i^4 = 1 Therefore i^4 + 2 = 0 is incorrect. Other than that, I think this is a very original idea to combine math and writing, though there are some places where you might want to clarify. When going through the first equation's substitutions, you just jumped from one variable to the next and I wasn't completely sure when you changed topics. You can try changing a few periods to semi colons. Very creative and original. I do think that the equations might be too simple for Satoshi though.

I think that was awesome! That seems just like that brainy Satoshi, to do math problems to ditract himslef from his problems. Good job! ^^

Thank you for submitting this to FFARG. ^^ I read your other D.N. Angel Satoshi-based one-shot, and once again, you've given us a very interesting insight into Satoshi's character within a single short story. The math analogy was very nicely constructed and executed - this definitely isn't a story for the casual reader, which could be both a great and a bad thing. XD I haven't done math in at least a year (I took my last math class my first year of college), so this was a nice reminder of what these equations meant. Heh. At any rate, I think you did very nicely, unless you want the average reader to try to take a crack at this. (It's a little too intellectual for some people, I'd imagine... haha.) Excellent job!

This is based on the first chapter, also I have no clue on the seires itself. Either way, the method of opening ewith a seires of math problems was interesting, and how you solved them was interesting as well. However, each chapter of a story should do something to the plot, yet here there is little character description, aside from he's really good at math. I sould suggest you add something else in as well as that math bit, to get some action going, and the reader interested. Good job, and keep submitting to FFARG.

I wonder if I can get Satoshi to do my math homework... That was an awsome story. Now I'll actually have something to think about during math...^^

Oo, I love your psychological stuffs. I loved the way you did this... you obviously know your math stuffs, or are good at fudging your way through it. The way Satoshi repeatedly replaced parts of the equations with other things, dragging it back... I take great amusment in the idea that Krad wouldn't know math, at all... Very original, and thusly, odd. It had a very Satoshi ring to it all, constantly being dragged back towards exactly what he didn't want it to, making it utterly hopeless, which really describes Satoshi very accurately, so hooray! And each equations was fascinating to watch as it mutated into something D.N.Angel... rather puts ol' Satoshi's mind into perspective, I find. You also got the relationships down, all of this from Satoshi's point of view, of course, rather well, in the way each forces others to act, like in an equation. "If you add this, then that will do that," and all that, and it is, again, an odd but interesting way to look at it all. In the end, I suppose the answer of, "There is no answer" isn't quite as complicated as one would think. Anywho, great job! ^^

I can't help but read your other Satoshi-based fics! Wow, this was so...intellectual! Just like Satoshi! Brain hurt afterwards, but it was a great read. Again, very very creative and original. It seemed like you put a lot of planning and thought into this...well, it's paid off!
