Episode 10: Weapon Shopping

 

 

Scene 1: Inside the VTOL

 

[The fighters are all in the VTOL when Kenrensky speaks into the VTOL's speakers]

 

Kenrensky: Ok listen up! The key to wining any war is a lot of weapons. The more we get and the less they have, the better. So that is why we're going to teach the Word a little lesson in audacity. Camra will hot drop you guys on the western side of the base. You'll try to steal as many weapon cashes as you can. I've given all of you at least four homing devices to use to transport the weapons. You will stick them to the weapons and hit the red button in the middle. The devices will teleport the weapons back to the VTOL, repeat as needed. When you get back with as many weapons as possible, Camra will drop you off at the eastern side of the base. Be careful though you don't want to overload the VTOL and make it impossible to fly it. That is why camra is going to let you know when the VTOL has reach its max loading capacity. Sound Good?

General: Sounds like a plan to me!

Kenrensky: Good! Remember there are to ways out. The first is under the stone bridge, which is heavily guarded, that leaves the jungle exit unprotected. Hint, Hint!

Sky: We got it doc!

Kenrensky: Just checking! Good luck!

[Kenrensky ends transmission]

General Lox: I have a better I idea to avoid wasting time going from one side to the next.

Kal-El: Let's hear it!

General Lox: Kazar, myself and Kal-El will get the weapon cashes from the eastern side of the base, Shu-Wa, Jor-El and Sky will get the ones from the eastern side of the base. This is to avoid taking longer than we need to.

Camra: That sounds good to me!

Kazar: I guess than we'll do that than.

Camra: Ok people, this is your stop! Good luck and see you back at the checkpoint.

Jor-El: Alright!

[The fighters jump out the back of the ship and head down to the western side of the base]

[Scene ends]

 

Scene 2: Western Side Of The Depot

 

[The fighters land on western side of the base and are hiding behind a couple of tall bushes]

General Lox: [Whispers] Everybody remembers the plan?

Kazar: [Whispers] Yeah!

Jor-El: [Whispers] Got it!

General Lox: [Whispers] Ok, you guys head along that trench over there, it shouldn't be much of a problem since it is deep according to the photos you guys took.

Sky: [Whispers] Ok, we'll meet up where we said we would!

Raven: [Whispers] Try not to get yourselves killed!

[Jor-El, Sky and raven crawl away from the others and creeps to the deep trench that is on the left side of them]

General Lox: [Whispers] Come on!

[General Lox, Kal-El and Kazar crawl away the bush and head east to the production factory]

[Scene ends]

 

Scene 3: Inside the Production Factory (Few minutes later)

 

[General Lox, Kal-El and Kazar sneak into the factory without any resistance]

Kazar: [Whispers] Is it me or does this seem too easy?

Kal-El: [Whispers] I notice that too. Things are running to smoothly!

General Lox: [Whispers] It won't matter anyway, they'll be the ones caught with their pants down. Look over there!

[They look over across the hall and see a steel, rusted door with the sign that says “Weapon Storage”]

Kazar: [Whispers] There's what we're looking for! Kal-El and I will do the weapons. You set the charges.

General Lox: [Whispers] Alright I'll meet you both back at VTOL?

Kazar: [Whispers] Good Luck!

[General Lox creeps away to the elevator shaft]

Kazar: [Whispers] Come on!

[Kazar and Kal-El slowly walk over to the unguarded weapon storage and push open with all their might the heavy steel rushed door. They get into the dark storage room and find a switch that turns on the light. Kal-El leaves the door slightly ajar]

Kal-El: Look at all this!

Kazar: They must be preparing for something. Come on let's stack up the crates.

[Scene ends]

 

Scene 4: Inside the elevator shaft (Few minutes later)

 

[General Lox gets into the elevator and pushes the “8th floor” button to the assembly floor. The elevator goes up and suddenly stops at the fourth floor. The elevator doors open and two WOB troops goes inside, but they don't see General Lox in the elevator. They push the “6th floor” button and chat with each other.

Troop 1: So what is this I hear about some “out of town” fighters fighting along side the Thestrians?

