INTRO

It had been one week since Nikki and Jonesy were married and they had received quite a lot of compliments during that time. Some people even addressed Nikki as Mrs. Garcia, only to have her correct them, “It's Wong-Garcia. It's hyphenated.”

Today, however, Nikki was late in coming. Jonesy was worried about his wife. “Didn't you walk to the mall with her?” Wyatt asked, but Jonesy reminded us that though they were married, since Nikki was never pregnant they still lived in their own respective homes, though they see each other a lot each day. “Look if you see her; let her know I'm lookin' for her okay.”

We all agreed, and then Jonesy walked off to go find a new job. The rest of us we're worried about Nikki too, we decided to fan out and search for her.

On the way, I bumped into a girl not seeing where I was going. “Oh, sorry about that…” I said. The girl I bumped into was about a head short of my height; she had reddish-brown hair and was wearing a purple hooded sweatshirt. “My glasses…” she said. “Where are my glasses?”

I looked over my shoulder and saw a pair of broken glasses beside me. “Ah, man…”

Meanwhile the others were still looking for Nikki. They saw someone who looked like Nikki, but she was wearing glasses-- nerdy ones at that… when they asked her if they had seen their friend anywhere, to their surprise. “Guys… it's me.”

“Nikki…?!” They all exclaimed.

It was defiantly her...

Now that we're through with school

We get to make all the rules,

Spend more time with all my friends.
