Born Again: The Journey

A.n: Whoops, So for all the confusion on the Second chapter, Hmm... If something confuses anyone please let me know what it is so I can try to clear it up, I don't want to lose anyone that's reading this because of slight bit of confusion. (AKA Ask Questions I'll be more then happy to answer them as long as I can answer them without putting in any spoilers)

As to the spelling and Grammar mistakes on the last chapter, I had wrote half of that chapter really late at night, Plus my grandparents computer didn't have spell checker or grammar checker on there so I couldn't check for mistakes. I am back home now though so I can spell check my fics and make sure there right.

I did notice as I was rereading I made a mistake in this sentence...

"Mitchell and a few of the others "god" let out a loud roar of laughter and Jiro just sighed shaking his head."

That was suppose to be Kings not Gods, I was thinking one thing and typing anther again.

She felt dizzy, the whole world seemed to be spinning around and around in circles before her very eyes and all she wanted was for it to stop so she could sit and try to remember all that had happen, if she wanted to remember what had happened.

She had so far remember the steal cold blade of the knife up against her skin, Aries worry in the other room, and the simple slice that was offering her release from her father and life.

She remembered hitting the floor as everything started to fade to black, Aries had appeared beside her as soon as she felt the link between them weakening, How Aries had bent her head a little, like she was praying, and then she was surrounded in this bright light, so bright that it seemed to drive back the darkness that wanted to claim her.

And then everything vanished and she had appeared in this Solid bright white maze it seemed, and there was a voice…

"Where am I?" I whispered to myself silently wondering why I was in a white maze. I lifted my head up slightly and titled it as I felt the wind softly caress my face, it felt nice and light, it felt like I was part of the wind.

"…Keaira" I blinked and started to glance every which way wondering where the voice had come from when I realized it was from the wind, the wind was softly whispering my name it seemed like.

Keaira sighed as she rested her head on her knees. She had just token herself from one problem to anther, and she had realized that after her conversation with the voice…

"Is this Heaven?" I asked quietly as the Wind and Light around me started to take shape into that of a Young woman who looked to be about 29. She had a soft flowing Silvery hair that seemed to never end when in reality ended at her knees.

The woman laughed softly and shook her head No.

"… Oh…"

"But then it is neither Hell Keaira…" I looked up at that. If this wasn't Heaven, and it wasn't Hell then what was it?

"Is it Limbo (1)?"

"No Keaira," I blinked confused, She noticed this and decided to explain. "I am Celeste, Goddess of all that is Light, I don't usually do this sort of thing but when I heard the pleas of your friend I took pity…" She stopped there and I knew she had to be hiding something but I passed that aside when I thought of this friend…

"Aries…?" She nodded and I started to cry, I hadn't thought about it then but I missed Aries so much now.

"Keaira, There is one last thing I must tell you…"

Keaira sat up a slightly as the Nurse walked back into the room, startling her from her thoughts, not that it matter anyways, she couldn't remember anymore after that.

"… Have to thank him" Keaira blinked when she noticed that the woman was talking to her.

"Thank Who?" She asked as she held out her arms for the woman to take her blood pressure, she ignored any gasp about the new and old scars from fights with her father when she actually felt like fighting back.

The woman looked uneasy about the cuts and bruises on the arm but let it pass as she continued. "The young man that brought you here."

"Ah, well if by some chance I run into the guy and he recognizes me I'll be sure to do that"

***In the Market***

The market was swarming with people from all over Terra; you could hardly move threw the crowd. Booth Vendors shouted out random prices of Items every few seconds, and every now and then some one would start shouting Thief.

It was like something you'd read in a fantasy novel, and that was exactly what it reminded Keaira of, a fantasy novel, or one of those RPG she'd used to participate in before her life went so down hill.

`Speaking of Which, I wonder if dad noticed that I'm not there anymore' Keaira thought with a small grin as she slipped her hands into her pockets and hummed a tune from an Cd she had heard at a friends house, before long she started to sing the song forgetting her troubles, and her worries, just paying attention to the song.

"…Isn't anyone trying to find me, won't somebody come and take me home…

It's a damn cold night, trying to figure out this life…" Keaira snapped out of her song as she felt something press hard against her back, it felt like a knife almost.

