Disclaimers: I don't own CCS no matter how much I wished I did. It's owned
by a bunch of people with a lot more money than I have.

A.N. Thanks to all the great response from everybody I stayed up late and
postponed my homework to write this chapter. It seems that everyone was so
joyous that S+S finally found each other again so I decided to cave into
everyone's sweet tooth so this chapter and maybe next chapter will be
dedicated to S+S fluff. Thank-you everyone for your support with this fic.
Provided that I don't run into any writer's blocks I will hopefully be able
to get chapters of this thing out at a decent rate. Oh yeah I better warn
all of you that I just happen to adore angst and dark fics so don't expect
this story to be all fluff. It will definitely have its dark moments later
on, but I'll try to not let myself get carried away too much.

Syaoran sighed as he walked to Professor Shido's lecture hall. The professor
had asked him to meet her after he had finished his soccer practice saying
she had a favor to ask of him. Syaoran had wanted to refuse and spend his
time wandering around campus in search of Sakura, but he didn't have the
heart to turn Professor Shido down. The professor had been really helpful to
him in making sure he caught up to the rest of the class in Calculus since
he had entered the class a month later than everyone else.

Syaoran just wished that he could see Sakura. He knew that even if he did
see her it didn't mean that he was ready to tell her that his feelings for
her had remained the same and ask her what her feelings for him were,
provided that she even still remembered him. It had been over a week and
although he had seen glimpses of several of his former friends from Tomoeda
Elementary, the he had not seen even a trace of Sakura. He wanted Sakura to
be the first one to know that he was back in Tomoeda, so he hadn't talked to
any of the others though he had a class with Yamazaki.

He had tried out for the soccer team and kendo team as his sister had
suggested. Of course he had made both teams with ease. He was quickly
gaining the reputation of being the teams' star. A reputation he hadn't
wanted because it brought him much more trouble than good. Recently during
practice a large group of girls that the other guys on the team had jokingly
referred to as his "fan-club" would gather watching him play or practice and
squealing in their high-pitched annoying voices. They probably thought they
were helping cheer him on but they were annoying and distracting him much
more than helping. Because of his athletic skills and his good looks he was
extremely popular with the girls, but it also served to antagonize the other
guys on the team. They probably thought he was showing off, but he wasn't.
He just wanted to play and he just wanted those girls to leave him alone.
After practice they liked gather around him flirting and trying to entice
him into asking them out, but he ignored all of them. No matter how cold he
acted towards them, they remained persistent. He wondered if they were just
being determined or if they were too stupid to take a hint.

After two days of the "royal treatment" by his fan club, Syaoran got fed up
and had devised a way of leaving without their notice. He would enter the
locker room after practice and climb out of the window and onto the roof.
>From the roof he used his magic to help him jump to another building where
he could leave safely. He was desperate to get away from those girls and to
find Sakura. Today had been no different, but today he had to put off
finding Sakura.

Finally he reached Professor Shido's class and could hear emanating from the
room another female voice talking to the professor. "Great." he thought
sarcastically, "Someone's in there talking to her already. I guess I'll just
have to go in there and wait for her to finish."

Syaoran stepped through the door and stopped short. There was something
oddly familiar about the figure the professor was talking to. The person was
had a beautiful profile and slim figure. Her delicate face was framed by
long auburn hair, but it wasn't until the girl turned around to face him and
his amber eyes met emerald-green eyes that he realized who the figure was.
His eyes widened in shock. The person he had been searching for and longing
to see for so long was now right in front of him. Syaoran saw the figure
widen her eyes also before her sweet voice whispered, "Syaoran-kun..."

All Syaoran could do was stare and respond with a barely audible,
"Sakura..."

Syaoran and Sakura just stood there with a tense silence surrounding them as
they stared at each other. Finally Professor Shido broke the tense silence
by asking, "Do you two know each other?"

"Hai." the two responded as they looked at each other then glanced down and
blushed.

"Really. I'm surprised since Li-san has told me that he is from Hong Kong.
How do you two know each other?"

"Err...well I went to school here in Tomoeda when I was in fourth grade."
Syaoran informed her as he stole a few discretionary glances at Sakura. She
was looked just as he imagined she would. She still possessed the same
sparkling green eyes, delicate face albeit a bit more mature, and warm happy
glow. His heart ached as he thought about how much he had missed her.

"Really and here I thought that I would be helping you out by introducing
you to the most popular girl in school, but I see you already know her."

"Hoe..." Sakura said as Professor Shido said that she was the most popular
girl in school.

