Leaving you for

God only knows

Amidst the danger

And the disgusting dust

Of the planet you were on-

He was a constant

A believer, a fighter

But he loved somebody else

But he saved the day

... And then he broke your heart.

Ah, the fire of betrayal!

Oh, the restlessness that was

Is gone

And your focus is in the past

... It'll never change.

And I daresay I can't do anything

For you

... But could he ever have, anyway?

Do you think he doesn't think of you now?

Ah, the fire of betrayal!

Oh, I wish that maybe you could see,

Past the black-colored glasses,

That there's a world without him

...And that maybe if you looked hard enough,

You'd see me.