Troop 2: I don't know, but they are starting to become a thorn in Thestalos's side. They have no idea what it is like to see him upset.

[The elevator stops at the sixth floor and the WOB troops exit. The elevator doors closes and the elevator continues to the eighth floor. General Lox jumps down from the elevator ceiling and waits. The elevator stops at the eighth floor and General Lox gets off]

[Scene ends]

 

Scene 5: Eastern Side Of the Depot (7 Minutes later)

 

[Jor-El, Raven and Sky made it to the eastern side of the depot and are hiding behind a steel girder]

Jor-El: So who is going to set the charges?

Raven: Not Me!

Sky: Don't look me!

Jor-El: C'mon this is serious; I have to make sure those weapon crates get back to the ship.

Sky: How about we shoot for it?

Raven: Whatever!

[Raven, Sky and Jor-El play “Rock, Paper, Scissors” to decide who is going to set the charges. Raven chooses Rock, Sky chooses Scissors and Jor-El also chooses Rock. Sky looses so he has to set the charges]

Sky: Why do I always get stuck with the dirty work?

Raven: Because you're not as clever and smart as we are!

[Sky gives Raven an angry look]

Jor-El: You go find someplace to set the charges and we'll meet you back at the VTOL in ten minutes.

Raven: [Smiling] Bye!

[Sky creeps his way into the factory building]

[Jor-El and Raven aka Shu-Wa moves slowly to the lone warehouse that is right next to the factory]

[Scene ends]

 

Scene 6: Inside the Warehouse (Few Minutes Later)

 

[Jor-El and Raven found a way in and now are inside the warehouse. They come across tons and tons of crates filled with all kinds of weapons and gadgets]

Jor-El: Wow! The Word surely doesn't kid around when it comes to fighting!

Raven: We won't be able to take them all. We're going to have to choose what we can take and what we can't.

Jor-El: Alright, you search the left side of the warehouse and I'll search the right!

[Jor-El and Raven split up and roam the aisles for good weapons. Raven comes across two boxes that has a sign on them that says “Plasma Grenades”]

Raven: [Thinking to herself] Hmmm! I can use these for my routine missions back on Helios.

[Raven puts a couple in her pants pocket and them she attaches the teleporting device to the two boxes and hits the red button in the middle. The boxes are teleported back to the VTOL. Meanwhile, Jor-El is looking at a couple of boxes that say “Rocket Launchers”]

Jor-El: [Thinking to himself] These people are no pushover! They have some of the most powerful hand made weapons ever created! It's a pity it will all be gone before they even know it.

[Jor-El stacks up three boxes filled with Rocket launchers, grenades, and energy guns and attaches the teleporting device to the boxes and pushes the red button and they are transported to the VTOL.]

[Scene ends]

 

Scene 7: Brawl in the Basement (Few Minutes Later)

 

[Meanwhile, Sky is searching for a good place to set the charges. He is on the 1st floor and is heading down the stairs to the basement to plant two of the three charges. Once he gets down to the basement, he sees boxes filled with TNT and sets one of the charges right next to the boxes. He sets the timer for “8 minutes” and than he heads back up the stairs, but he hears noises from the top of the staircase. It sounds like someone is coming down. Sky quickly runs back down and looks for a place to hide. He finds a closet in the in the back of the basement and hides in it. He peeks around the corner and sees three WOB troopers with guns in the basement looking around for something]

Troop 1: Where did he say it was?

Troop 2: He said it was down here someplace!

Troop 3: I can't believe we're down here looking for some kind of stone the boss put left down here.

Troop 2: He said that stone is very important to the cause of Thestalos.

Troop 1: I heard that stone is some sort of booster. It gives the holder a temporary power up.

Troop 3: Cool!

Troop 2: Found it!

Troop 1: Good lets get out of here!

Troop 2: Wait a minute what is that sound?

Troop 3: I hear it too!

[The three troopers look around trying to find the source of that beating noise. Trooper 2 pulls back a couple of boxes that have TNT and finds the source of that noise. He comes across a bomb with the timer at “6 minutes 46 seconds”]

Troop 2: [Shouts, Scared] It's a bomb!

Troop 1: What?

Troop 2: Someone planted a bomb in here!

