I am SOOOOOOOOO happy! you used the REAL story for the little mermaid and not the stupid disney fluffy happy fest. grrrrrrrr. well, anyway, thought i'd let you know that i like this story very much. the point of view changing all the time is confusing though, i suggest third person instead of first, but this is your fic. soooooo... please update soon!

Okay... now that i've read the rest of your fic.... Chapter 3 is entirely too confusion - cut down on the perspective changes. It's never really quite clear who's talking/thinking. this = unnecessarily complicated. As for the rest, it's not bad, keep going. obviously, Kagome is extremely ooc, but she's always been kind of a pushover in the show, so that's okay. and ... it seems kinda early for them to acknowledge thier position in chapter 4 as awkward - right now they hate each other, and usually people who hate each other don't leap to thoughts of sex right away. - battlewhore "i prefer the term 'morally challenged.'"

Um..... so the prologue was kinda ... disjointed and overly-confusing. I can't always tell who the pronouns are referring too - did you say that her BROTHER was the one to destroy her most precious material possession? 'Cause if he's a prick like that, that doesn't go along with her treasuring his gift ... Oh, and unless Kagome's really really stupid, she should have known that the 'not breathing' one wouldn't work - she'd have passed out from lack of oxygen, and then started breathing again. ^_^ - battlewhore "i prefer the term 'morally challenged.'"