"Well the favor I had wanted to ask of you is to tutor Kinomoto-san here in
Calculus. You seem to have a very firm grasp of the concepts and Kinomoto
has been struggling a bit in this class. I was originally thinking that you
could tutor her and in exchange she could show you around, but I guess that
won't be necessary now but it would be nice if you tutored her."

Sakura looked hopefully at Syaoran pleading silently with him to tutor her.
Yes she needed the help in math, but what was more important, was that if he
tutored her then she could see him and be around him again. Right now she
wasn't yet ready to tell him that she loved him and had always loved him.
But she hoped that with a bit of time she would be ready to tell him even if
he no longer cared about her she had to tell him.

Glancing over at Sakura Syaoran noticed the hopeful look on her face and
rejoiced inwardly at the thought of having an excuse to spend time with her
again. Silently he thanked Professor Shido for having helped him find Sakura
and setting up a chance for him to see her more often. Looking up, Syaoran
smiled tentatively at Sakura and Professor Shido and answered, "I'll tutor
her."

"Great. That's all I wanted to talk to you two about. Why don't you two work
out a schedule now. I have some errands to run. I'll see you two in class on
Wednesday." Professor Shido said as she picked up her stuff and walked out
the door, leaving her two students standing in her room stealing occasional
glances at each other. Shido Hikaru sighed as she left the two. She hoped
that the extra push she had given those two would be enough to get them
together. Earlier that week she had gotten a call from one of her former
students, Mizuki Kaho. Kaho had been one of her first students, and she was
fond of the girl. She was surprised to say the least when Kaho had called
asking her to try and get two of her students to meet. She had wondered how
Kaho had even known Li-san, though she certainly knew how she would have
known Kinomoto-san. Then it had seemed a strange request to her but when
Hikaru saw the two kids together she understood why Kaho had wanted them to
meet. Those two kids obviously loved each other with a love that had lasted
eight years and Hikaru felt proud that she helped them find each other
again. Yes right now they seemed to be a bit dense and oblivious to the
other's feelings but through personal experience Hikaru was sure that they
would understand each other's emotions eventually.

"It's nice to see you again, Syaoran-kun. When did you get back here?"
Sakura asked softly. Actually it was not just nice seeing him again it was
wonderful seeing him again. It made her feel so happy and complete being
with him again and Sakura couldn't help but smile brightly at him.

"I got back a week ago." Syaoran replied. She still had that beautiful
smile. Sakura had grown up. Looking at her he saw that she had grown from a
cute little girl that he had fallen in love with into a beautiful young
woman that he was still in love with. Although she had grown up, Syaoran
could tell just by looking at her that she was still the same sweet, gentle,
spirited girl that she had been eight years ago. But he realized with dismay
that indeed Sakura was beautiful and he was probably not the only male to
notice it. Syaoran wondered then if she had a boyfriend. His face became
flushed as he seethed at the thought of his beautiful Sakura with another
man, but he calmed himself down when Sakura looked at him with concern.

"Honto? Why didn't you let anyone know? We all missed you so much when you
left." Especially me, Sakura thought to herself. Sakura looked at Syaoran
and noticed for the first time just how different he was from the boy that
she had known so many years ago. He was much taller and his face had lost
much of its baby fat. His voice was deeper and he now exuded a sense of
confidence and strength but she could still feel his gentle soul.

"Err...no reason really. But how about we go someplace and figure out when I
should tutor you?" Syaoran suggested.

"Un. How about my dorm room?"

"Your room?" Syaoran asked as he gulped and turned red in the face at the
thought of being in Sakura's room.

"Hai...oh..." Sakura said as she realized what she had just suggested and
began blushing bright red too, "I didn't mean it that way. Tomoyo's there
and I'm sure she'd be happy to see you again."

"Okay." Syaoran replied smiling as he began to head out the door with Sakura
following him. The two walked side by side in silence for several moments
just basking in the knowledge that they were together again. Finally Sakura
broke the silence trying to make conversation, "Um...so how have you been?"

"Err...well I been okay I guess. So how is everyone here doing?" Syaoran
said not mention the intensive training he had to go through the last eight
years and turning the topic away from himself.

Sakura's face brightened as she recounted to him about all the things that
had happened while he was gone like how Rika and Terada-sensei had gotten
married after Rika graduated and how Chiharu and Yamazaki had gotten
engaged. Finally after walking for fifteen minutes they arrived at Sakura's
dorm. Looking up for the first time to see where he was, Syaoran's eyes
widened again.

Seeing Syaoran's reaction, Sakura asked him, "Syaoran-kun what wrong?"

"Err...nothing really. It's just that this is my dorm building also."
Syaoran replied blushing fiercely.

"Hoe..." Sakura replied stunned.
