Definitely one of the best stories I've ever read! I recently heard about this fic from someone (I don't remember who) and I said to myself that I have to read it. It took me a week, but I did it and now I absolutely must review. I'm not a huge fan of Sess/Kag stories, but hands down, this one tops them all. THey seem so natural yet so unnatural together. And I especially loved how Sesshoumaru stayed in character. In most of the Sess/Kag stories I've read, Sesshoumaru's character changes and it's almost as if the previous character (the one that Rumiko Takahashi created) disappears; however, in your story, his essence remains the same, but you gave him such subtle developments that we can see that Kagome is changing him little by little. Mad props to you!! The plot twist in Chapter 34 was totally unexpected. Kagome as the Madoushi...wow...did not see that one coming...yet it makes total sense that you would do that. I soo can't wait to find out what happens in the chapters to come. Your writing style flows like buttermilk and I find myself completely captivated by your words, amazing! I especially love your sense of time. Narrative pace in this story was impeccable as well as the time loopholes within the text. The fact that Kagome was able to go back into the past, but only in a specific time period and only to complete a specific task, as well as when she does go back to the past...the time intervals seem to shorten. I must say that you have definitely raised the bar for fanfiction!

I would never have imagined I would like Sess/Kag together, but the way you put them together just made it fit. This is the type of story where you have to force yourself to stop reading so you can go to bed and work/or school in the morning! Greatly looking forward to last chapters.

I really hope that is not the end of the story and that you truely make this story a fairytale. I must admit I had gotten so emotionally attachted that I happened to cry! Any way, your story is amazing and I completely admire your writing ablities...hopefully you will update soon!

I also love how she described everything, such as when she compared Inuyasha's and Sesshoumaru's eyes (I can't remember the quote exactly, but I think it was something like, "It was like coming home, only to discover that all of the furniture had been rearranged"). Overall, this story is extremely well done, and the author has shown a great deal of patience and dedication to write so much so well (instead of trying to take shortcuts like some other authors do). I can't wait to read the rest!

I've actually been keeping up with the whole story, but I'm lazy and so when I went to type up a real review I clicked number one. :) Just figured I'd say that the last time somone I knew wrote a fanfic in the same calibre as yours he was later hired by the company that owned the world he was writing about. (Of course, he hadn't finished his story then and still hasn't, which sucks, but it was still awesome that he became the real writer for that word's storyline.) So I'd say to persue that whole novel writing thing if you want to; I'd buy anything you wrote. This is a great story, and one of few that I've actually pulled quotes out of context from to put on my livejournal and stuff. On the whole, great job, and keep going! :)

I am so begging for more of this stuff. Make it more juicy! And I can't wait for your next update! :)

I knew I shouldn't have read this story. I've seen it posted when you'd update in the past and think it might be good, but really never decided to give it a chance for some reason. I'd always move on to the next one. I guess the summary just never grabbed my attention. But now I've gone and done it. I've read it. I have spent the past half a week and the weekend seemingly obssessed with this story. I've wanted to get through it, to keep going and absorbe the intricat tale of loss, love and the need to be needed and want to be wanted. Your prose is like poetry, so much so that I've found myself in tears more often then any other story has managed. The theme of time in this story is well used as well. Kagome's disconnection to any time leaving her desperate to find her place. The idea that that place is based on people is shown with her growing conneciton with Sesshoumaru and her loss of her friends. It is beautifully built upon over loops in time. When Kagome saw Kouga again, I cried at their reunion. When they said goodbye again, I cried. You have a way of showing how final everything is, staying in that moment and not letting the reader distance themselves from it. It is a saddness I often find hard to face up to in real life. I look forward to the continuation and conclusion of this story, though I am not dissatisfied at where it has left off. She has gone back into the future, and you leave the reader with the hope that she will find him and so find her place. Keep up the hard and beautiful work.

Reviewed By: Inusbabe [MediaMiner Member] On: January 10, 2006 20:33 EST Comment/Review: Ok I'm not usually one to read a lot of Sess/Kag, but this one is probably the best one of that pairing I have even ever seen. I was crying for Sesshoumaru because she died. I was thinking grab her run and use your sword. But he brought her back in front of them all, and was sealed. I love she promised to find him. I hope he is ok when she does. If it is modern times it is possible his mind could be shattered. Since he was awake but trapping. 400 plus yrs of nothing would make him 'barking mad' Well you have some chapters written hopefully they will be posted soon.

I really enjoyed reading this and now I share the gut-wrenching pain of all your other fans while we wait for you to make this better. Not that it is bad, it is excellent, as you already know. You could, understandably, end the story here, but that would be truly cruel and frankly unnecessarily so. Watching Sesshoumaru grow as a person is really gratifying. And just so you know, I heard about your story from InuSaga's _Full_Circle_.