[Sky sneaks up behind the three troops and kicks one of the troopers' gun behind his head and the troop turns around and Sky hits him in the face with the gun. The other trooper swings a punch, but Sky ducks it and kicks the other trooper behind him in the stomach, than does a 180-degree reverse leg sweep of the trooper in front of him and knock him on the floor and punches him in the gut. Sky steps back and the three troopers get back up and faces Sky in the front]

Sky: Well, how are you boys doin?

Troop 2: Its one of the foreigners!

Troop 1: Get him!

[The three troopers charge at Sky. Sky does a jumping spin kick and hits all the troopers in the face and than Sky starts picking each one apart. One trooper attempts a punch in the face, but Sky blocks it and catches the troopers fist and than the second trooper attempts a punch of his own, but Sky throws the trooper he is holding in front of him and the second trooper accidentally punches him instead on Sky. Sky than tosses the trooper he is holding into the second trooper. The third trooper runs behind Sky and attempts a spin kick, but Sky bends backwards a little and evades the kick the trooper than follows up with attempted punches, but Sky puts his left hand behind his back and blocks each attempted punch with his right hand. Sky bends his head to the left and evades the third trooper's punch and than Sky quickly counters with a two handed Paralyzing Palm to the chest and sends the trooper flying through the dry wall. The other troopers run up behind Sky, but Sky ducks the first trooper and elbows the second trooper in the face. The first trooper than turns around and throws a punch, but Sky blocks it with one hand and side kicks the trooper in the side of the face, and than Sky turns to his left and punches the first trooper in the face and than the second trooper comes again and than Sky turns and back saps the trooper in the face and than Sky turns back and looks at the timer on the far side of the wall and sees “4 minutes 24 seconds” on it]

Sky: [Thinking to himself] I got to speed this up!

[Sky performs rabidly fast sidekicks to the side of the head and ribs of the first trooper and than finishes it with a powerful double front kick to the face to the first trooper and sends him into a stack of boxes. The third trooper is lying on the ground inside the dry wall when he feels a lead pipe next to him. He reaches over and picks it up and than he slowly stands up. Sky hears the third trooper getting up and turns around and sees the lead pipe in his hand. From 20 feet inside the dry wall, the third trooper flings the lead pipe horizontally at Sky, but Sky bends all the way backwards (Matrix Style) and evades the lead pipe. The lead pipe than hits the second trooper in the face and sends him flying into the steel centerbeam in the middle. Sky sees a shelf with alot of heavy boxes that is over the hole of the dry wall and than he picks up the pipe and flings it at the legs of the shelf and causes the legs to buckle and fall, covering the small sized hole with the third trooper inside. Sky looks again at the timer and it sees “3 Minutes 20 seconds.” Sky sets his watch to the time on the bomb]

Sky: Well thanks boys for the exercise, but I got to jet!

[Sky runs up the stairs to the 1st floor and out the building and than talks into his earpiece to Jor-El and Raven]

Sky: [talking into earpiece] You guys, I'm back outside and I set the charges! If you don't want your ears to bleed than you better get away from this area in two and a half minutes.

Jor-El: [talking into earpiece] Alright I'll almost out! We'll see you back in VTOL.

[Scene ends]

 

Scene 8: Inside the Warehouse

 

Jor-El: [talking into earpiece] Shu-Wa did you hear?

Raven: [talking into earpiece] I heard!

Jor-El: [talking into earpiece] See you outside than?

Raven: [talking into earpiece] You bet!

[Raven picks up a gasoline tank and pours it all over everything including all the weapons. Suddenly out of nowhere a trooper bum rushes her and she falls to the ground dropping the gasoline can. The trooper is on top of her, but she kicks him off of her. When she gets up she sees four troopers guarding the exit and two more troopers walking towards her. She looks at where the gasoline splinted and she sees it went all over the gunpowder. Raven turns to the boxes on the floor and puts up two plasma grenades (excluding the ones in her pocket) and sees a stack of boxes that lead up to an open window. Raven runs to the window (In slow mo), but there are two troopers in front of her, but she jumps over them and flies right through the window. She than takes the hooks off of both grenades and throws them back into the warehouse. Four seconds later the warehouse blows up into a massive fireball. Raven flies towards the jungle exit. When she gets there she talks into her earpiece]

Raven: [Talking in Earpiece] Jor-El are you there?

