Episode 11: Unexpected Betrayal

 

Scene 1: Kenrensky's Ship (One Day Later)

 

[After realizing what the Word Of Blake was planning to do in one day, the fighters along with General Lox, Dr. Kenrensky and Kazar try to formulate a plan to stop the invasion that is only one day away]

Kenrensky: [Shouts] Hey everyone come and take a look at this!

[Everyone walks into the ship and to the big screen]

Kal-El: What is it?

Kenrensky: I intercepted another transmission from one of the WOB ships that are a day away from here.

[Kenrensky plays the message]

 

Voice 1: We are only a day away from total domination of Thestria.

Voice 2: What about those pestering foreigners that are still on that planet?

Voice 1: Don't worry about them; Thestalos has something planned for them.

Voice 2: I don't want to send my troop into battle and have them sacrifice their lives in vain for a planet we might not be able to control. I had seen these things happen over and over again.

Voice 1: Don't be too hasty to plan a retreat when the fight hasn't even started! Thestalos has a full proof plan that can't go wrong!

Voice 2: Where are we going to begin our assault?

Voice 1: We'll start at the outskirts of the city and than make our way into the city.

Voice 2: We'll talk about this in greater detail later. We shouldn't be talking now someone could be listening.

[Message Ends]

 

Kenrensky: The message was encrypted, but I manage to decode it.

Raven: What could Thestalos be planning to do?

Sky: Whatever it is, it can't be good.

General Lox: Until we know the full nature of Thestalos plan, it is best to keep an eye on anything suspicious going on.

Kazar: He's right! If something unusually is going wrong, let somebody else know so we can investigate a little further.

General Lox: In the mean time while Camra is calling up our war buddies, I'll go into town and alert the citizens and see if we can recruit anybody who is willing to fight against the Word!

Kazar: I'll try to find some of my old clan members and see if they can lend a helping hand.

Kenrensky: I'll continue to watch the airwaves and alert you guys to any new activity that is going on.

Jor-El: I go with Lox and try to help him out!

Sky: I'll stay here with the doc and assist him!

Kal-El: I'll remain here with Sky and Dr. Ken.

Raven: I guess I'll go with Kazar and help him if he needs it.

Kazar: Thank you! Your help will be greatly appreciated!

General Lox: Ok, Let's move out! Time is against us!

[Lox and Jor-El fly off to the city, while Kazar and Raven aka Shu-Wa fly to the eastern end of the swamp. Sky, Kal-El remain behind with Kenerensky to continue to watch the activities going on the planet and away from it]

[Scene Ends]

 

Scene 2: The City (Ten Minutes later)

 

[General Lox and Jor-El reach the city and are standing next to a tall cooper statue of a strange four legged creature that is indigenous to the planet standing on it's hind legs. They watch people go by as if it was a normal day]

Jor-El: So where do we begin?

General Lox: I have just the thing!

[General Lox hesitates for a few seconds]

General Lox: [Laughs] I actually don't know where we should start!

[Jor-El faints on the ground for a few seconds and gets back up]

Jor-El: I thought you were a General?

General Lox: I am, but I was never good at recruiting others. I left that up to my top advisors and everything!

[General Lox spots a man with bullhorn and Lox sneaks up behind the man and snatches the bullhorn and runs]

General Lox: Come on!

[General Lox and Jor-El run away from the man as he chases them down the street]

Man: [Angry, Shouts] Hey come back here with that!

[Scene ends]

 

Scene 3: Kazar's Sanctuary (Ten minutes Later)

 

[After a few minutes of flyin, Kazar and Raven reach his special Sanctuary deep within the swamp. The sanctuary is a medium sized round house that use to be the hide out of Kazar's old clan]

Raven: Where are we?

Kazar: This is my safe haven! I lived here for 6 years now. Make yourself comfortable and I'll be right back while I get in contact with my clan members.

[Raven sits and waits in a chair while Kazar exits the house]

[After 15 minutes of waiting, Raven decides to get up and look for Kazar outside. Raven steps outside and looks around for any sign of Kazar]

Raven: [Yells] Kazar! Kazar! Where are you?

[Suddenly from behind Raven, two huge guys sneak up!]

[Scene Ends]

 

Scene 4: The City (A Few minutes later)

 

[After running for a few minutes, Lox and Jor-El hide behind a pile of trash cans in a small alley. The angry man runs by and passes them. When the coast was clear, Lox and Jor-El emerge from behind the trash cans and move out onto the sidewalk]

General Lox: Hoof! That was close!

