This is the kind of fic I love to stumble across, one that feels true to the series that inspired it. You seem to be an author that actually cares about this story, and that comes across in the writing style. I'm quite intrigued with the explanations for the origin of Hiten Mitsurugi and why using it seemed to ravage Kenshin in later years, and I certainly want to see how the rest of the story proceeds. Keep up the great work.

I wholeheartedly agree that Seishounen was a sad ending to a great series, which is why I hold the manga ending to be the only one (otherwise, it's just TOO sad.) In reading your fic, you have made me feel that the first step in turning Seishouhen into a rebirth has been taken, and I applaud you for it. I look forward to reading how this story unfolds, and please continue to weave in the historical facts as you did in this chapter. There's a great flow to your writing and the characters seem true to their nature.
