I saw the actual play, and it was beautiful! I haven't seen the movie though, so I don't know how close each is. Off hand I don't remember any roof scene, but it's been several years so my memory of the operata could very well be off. This was very mushy for this pair, but considering what they were watching, I can't blame them! It was so sweet... I had to resist the urge to say "awwww" out loud... thanks for this little bit of sappy fluff!
