Fire and Ice: A Prince Zuko and Sokka Fansite...Catch-22...

Iras: Who wants more implied ZUKO (boy) x SOKKA (also boy) screwing!
Dracken: (raises hands and waves eccentrically)
Iras: Ok, I'll fit that in somewhere for the fun of it.
Dracken: Avatar: The Last Airbender and all related charachters belong to people
who aren't us!
Dracken: On with the story!
(Zuko’s Castle, Morning of War)
“Lord Zuko, the flying bison and Earth Nation ships have been sighted on the
horizon, they are expected to arrive in less then an hour,” said a firebender as
Zuko and Sokka entered the throne room, adjusting their armor and clothes
correctly.
“Meet us at the front lines in five minutes,” Zuko said. The firebender nodded
and ran out of the room. Zuko turned to Sokka.
“Are you sure you want to do this? Some of the people you fight will be your old
friends,” Zuko asked. Sokka nodded.
“I am sure,” Sokka said confidently. Zuko smiled lightly before opening the door
for Sokka. The two left and entered the front lines.
“Lord Zuko, Highness Sokka,” the same firebender greeted. Zuko nodded in
acknowledgement before standing on the podium placed on the side of the war
lines.
“Fire Nation! This is the last battle we will ever truly fight! Although their
will always be small rebellions, with this fight, we could guarantee that the
Fire Nation rules forever! The Avatar and nearly all of the remaining benders
that oppose us are on those ships, ready to attack! We are near even in troops,
but there are some on that ship who are merely warriors, not even skilled in the
department of bending, we can take them out! The Avatar, his girlfriend, and
Kyoshi Island’s Head Warrior, Suki, are left to us. Bumi, King of Omashu, is one
of the strongest you will have to fight, by far the most skilled Earthbender
alive. Other then them, the others will be simple to defeat. The bison should be
taken down early, same with Bumi. Once the more difficult are taken down, the
others will fall easier. Victory can be ours. Work in teams to defeat the harder
ones. Work alone to defeat the small fry. Fire Nation, we will win,” Zuko said
and stepped down from the podium. Sokka gave them two thumbs up and mouthed
“Good Luck!” before following Zuko to the front lines.
(On the front of an Earth Nation Ship)
“Hey Guys! This is it; we could end the war here! I mean, if we beat the Fire
Nation, we can all live in peace again! That would be great, that’s what we all
want! Zuko and Sokka are the toughest guys to beat, especially since they will
probably be tag teaming in all the fights. Katara and me can work on fighting
them, probably more ‘cause they are Lord and Highness of the Fire Nation.
Whatever. Anyway, do your nation’s good! Unless, of course, you are a
firebender, in which case, do the world good!” Aang said from the top of the
boat to the crowd below. He went down to Katara and the head of the boat.
“Are you sure you can do this? We will almost HAVE to fight Sokka, and he is
probably the Highness, we might not even be capable of letting him…” Aang said
but couldn’t find it in him to say live.
“I know, but the world is more important,” Katara said as she looked at the
troops of firebenders readying to fight them when they arrive.
“He is still your only living family… unless of course you count Zuko,” Aang
said. GranGran had died a few months ago, Sokka and Katara were informed a month
ago. Their dad had died in the war.
“Aang, I have lived with you for over two years now, I consider you more family
then I can Sokka. Even though I spent my whole childhood with him, these past
two years were the most influential in my whole life and he was there for about
twenty minutes of them,” Katara said.
(20 Minutes Later)
The Earth Nation ships halted a bit before they reached Fire Nation land. The
earthbenders created a path towards the Fire Nation land that they all walked
across, lead by Aang and Katara.
At the point where the bended Earth met Fire Nation land, Aang and Katara
stopped. The firebenders, lead by Zuko and Sokka moved up to stand face to face
with them.
Sokka looked at Katara, still feeling regret for having to be against his last
blood relative, but he knew he loved Zuko more and couldn’t bear with himself if
he were to fight him.
“Avatar, I see you arrived,” Zuko said as he looked down at the
fourteen-year-old Aang.
“You didn’t chicken out yourself Pr--- Lord Zuko,” Aang said.
“Before we fight, Sokka, did you really marry Zuko?” Katara asked, unable to
control herself from asking the question.
“Call me Highness Sokka. You are dating Aang, so either way, one of us will
leave this permanently in sorrow, I apologize now for that sister, but it’s the
only way this war can go,” Sokka said. Zuko nodded and stepped back to his
troops, as did Katara and Aang.
There was a moment of silence before Sokka looked into Katara’s eyes. They
looked for a moment before yelling in perfect unison.
“ATTACK!”
(Author Notes)
Iras: My battle scene skills are limited, so you’ll have to work with me during
the next chapter, other then that, we finally had Katara and Sokka see
eachother.
Drack: We still need to know what you want, who wins? Who dies? Do Katara and
Sokka fight?
Iras: NOTE THERE WILL BE CHARACTER DEATH IN THIS STORY! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
