Ranma and Tench crossover thats a killer Idea Wow I always wanted to see that Ranma and Tenchi Why not make them duell each other I wonder who will win ! This is a superb Fanfic I wish you review my Im a beginner here So I could use some advice this goes to all reading this !

I like the story. Minor conflicting issues aside, this has been a really fun story to read. Just enough of Ranma is left to make him recognizable, and the story of how he changed and why makes sense. This last chapter was pretty intense too. Nabiki - is she feeling guilt, or worried about things going south and catching up to her? Kasumi - how's she going to handle rehab and the marriage issues? Counseling? Ryoga - what's he going to do when he learns he's been teaching ruffians? Ukyo - What's she going to do now that they've had sex? Just be friends? Friends with benefits? Try to be more? How's Kiyone going to react to everything going on in Ranma's life? What's going to happen at school? What's Cologne up to? Is Ranma going to end up with Kiyone? Ukyo? Shampoo? All three? Maybe Kasumi too? Where's Akari fit in to all this?

I guess I shouldn't have expected a Ranma fan to portray Ranma as anything less than invincible. He's lost fights in the manga. Akane regularly sent him through the roof with one punch. Ryouga also beat Ranma quite a few times. The story in which Ranma pretended to be Ryouga's little sister was an especially funny example of that. In the Universe story, Tenchi single-handedly defeated a squad of trained Juraian soldiers. Then he defeated Kagato in single combat after he had beaten Ryoko and Tenchi's grandfather. In the OVA Tenchi cut a space ship in half with a sword he made from pure energy. Then he saved himself, Aeka and Mihoshi from a black hole. He was only 16 then. Within a few months of that he was able to fight Z in outer space and survive without his light hawk wings or any other protection. He then survived an attack that could have destroyed the Earth. He's also been trained to fight all his life both with weapons and unarmed by a man with over 700 years of fighting experience. He can effectively hold the energy of a super nova in his hands and shape it into whatever he wants. Why do you think people want to read stories in which Ranma gets Tenchi's power? Also you spent a great deal of time describing how great Ranma looks but almost none describing Tenchi and his family. If you can't deal better than this with Tenchi's abilities then this isn't a story for me.

It can be difficult to do a balanced crossover between Ranma 1/2 and Tenchi Muyo. Most of the stories I've read change Ranma so much that his name might as well be changed to Tenchi Masaki.

The first I noticed was that it didn't start out with Ranma being Katsuhito grandson((wouldn't it be cool Gema instead Nodoka was his child...))Be most crossovers are like that. And for that reson alone it sticks out like a neon sight at night. |
