Artist's Commentary
This scan is craptacular...I used two different brands of pen on this and in the scan its obscenely obvious, one of the pens doesn't even look black and where I filled in lines in pencil crayon looks terrible...bleh...it looks good in rl... Anyways, this is Santiago, the Puppeteer. He's the main bad guy in my original series "The Relic Warriors" and for anyone who might have been following my writtings about them, he's one of Tatiana's counterpart and is the Warrior of Darkness/Death. Cliche I know, but I couldn't think of better terms. Anyways, he's a pure black elf and well versed in black elven magic and has many power tattoos (even though very few are visible in the drawing). His most used ability is called "puppet string" and essentially its sending an energy string into someone which gives you complete control over their minds and bodies. Hence all the strings flaring out from the chair...its also a bit of a mockery of those holy auras in catholic images of Christ and saints... Mediums: Mech pencil to sketch, black ball point pens, laurentien pencil crayons. |