[No Sound]

Raven: [Talking in earpiece] Jor-El can you hear me?

[No sound]

Raven: [Shouts into her earpiece] Jor-El! Please if you are there say something!

[No Sound]

[Raven drops to the ground on her knees and starts tearing a little. After a few minutes, she hears a sound behind her in the bushes and than she turns around]

Jor-El: What took you so long?

Raven: [Shouts in excitement] Jor-El!

[Raven runs over to him and hugs him tightly on the neck]

Raven: I thought you didn't make it out in time!

Jor-El: I watch the factory and warehouse blow up from here.

[After about 20 seconds of hugging, Raven realizes that she is still hugging him, she quickly lets go]

Raven: [Blushing] Oh! Well, I…. think we should get back to the VTOL.

Jor-El: [Surprised] Right!

[Jor-El and Raven move on though the jungle back towards the VTOL]

[Scene ends]

 

Scene 9: Inside the Western factory (Few Minutes)

[Kal-El and Kazar hear the explosion from the storage room]

Kal-El: You heard that?

Kazar: Yeah! We're going to have to work faster. That explosion must have alerted the guards. They're going to be all over this place soon.

Kal-El: That's the last of them. We got as much as we could.

Kazar: Good, now we can get out here!

[Kazar and Kal-El crept out of the storage room and hide behind a stack of boxes. They look at the elevator and the stairs and see it is block off by patrolling guards]

Kazar: [Whispers] Looks like we're going to have to fight our way out of here!

[The guards have their backs facing towards the fighters and are talking to each other. Kazar and Kal-El sneak up behind them and traps one of the guards on the shoulder. The guard turns around and Kazar punches him in the face and grabs the other guard's gun and saps him with it in the face. Kal-El pitches one guard in the shoulder and puts him to sleep, while he chops the other guard's gun and does a reverse kick in the chest. Kazar pushes the elevator button and waits for the elevator. When the elevator arrives, the doors open and General Lox is in it. The General pulls out his gun and points it at them in surprise]

Kazar: Wo! Relax, we're the good guys remember?

[The General withdraws his gun]

General Lox: What are you guys still doing here?

Kazar: We heard an explosion and we decided it was time to leave. The whole floor is blocked!

General Lox: Get in!

[Kazar and Kal-El get into the elevator and head to the 1st floor]

General Lox: I heard the explosion as well, and suddenly a bunch of troops surrounded the exits. I had to fight my way to the elevator.

[The troops in the security room look at the hidden camera in the elevator and see the three fighters inside]

Guard: [talking on the radio] Cut the power to the elevators!

Guard 2: [talking on the radio] Roger that!

[The Guard cuts the power to all elevators in the factory]

Kal-El: What just happened?

General Lox: They cut the power. We'll going to have to find another way out of this building.

Kazar: How?

General Lox: I have one more charger left over. We can escape though the elevator roof!

[General Lox opens the hatch on the elevator ceiling. Kazar and Kal-El climb out of the elevator and are waiting on the general while he sets the last charger]

General Lox: Grab onto the left elevator cable and wait on me!

[General Lox sets the charger to 20 seconds and climbs out of the elevator and grabs hold on the left cable. He pulls out his gun and points it at the bottom of the left cable and the lever and shoots it. The cable snaps in half and the fighters are propelled upwards and the elevator shaft downwards. When the fighters reach the top, Kal-El blast a whole in the roof and they escape out the building and a few seconds later the whole factory explodes into a huge fiery inferno. Kal-El, Kazar and Lox fly though the jungle exit back to the VTOL.

 

Scene 10: At the VTOL (Few Minutes Later)

 

[Sky, Camra, Jor-El and Raven are waiting inside the VTOL for the others to return]

Camra: What is taking them so long?

[Camra receives a call from the VTOL's radio frequency]

General Lox: [Speaking over the radio] Camra are there?

Camra: [Speaking into the radio] I'm here Lox, what's going on?