"Now if you just be nice and slip me all your gold I might let you live," A slightly harsh voice whispered into her ears. Keaira bit the bottom of her lip and let her eyes wander around her surrounding wondering if anyone noticed, No one did, which meant she was in trouble.

"I don't have all day you know" The guy said as he pressed the knife harder against her back. Keaira let out a small gasp of pain and tried to think of something to do.

"Gomen?" She asked switching over to Japanese hoping the guy didn't speak it he didn't look Japanese anyways.

"You know… I don't think she speaks English," A voice said. It had this tone of laughter and joy to it and Keaira let out a silent breath she had been holding.

"And you are?" The man asked taking the knife from Keaira back and turning around to face a guy who looked to be about 17.

"That's for me to know" The guy replied as he pulled up his shirt some and showed a long sword that was attack to his belt. The guy looked up from the sword to the guy and started to back away before running off.

Keaira backed turned around to run from the new comer but found she couldn't due to the fact he was holding onto her arm, she looked up at him and gave a startled gasp as she noticed his eye color, they where that of an Icy blue.

He blinked down at her; confused as to what she was gasping at, he wasn't holding onto her arm tightly, not to his opinion anyways, but maybe he was stronger then what he'd thought.

"Could you please let go of my arm now sir" Keaira asked snapping him from his thoughts, he hesitated for a second not sure if he should but finally complied letting go.

"I'm sorry," He said as lifted his hands behind his head and looked around him, seeming to be searching for something. "Wanna go sit down over there on the bench?" He asked as Keaira nodded and they started off towards that.

"Names Orion by the way" Orion told her as he sat down on the bench and position himself in a comfortable position.

"My names Keaira by the way" Keaira told him as Orion nodded and leaned his head back against the bench.

"… So… How did you end up in the woods?"

"Excuse Me?"

"You don't remember?"

"No… I remember waking up in a Hospital, I remember everything before I passed out…" She left the sentence hanging at that, seeming to loose herself in thought, before she jumped up and smiled at Orion. "You must be the guy the Nurse was talking about, the One who took me to the Hospital?" Orion nodded and smiled.

"Yep, I woulda stayed to see how you were doing once ya woke up but I had get somewhere" Keaira shrugged, she could of cared less if he stayed or not.

"S'ok, Sooooo Orion…" She started, deciding he was friendly enough that she could get information from him. "Could you maybe… You know, tell me where I'm at, I'm not from around here and I'm a little lost and confused."

"You're In Cadian, One of the five main kingdoms of the realm of Terra"

`…Terra…' Keaira thought silently to herself, where had she heard that name before. `I guess it doesn't matter…'

"Are you okay Keaira?" Orion asked as he waved his hand in front of Keaira face.

"Nani?" Keaira asked snapping out from her thoughts, and looking over at Orion.

"There you go speaking that Language again, you really aren't from around here are you" Orion stated, rather then asked. Keaira blushed slightly at having slipped, she had really stopped using any Japanese since her mother died, and she had thought she had forgotten it.

`Guess you were wrong Keaira' She thought to herself as she noticed Orion was still talking. She scolded herself on tuning him out, she really had to stop with that but she was so used to doing it when he father decided he wanted to just call her names for the night.

"… So that's why you should be careful,"

"Err Okay" Keaira said trying to not sound confused but failing miserably.

"Why don't you come back with me to the Staran kingdom, my mom might be able to help you out… She not really from here either" He gave this secret kind of smile and Keaira nodded accepting the offer not really knowing why she trusted a man she had just met.

Ya know, I was rereading my Prologue and I noticed something, I said that Ookami disappeared along with Keaira ><' I forgot about that. So… I'm gonna think about what happened to Ookami while you people aw over how I wrote on Heck of a long chapter! ^^

I'm not sure when the next chapter will be out, I wanna get at least two more chapters out on Realm (And think about where the fic is going) and I need to get at least one out on "Learning to Drive" Before I get killed. (Rw Fans Read Please!)

So… Fair Warnin' it could be any where from a 1 to 3 weeks.
