I look down on the field where my love laughs with the one she loves.

She took him.

I knew she would.

Everyone saw it happening, even I did, and yet I still loved her.

Maybe it was a small part of me that hoped she would choose me.

But I was just a friend.

She never really knew me.

We said hi or talked a little, but she never knew me.

But I wanted to know her.

I loved her.

The day I saw her was like the day I was born.

Born with light in my heart that told me to fly into the sun and the sky till I reached the heavens.

But I never told her my feelings.

I never told her what I felt.

I never told my love.

Gatomon.

I sighed as I started to walk away from the scene.

Till I stopped completely when they kissed.

Both she and Patamon seemed happy.

But I wasn't.

When they told us they were a couple I felt like I was nothing.

My heart was stabbed and thrown into a pit of lions to be feasted on.

My soul was sent into a veil of darkness to endlessly wander in sorrow.

My eyes would forever rain like the water from the clouds in the skies.

I ran away in tears.

I loved her, but she took him.

Would I ever find another angel of grace and love?

Or was I doomed to remain loveless forever?

I don't know how far I have sprinted, but I don't care.

My heart for love has stopped a long time ago.

Suddenly, I bump into someone.

I look and gasp.

She looked like my angel, but she was different.

She looked like Gatomon, but was not.

She looked like a new day, but it was only dawn.

She looked so sweet and innocent that I had no choice but to blush.

“Oh…I'm sorry.” She said as I could also see her blush.

“No….no it's my fault.” I said as I helped her get up.

We looked into each others eyes. They were like my former loves, but they were different.

They were shiner then the stars.

They were bluer then the sea.

They were purer then the angels.

“I'm Veemon.” I said.

“I'm BlackGatomon.”

We both noticed our hands touching each other.

We look away embarrassed.

We then look at each other.

My heart, itfeels like it has dived into a pit of love.

My soul, it feels like it has sailed from heaven and back.

My eyes, itfeels like they have seen Aphrodite.

Have I found new life?

Have I found a new one?

Have I found a new love?

“I was going out for some lunch…do you wish to join me?” She asked in a sweet tone.

“I would love too.” I answered as we both walked down the road of a new journey.

We held each others hands.

We both knew it, but we didn't mind.

We were in love.

I am Veemon.

A love I have lost, yet a new love I have found.