Jor-El: I know! So what are you planning to do with that bullhorn?

General Lox: Watch and learn!

[Lox and Jor-El walk back to the statue and Lox shouts into the bullhorn]

General Lox: Attention people, Attention!

[The crowd turns their heads and face Lox shouting in the bullhorn]

General Lox: [Shouting] We have a dire emergency! The Word Of Blake is planning to invade our planet by tomorrow! We have to prepare if we are going to stop them from trashing our planet!

Person 1: What if he's right!

Person 2: Than we will all be endangered!

[Chaos and confusion starts overwhelming the people. Just as the people almost begin to lose their minds, Lox quickly shouts back into the bullhorn and catches everyone's attention once more]

General Lox: [Shouts] Listen people! We can unite as one and stop the Word forces! We have brave, young fighters such as this person next to me.

[Lox points to Jor-El standing next to him]

General Lox: [Shouts] This brave fighter came from a distant land in order to lend a hand in fighting the Word. Who will join the fight against these menaces to society?

[The people look on with blank faces]

Person 1: Hey, I was with you up until that part you said about joining!

Person 2: Yeah, me too! I'm no good in a fight!

[The crowd starts to disperse and in a desperate move to keep the crowd from leaving, Lox climbs onto the statue and yells]

Jor-El: Lox, you're going to hurt yourself!

General Lox: [Shouts] Nonsense, I rode some of the most dangerous creatures this planet has to offer. Is this what your ancestors what have done in the face of danger?

[The crowd turns back around and gathers around the statue Lox is sitting on]

General Lox: Our ancestors sacrificed their lives so that we could have a better future. And now the Word comes and try to tear down a society we worked so hard to build this wonder place we call home. I don't know about the rest of you, but I don't plan on living the rest of my life living under a new world order!

Person 1: He is right! I'll join you and help in anyway I can!

Person 2: Me too!

Person 3: Count me in!

General Lox: [Shouts] So are you with me?

[The crowd shouts and cheers for General Lox. Suddenly Lox loses his balance and falls off the statue and lands on his back. Jor-El quickly runs over to help Lox out]

Jor-El: Lox, are you ok?

General Lox: [In pain] I think I broke my funny bone!

[Scene ends]

 

Scene 5: Kazar's Sanctuary (A few minutes Later)

 

[After the past 30 minutes, Raven wakes up inside of Kazar's house on his couch with her hands and feet tied up with rope and two men walk up to her]

Man 1: Oh look, the princess woke up!

Raven: [Angry, Shouts] Who are you!

Man 2: Oh she can talk! That's so wonderful!

Raven: [Angry, Shouts] Wait to I get out of these ropes. I'm going to beat your brains in and claw your eyes out of their sockets and use them for earrings!

Man 1: Oh, she is a tough little one isn't she?

Man 2: Yeah, hehehe!

Voice: Enough! Leave!

[A mysterious person enters the room and sits across from Raven in a single chair and hides his face in the dark shadow of the corner where he is sitting at]

Voice: You must be one of those annoying fighters I heard so much about!

Raven: I guess you must be one of those people who are going to find out what happens when they tie me up.

Voice: I won't be so sure of that!

Raven: And why is that?

Voice: Because… You are going to bring me my prize!

Raven: What are you talking about?

Voice: I am Thestalos leader of the Word Of Blake!

[Raven is shock and stunned]

Raven: What are you doing here and where is Kazar?

Voice: I'm here to see that everything goes as planned and as far as Kazar goes, bring him in!

[The two men bring Kazar in]

Raven: Kazar, are you alright?

Kazar: I'm so sorry!

Raven: What do you mean?

Voice: I paid Kazar to, let's say spy on your little group!

Raven: [Shock] What?

Kazar: I'm sorry, but I'm a mercenary who was hired by Thestalos. I'm truly sorry!

Voice: Oh stop feeling sorry! You did a good thing here today. You delivered me a fighter I can use to get the others and than you brought me my power source! I'm very happy. Now there is the matter of the key that I want and you have. I'm not going to rush and try to get it from any of you, but I'm going to let your friends find it first, than that is when the fun begins.

Raven: Wait until the others find out about this, they'll won't stop until you and your lackeys are gone.

Voice: [Smirks] hahaha! Kazar if you're done here you can take your earnings and leave. Baroc, show our former employee the door.

Kazar: You lied; you said no one was going to be hurt!

[Baroc drags Kazar out the door]

Voice: I did say no one was going to be hurt didn't I? All well, there has been a change in plans.

Baroc: See ya chum!

