Chapter 3: A Way Back

"How do we get back?" Pai asked.

"Ed can send you back. But Ed really wants you to stay! There's still 4 minutes

left to decide," Ed said sadly

"What do you mean?" Ryo asked.

"Well," Ed began," Our worlds have come very close to collision. Because of

this, Ed was able to bring you here. When our worlds depart, they won't come together again

for 4 years in our world. In your world, time has stopped. You would be 23 here but still be 19

in your world. So could you please stay?"

"Hey, wait a minute! We can barely feed ourselves, but three extra people?!? I

don't think so!" Spike said.

"JUST SEND US HOME!!!" Amber and Ryo screamed.

"Oh alright..." Ed said and started typing furiously again.

Then there was another explosion. The Tomato had blown up.

"Uh oh, does that mean we're stuck here?" Amber cried.

"Ed can't fix the Tomato quick enough!" Ed said sounding happy that they were

stuck there, but sad because her computer had blown up.

"So how are we going to afford this?" Faye asked, "I already have enough debts to pay."

"We have some money," Pai said, pulling $20 from her pocket.

"Wow! That money is so old, it must be worth at least 20 million!" Jet said

now also happy with the idea of them staying.
