players die during the upcoming battle. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what happens next! | Title: Review

OMG WOW! Your amazing...your writing is amazing and I'm completely hooked to this story. Yay! A new update! Yay! A new cliff hanger! LOL. Now...is Kohaku actually brainwashed or still just playing alone, and maybe he knew that secretly, he was being watched so he had to do it the way he did? Hmmm...guess I'll find out. And while a part of me wishes the Inu/Kag 'reunion' would have happened a wee bit differently, I can't say either of them were OOC at all, 'cause they definitely weren't. All things considered, it made perfect sense that Kagome acted that way, though we've all said things we didn't mean in the heat of the moment so I'm sure later on, when you and your magical author abilities make it the perfect time, she will in fact be glad to see Inuyasha again. Or panicked, if he winds up right smack in the middle of Hell breaking loose and she has to go rescue his ass, LOL. I wonder if that might've been his rock bottom, though? That howl... Would he have wanted to get more booze again after that, to turn off his brain and make those bad feelings go away, or would the fresh knowledge in his mind that Kagome is angry with him over the drinking somehow miraculously make him decide against it? And did Sesshoumaru really go back to HQ? Surely, he couldn't have been too close to Kagome's meeting with Kohaku, 'cause the boy would've sensed it, so most likely no witnesses there, but I wonder if the great and mighty daiyoukai would bother to go back to his brother? He seems to care, in a non-direct kind of way, forcing Inuyasha's friends to help instead of doing anything himself. But it was because he thought he would be an unwelcome sight, wasn't it? So maybe he won't actually approach Inuyasha, but he's just keeping an eye on him from the distance to make sure none of Naraku's rouge youkai get a hold of him while he's out on the street. Not like the hanyou would sense that he was there. It's going to take a real long time for Inuyasha to get better from this, assuming he can get better, and he's definitely not getting better in time for the war if Naraku is attacking in only a few days, so I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what you have planned for all this. OMG Can I just start of by telling you what an amazing writer you are! I literally discovered this story three says agp and have read every part of this story in three days, taking every spare moment I had and reading a chapter, I'm only sad now that I've read up to the latest chapter and have to wait for an update :( Honestly your development of the characters specifically Kagome is really good, she's finally coming into her own, I can only wait anxiously to see what happens to Inuyasha. So glad you updated again so quickly! And the long chapter was a good thing, definitely. It needed to be that long. Damn...wasn't sure what direction you were going to go in where Inuyasha was concerned, but I found this very realistic. I don't think he would've actually died, if for no other reason than Sesshoumaru was keeping just enough of a watch on him to sense how close he was to actually losing his life. He was pretty damn close, though, hence why the full demon told Sango and Miroku to get their butts over there. I don't think he's actually gone insane, though. I mean he has, but it's because he's been drunk for like two or three weeks straight or however long it's been. Once they finally, finally get him sober I'm sure he'll remember how he and Kagome went their separate ways. It'll be interesting to see Kagome's reaction when they tell her about Inuyasha and how he needs her, now. Hope they don't tell her while she's training with Sesshoumaru, she might accidentally blow the demon up, LOL. Yay! So glad you updated! *happy dance* And I was glad to see that Kohaku wasn't a brainwashed puppet, although I guess now he might be, *shrugs*, but I'm sure it'll all work out in the end. Hope they know what they're doing, giving Naraku power like that. LOL, the jewel shard was in the filing cabinet?! That's just awesome. Definitely looking forward to Inuyasha's appearance. I always look forward to your story! What can I say it is so very good! The REALLY good ones like this story is rarly ever finished. But when you DO finish it I will re-read the whole thing because I really love stories like this one. By the way happy new year! and I hope to see more chapters from you but of course take your time. Yay! I'm so glad you didn't abandon this story! Whatever's going on with Inuyasha, he'd better get his ass there, and in some kind of immediate trouble, LOL, 'cause protecting/defending him seems to be the only way to make Kagome give it her all. That was awesome, the way Sesshoumaru lost his control over his emotions for a minute there, and goaded her into blasting apart the courtyard like that. I'm wondering what's going on with Naraku sending in Kohaku, though, because if Kanna was spying and Naraku as a result knows the Order's plans to take over HQ, then one would assume he also heard the part about how he must get the jewel shard. LOL, I can just imagine Kohaku showing up, hoping to sneak his hands onto the shards, getting caught, and then they're like oh no here, you can have them, LOL. But my previous question still remains, is Kohaku faking or did he turn? Guess he can't be totally heartless against his sister now and possess the ability to fight and kill even her to do his job, 'cause then Naraku's threat wouldn't make any sense, so unlike in the canon where Kohaku was brainwashed and actually controlled, in this universe Naraku knows Kohaku is just a human and that humans can have twisted loyalties, mostly revolving around self-preservation. He believes Kohaku was sent there to spy on him but probably called that out and offered him a chance to live once the city went to hell if he joined his side, just like how he'd turned Kikyou to the dark side before, making him a double-agent. Let the Order think they successfully got Kohaku in as a spy, when in reality he's been sweet talked into joining forces with the enemy...or has he? Damn you're good! Guess we'll just have to wait and see, about that, and about where you've had Inuyasha hiding all this time. Super looking forward to the next chapter! | Title: UPDATE
