"He suppressed a snicker. Well, then... he thought, enjoying the sudden feeling of regaining the upper hand. She was still staring. Sesshoumaru flexed. Kagome emitted the tiniest of squeaks and whirled away again. Really, she was so amusing to tease, and he had probably thoroughly silenced her." That part ALWAYS makes me giggle ^_^

I'm very impressed with this story. I'm so glad I was talked into reading it. Like so many others, I didn't think these two belonged together, but you explained it all and so very, very well. I loved it all and I am a bit sorry to see that you are done. But you did a wonderful job and I'm glad that you shared it.

I doubt I could say anything that hasn't already been said. What a wonderful ride! I especially like the reference to the Japanese voice actor you made--very clever! It brought a much-needed smile to my face after reading the previous two chapters. Just out of curiosity, was the wife you alluded to Kikyou's reincarnation as well, or was this incarnation just passing time for the next one? Ah well, some questions just aren't meant to be answered, are they? Excellent story...do you have another epic planned anytime soon, or is it time for a well-deserved break? Until next time...

that fic was wonderful all around. i was so entranced with it that i could have sworn i was walking Kagome and Sesshomaru's path not with them, but as them. please continue with these excellent fics.

I don't know how many times you've heard this, but I have to say it anyway just so you know how much you story means to me. I'm a huge *almost compleatly* Inu/Kag kinda girl, and before I read this I turned up my nose at almost all Sess/Kag fic's with out even giving the proluge a chance. You have opened my mind a little when it comes to this area of our fandom and I thank you. The story was captivating from the very first paragraph to the last. It will be one that I will read when everything else sucks and I have to re-read to wast time. Thank you Thank you. My family thinks I'm insane because I'm up laughing and crying in the middle of the night reading this.

This is a great book. I loved it. I know it's all sad and melancholy, and it's done beautifully, but it's also the funniest thing I've ever read in my life. I got the giggles when I read about Kagome thinking Sesshounmaru was going to get her pregnant in the woods. That was Chapter 11. I laughed my way through most of the rest of the book. You write so astutely for both characters. I particularly enjoyed Sesshoumaru and his consternation at finding himself at a loss when it comes to dealing with Kagome. I also enjoyed Kagome very much. She has always been a bit too shrill for me, but you portray her as a believable multi-faceted personality who is aware of her shortcomings. I thought she was endearing and brave. Thanks for sharing.

OMG that was so good I love the part "looking far more threatening that anyone draped with a Hello Kitty sheet had any right to be" It just tmade em start to LMAO...well not that much but still. I also like who it was ended but I thought it was sad then kagome died on him. oh and if I was sesshomaru and on a plan that I knew was going to crash i would yell "WE are all going to DIE!!!!" very very loud because im a bitch like that XD.

The was such a wonderful story I hate to see that its over, but it was a great story. I cried so much at the end and it ususlly takes alot to get me crying. I enjoyed reading this story so much and I looking forward to your next one. (which I hope you will write another)Like I said, I enjoyed reading this from the very beging. You have such great detailing in your story that you can see everything you spoke of. Thank you for taking your time to write this. I cried, I laughed and then cries some more. Well I don't think I've ever cried so much from erading anything before. That was so sad but happy at the same time. The ending was perfaect just how I imagined it would be. The whole fic was so beutifully written and original. I hope that you write more fics in the future.

Congratulations on sticking with this all the way. I felt disappointed that Inuyasha was reincarnated and Kagome missed him but that's nothing to do with you. You have proved that given the right circumstances and time to develop their relationship that Sesshy and Kagome can work. The story has a good mix of elements and, despite how long it took to tell it, it holds together well. I'm looking forward to see how you follow this up.

You know, at first I wasn't fond of SessKag... then I found HotM, and I fell in love with it. First and foremost, I would like to thank you for taking the time and effort to write such an amazing tale of grief, loss, and love. You've done an amazing job with this story. Quite honestly, it's the best thing I've ever read. I laughed, I cried, and I spent countless hours at my computer, but I loved every second of it. I must admit, I'm sad to see it end. However, this just has one of those epic storylines that just can't have a sequel. Kudos, Res, kudos.
