Chapter 9 - Good-Bye and a Memory?

"Mana...I...I can't risk losing you too..." - Yami

Just then, a hologram of Black Ghost appeared.

"So...will you?" - Black Ghost

Yami's eyes were shadowed, trying hard to cover the tears he had. He has never betrayed anyone in his life, but now he will soon start his walk down the path of.....

"0015!" - 009

Yami turned toward where Panik and Mana were and saw the cyborg team & an unconscious Panik.

"Get up, Yami!" - 0020

Yami was still on his knees. He was about to stand, but was grabbed by Black Ghost.

'Boy, I getting strangled a lot.' - Yami

"Black Ghost! Let go of 0015!" - 009

"He belongs to us, kid!" - Panik

"Wait a second! Panik?!" - 0020

"Oh good lord! Not him again!" - 0017

"Hello again. Now we will be leaving." - Mimic of Doom

"NO!" - 009

Joe ran toward them, but was blown away by a powerful, but unknown wind. Everyone except Mana covered their eyes. Mana looked at Yami with tears coming out of her eyes.

"No..." - 0022

"...Good-bye, Mana, my love." - 0015

Just then, he, Black Ghost, Panik, and the Mimic of Doom faded away. After the wind stopped, Jyonochi ran to where they were standing. Mana fell down to her knees.

"No. He's gone." - 0020

"Ouji..." - 0022

Francoise knelt next to Mana. She saw a lot of tears fall down Mana's eyes.

"0020?" - 003

"Ouji...my love...you can't be gone...you...just can't..." - 0022

She slowly stood up, still looking down at the ground.

"NOOOO! OUJI! COME BACK! OUJI!" - 0022

Her voice echoed through the pier, hoping it would reach her love.

Back at the house, everyone was at the living room. They were packing up to leave and move to another location. Jyonochi, Bakura, Albert, and G. Junior were in the living room, putting away the luggage.

"Boy, Jyonochi. You sure know how to pack." - Bakura

"Shut it." - Jyonochi

Albert paused for a brief moment to look at Jyonochi.

"Look, 0020. I know that you're worried about 0015. We all are. But there's nothing we can do now." - Albert

"He is right. If we had a lead or something that can track 0015, we would search for him. But since Black Ghost knows that we are here, we must leave before more innocent people die." - G. Junior

"You're right...It's just...Mana is taking it the hardest. It seems that she and Yami were more than friends." - Jyonochi

Upstairs, Mana lay on her bed, while looking up at the ceiling. She was crying. They were so close, so close to being together again.

'Ouji...' - Mana

While she was still looking at the ceiling, Jet walked by with Great Britain. They were carrying their stuff downstairs. Jet saw Mana still at her bed.

"Look you bring these downstairs." - Jet

Jet just put his stuff on top of Great Britain's, then began walking to Mana. G.B. was having a hard time so while walking he fell down the stairs. (EPG: HEY DONT DO DAT TO G.B. HE KEWL!) Snicker....

"Hey." - Jet

Mana looked toward Jet.

"Come on. We better pack up and go." - Jet

Mana just looked down, still crying.

"Look. If we don't get this stuff in the Dolphin, we won't be able to find 0015. And if you don't move, we could get Dr. Kozumi and other people injured, or worse." - Jet

Mana stood up, still looking at the floor and crying. Jet patted her head a little.

"Plus, I don't know why anyone would like a crybaby." - Jet

"What...did...you just say?" - Mana

"I said dat why would anyone like a crybaby." - Jet

"Alright! Dat's it!" - Mana

Jet began running out of the room, almost running into Joe and Kaiba. Then a few seconds later, Mana followed with her staff.

"You baka head! I'm gonna kill you for calling me a crybaby!" - Mana

"Oh boy..." - Joe

"What's all the commotion?" - Albert

Joe looked and saw Albert and Mokuba walking toward them.

"002 must've gotten on to 0022's nerves again." - Joe

"At least she's back to her old self." - Mokuba

"Even her baby-self...." - Kaiba

"At least she didn't hear that." - Albert

On the Dolphin, Shizuka was helping Pyunma type in some coordinates. After putting in half of the data, Shizuka dropped the clipboard and began clenching her heart.

"0018! What's wrong?" - Pyunma

Pyunma held up Shizuka, as she was slowly losing conscious.

"0016! 0014!" - Joe

Back at the house, Jyonochi, Bakura, Kaiba, and Mokuba began to pass out.

-Dream-

"Where am I?" - Shizuka

She found herself in a large palace, with no human in sight.

"Hello!" - Shizuka

"Shizuka!" - Mana

Shizuka turned around and saw Mana.

"Where are we?" - Shizuka

"Looks like Ancient Egypt." - Mana

"Ouji! Where are you?"

Mana and Shizuka looked toward a large grass area of the palace and saw a little bit younger version of Mana wearing Egyptian clothing. It seemed she was looking for Yami, who was hiding behind the tree. He was also younger and wearing Egyptian clothing.

"Ouji! Come on! Let's go inside!" - Y. Mana

When she was near the tree, Y. Yami was about to grab her, but was too slow.

"Missed!" - Y. Mana

They began running around, laughing. Then they headed toward a maze, they began chasing each other through it. Once Y. Mana reached a dead end, she waited patiently for Y. Yami to catch up. Y. Yami finally caught up, almost out of breathe.

"Got...ya..." - Y. Yami

"Yep, you did!" - Y. Mana

Y. Yami became confused while Mana slowly walked toward him.

"Here's your prize." - Y. Mana

Y. Mana quickly kissed Y. Yami on the lips. After the kiss, she smiled a little, watching Y. Yami blush hard. Then the scene turned black around Mana and Shizuka.

"Aw....that was so sweet. Who knew you to cared for each other?" - Shizuka

"But...why were we seperated?" - Mana

Just then a flash of light blinded their eyes.

-End of Dream-

"Mana...Mana! Open your eyes!"

Mana slowly opened her eyes and saw everyone staring at her.

"0022! You're ok!" - Franciose

"You sure gave us a scare." - Albert

"It's good to have you awake, sissy!" - Mokuba

Mana stood up. She was about to say something but heard Bakura laugh.

"What's so funny?" - Mana

"Heheheheh...I can't believe that you and the pharoah loved each other back in ancient Egypt. BWHAHAHA!" - Bakura

Mana was blushing hard when everyone looked at her with confusion.

"Mana and Yami sitting in a tree! K-I-S-S-I-N-" - Bakura

"SHUT UP! YOU'RE SERIOUSLY PISSING ME OFF!" - Mana

"Someone's got a crush!" - Great Britain

"No! No, I dont!" - Mana

"Stop that, you guys!" - Shizuka

"Ya! Leave her alone! She got enough on her mind anyway." - Jyonochi

"Plus, we're not finished packing!" - Mokuba

"AH!" - Everyone else

"Good-bye, Dr. Kozumi!" - Everyone

Waving good bye, the cyborgs sail away in the Dolphin. Mana looks up to the sky, knowing that someday, she and Yami will be together again.