[Baroc throws Kazar out the door]

Raven: What do you want from me?

Thestalos: Nothing that you can give me, but your friends will! Hahahaha!

[Scene ends]

 

Scene 6: Kenrensky's Ship (twenty minutes later)

 

[Jor-El, and Lox return from the city]

Kenrensky: So how did your mission go in the city?

Jor-El: Well besides Lox falling off a statue and needing medicine, I say all went as planned! The citizens will meet us tomorrow at noon at the exact place where the invasion is supposed to happen. How are things on going over here?

Kal-El: There hasn't been any radio chatter since you guys left.

Kal-El: Hey, where is Shu-Wa and Kazar? I thought they would be back by now!

Kenrensky: I don't know; I'll try to contact one of them on their transceivers.

[Kenrensky talks on the radio and attempts to contact Kazar and Shu-Wa]

[10 Minutes Later]

Sky: Well?

Kenrensky: No use!

Jor-El: [Worried] Something could have happened to them! I'm going out to find them!

Sky: Wait, I'm coming with you!

General Lox: I'm going too. I know where Kazar's hideout is!

[Scene ends]

 

Scene 7: Kazar's Sanctuary (Ten Minutes Later)

 

[Jor-El, Sky and Lox arrive at Kazar's Hideout and enters the doorway and finds the place a mess]

Sky: Its like a tornado went though here!

[Lox looks down on the floor and picks up a map that was left on the ground]

General Lox: What is this?

Jor-El: Let me see!

[Jor-El and Sky looks at the map]

Jor-El: It's a map of Kurtia and look!

[They look at the red dot that is circled on the map]

Sky: It says “Site of Second Key.”

[Jor-El, Sky and Lox look at each other with disbelieve and rushes out the door and fly quickly flys back to the ship]

[Scene ends]

 

Scene 8: Back at Kenrensky's Ship (A few minutes Later)

 

[Jor-El, Sky and Lox returns back in a hurry. By this time, Camra has returned]

General Lox: You guys should take a look at this! Oh, Camra you're back. Any news from our old chaps?

Camra: As a matter of fact yes I did. They said they'll help us under one condition.

General Lox: And what is that?

Camra: That we take them the Buffet!

General Lox: That's it?

Camra: Hey its either that or we baby-sit them for a week!

General Lox: Those grease balls are always looking for some attention!

Sky: [Coughs Sarcastically]

General Lox: Oh I almost forgot. We found this map of Kurtia lying on Kazar's floor, but no sign of Kazar or Shu-Wa anywhere.

[Lox gives Kenrensky the map]

General Lox: And there is a red dot in the center of it that says “Site of Key.” So what do you think?

[Kenrensky thinks for a minute]

Kenrensky: Well, if this dot indicates the location of the second key than we have our first lead, but my question is how does Kazar know about this?

Kal-El: Things aren't adding up! First Kazar and Shu-Wa go missing, than a map of the location of the second key. Apparently someone is trying to tell us something.

Jor-El: Looks like we have some big problems!

[Scene ends]

 

Scene 9: Thestalos's Ship (Later That day)

 

[Thestalos returns to his ship with Raven aka Shu-Wa unconscious and being carried by Baroc. Thestalos gets in contact with Zarbog back on Thestria]

Thestalos: I trust everything is going according to plan?

Zarbog: Yes Master. Those fools won't know what hit them!

Thestalos: I want you and Baroc to pay a visit to them and destroy them tomorrow during the invasion.

Zarbog: But master, isn't us destroying them going to hinder our plans?

Thestalos: It doesn't matter, which way it goes! We kill them now, they won't be a problem to us later, or we let them live and find all the keys before us and than steal it from them. So you see this plan can go either way. Now be ready by tomorrow!

Zarbog: Yes Master!

[Scene Ends]

 

Scene 10: Kenerensky's Ship (Later That night)

 

[It has been over 6 hours since Raven and Kazar went missing. The others are back at camp preparing for tomorrow's invasion. Jor-El however is sitting at the camp fire starring with the same look he had when he and Kal-El was at Master Lee's dojo for the first time]

Kal-El: Hey bro, how are you feeling?

Jor-El: I don't know! I guess I'm afraid!

Kal-El: Afraid what?

Jor-El: I'm afraid I'll never see Shu-Wa again!

Kal-El: I didn't know you felt that way about Shu-Wa!

Jor-El: I don't want to lose another close person again!

Kal-El: Don't worry; she is as tough as nails! She could take care of herself. We'll going to find them in the morning!

[Jor-El is deeply depressed]

[Scene ends]