General Lox: [Speaking over the radio] There is no time to explain. Listen we're on our way back and we are coming in hot. Take everyone back to camp. Kazar, Kal-El and I are going to try to lead the Word away from our camp position.

Camra: [Speaking into the radio] Lox, listen to me you be careful you hear?

General Lox: [Speaking over the radio] yes darling! I'll see you back at camp.

[Radio transmission ends]

Camra: Alright everyone, apparently you heard what happen. It turns out the Word is on to us and it looks like they want their stuff back. We're heading back to camp and the others will meet us there once they get rid of their pursuers.

Raven: I hope they'll do it soon. Because the last thing we want is to the Word know where we are stationed!

Camra: Ain't that the truth! Well hold on!

[Five minutes later]

[Camra, Jor-El, Sky and Raven arrive in the VTOL back at camp. Kenrensky runs to the VTOL with worry on his face]

Kenrensky: We have a big problem!

Camra: What do you mean?

Kenrensky: I intercepted a message the Word sent out from that weapons depot before it blew up. It turns out they are planning a mass invasion of the planet in two days. That is why they have that weapons depot on this planet in the first place.

Camra: The others had to take a little detour before they can get here.

Kenrensky: I heard! The Word needed those weapons we stole and eventually blew up!

Raven: Did we put a hold on their plans to invade Thestria?

Kenrensky: I doubt it! All we did was slow them down little. It looks like they are on course to invade this planet.

Jor-El: If what your saying is true, than we are going to need a lot of help.

Camra: I'll see what strings I can pull. I can call up some of my old war buddies and have them call their buddies and try to gather a force to stop this invasion.

[Back at the other side of swamp, Kazar, Kal-El and General Lox have landed deep within the swamp and are hiding from the Word. The Word forces have traced them down to that location. The Word troops are looking around for them, but can't find them]

Kazar: [Whispers] What do we do?

General Lox: [Whispers] we'll have to get rid of them here. We can't risk having them follow us back to camp.

Kal-El: [Whispers] Ok, on the count of three we attack them. One, two, three!

[The fighters appear from behind the bushes and attack the Word troops. General Lox throws a plasma grenade to the group of troops and it explodes next to them, which sends them soaring into the air. Kazar uses his ice beam and freezes a bunch of troopers and than Kal-El fires his powerful Kamehameha Wave at the frozen troops and explodes into a large blue explosion, which clears the swamp of trees and water in that radius, leaving behind a huge crater in the ground. Some of the other Word troopers fire their energy guns at the fighters, but Kal-El counters with his energy barrier around the others. General Lox fires his own energy gun and hits four of the troopers that are still standing]

Kazar: Keep your barrier up Kal-El I'm about to make these troops chill out!

[Kazar Flies into the air over the group of Word troopers and releases his powerful Arctic Burst, which freezes everything in it's blast radius. Kazar freezes the left over troopers and the surrounding swamp. General Lox and Kal-El are protected from the deep freeze because of the energy barrier Kal-El created]

General Lox: Good work! Let's get back to the camp!

[10 Minutes Later]

[General Lox, Kal-El and Kazar arrive back at camp only to find everyone gone. They look inside the ship and find the others looking at the big screen in Kenrensky's ship]

Kal-El: What are you guys looking at?

Sky: We're looking at all the Word's ships that are two days away from here.

Kazar: We got rid of our pursuers! That should be the last of the Word on this planet.

Kenrensky: That is the exact opposite of what really going on!

Kazar: What are you talking about?

Jor-El: Dr. Ken had intercepted a transmission from the weapons depot before it was destroyed and we believe that the WOB forces are planning a massive invasion in two days. We are going to need a lot of manpower if we're going to stop this invasion.

General Lox: [Angry, Frustrated] Where are we going to get that kind of force in two days?

Sky: Camra said she would call up some of your old war buddies and seek help from them.

General Lox: [Grunts] Those old geezers? They can't even control their own bladders let alone control dangerous weapons!

Kenrensky: Well, we need all the help we can possibly get. For now I'll try to somehow amplify the supplies we stole, so we have some kind of edge. I just hope we aren't in way over our heads by fighting this war!

[Scene ends]
