deb, this is probably one of the most fabulous, pre-destruction of Vejiitasei fics I've ever read. If not THE best. I absolutely loved it. I'm not sure why but I was reading something in the board where you mentioned that not a lot of people had read this fic, but they should. Your style is eloquent and your flare for dialogue is superb! Anyone who uses the word "histrionics" is, in my book, a fantastic writer. Have you ever considered writing original fiction? ^_^ Anyway, super, super story. I just loved it. I love any and all stories about the Saiya-jin before their annihilation. Thank you for writing this. ^^

I really enjoyed the premise of this fic. I don't read very many Bardock stories so its always a new experience for me. I loved the fact that I could practically taste T's hatred of B. His deep animosity, frustration and finally vindictiveness as he hit on the perfect revenge, fully explaining B's revelation of the death of his people. I love fics that have meaning and yours had it in spades. Tempest

First let me rave about the fic in the genral sense. I love the style that you write with! The POV of the Kannasans(sp ,lol). There has never been enough info about Bardock for my liking. The story flow so nicely and for a long time I thought about sending the link to my DBZ RP group to read but..... well they would pick it apart as I am drawn to do. **looks pledingly** please do not get upset, I am just a DBZ nut. While I can not say for sure.... I refuse to think Bardock was a slut, LMAO. Though I sure wish I could be one of those tavern wenchs **Fans self** One major point I need to make though. The rebelion against Freza..... well the King may have planed his part but there was no plan among the lower class and Bardock was the ONLY saiyan in the air outside the ship. All the rest of the solders there where part of Freza's army and where tring to stop Bardock from reaching the slimy ice-jen. SORRY had to point that out. The guy that plays Bardock in the RPI play in would have a fit over this oversight. But in the end it is your fic and damn it you can write waht you want right!? So don't mind me please. Now THIS is my kinda fic!! :D Bardock and Radditz!! *Heart eyes* Near-naked Radditz, and... *Twitch* Wet... Nekkid... Bardock... Bardock wet. Bardock naked. Bardock in the bath, doing unmentionable things to himself... Ohhhhhhhhh. I'm sorry if other things happened in this, I have no recollection of them... Bardock... wet... naked... Oh yes!! That fishfaced SWINE made plans to HIT my poor sweet, mistreated Honey Lamb... *Growls* Honestly, just because he knows that Bardock and his compadres will destroy his planet... *Rolls eyes* Has the fish never heard the expression, "Boys will be boys"? (Or girl, in Celipa's case) Petty little revenge monger... Lovely, lovely conclusion to a lovely, original story - just what I needed to perk me up. Thanks for sharing!! :D

mighty tasty seafood. served up with a nice side of steaming, wet bardock, and a garnish of radditz. hold the veggies and bring me a loaf of french bread to sop up the bath water. (thanks to bardockgurl for getting you to include that scene.) seriously, i love this story. it's your best so far.

WOW! I put off the review until both chapters were up. I hope you don't mind. That was great. Its a shame ol' fishface did not get to see much further though. Or not. We wouldn't have had such a great story to write about. I like hoe Frieza found out about the Kanassans. Thank You for writing. -El-

Curses to phantomscribe for getting in here before I did!! :(( That'll teach me to leave the house... Wonderful imagery, lovely phrasing, and best of all... My Honey Lamb!! *Big heart eyes* I'm very partial to fics that stray from the well worn paths that most of them seem to take, and I'm fond of first person perspective stories, so this was a really nice treat for me... I've never seen a story from Fishface's perspective, so kudos for originality too... :D Looking forward to ch 2 - and yes, you're right - Bardock does belong to me... :D

Woo Hoo! I get to be the first one to review this! Your writing flows perfectly. This is a very original idea (I really don't think I've seen another fic like this one) and you have made all of the characters very interesting. This is a great start, and I can't wait for the next installment!
