Endless Rain:

Prologue

Rain. It never rains in Traverse Town.

Frowning, I didn't bother to grab a jacket - a little water wouldn't kill me. As I stepped outside, I slightly flinched. I hadn't seen rain in such a long time, I had almost forgotten what it felt like.

"Hey, Sq-"

"It's Leon" he cut me off, crossing his arms around his chest in an arrogant manner. I ignored his remark, and continued to speak.

"Have ya seen Sora 'round? It's getting dark out,"

"..Yuffie?"

"Yes?" I replied, raising a brow.

"It's always night in Traverse Town," the brunette retorted back, flashing a weird look in my direction.

"YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN!" I yelled, annoyed. He smirked, and pointed his gunblade in the direction of second district.

"I saw him head over there, why do you care?" he snapped. I ignored his question, since, after all, I was the world's greatest ninja. I didn't have time for HIM. Because I'm just so awesome like that.

"SORA! Get your spiky-haired ass over here!" I yelled, as the doors to first district slammed shut behind me. A cool breeze passed by, making the rain feel even chillier. At this point, I was beginning to regret leaving my jacket at home. Shrugging it off, I slid down the stair rail, and headed towards third district.

"That's strange…this area is usually flooded with heartless," I muttered, looking behind my back. Nothing. Twitching, I decided I needed to stop being so paranoid.

HISS!

I spun around, fully alert. To my surprise, it was just a little shadow heartless. I chucked one of my ninja stars at it, almost laughing as it disappeared. But something…wasn't right.

"Oh my god.."

Ending Notes: Don't worry - this is just the Prologue - that's why it's so short ::nods:: The chapters will be a whole lot longer then this. And, if you're going to review, don't be like "LyK oMg I hAtE tHiS pAiRiNg U tOtAllY sux!!1:, because I could really care less. Although, CC is perfectly welcomed ^^!

Oh, and if for some reason, you can't tell...the italics (besides the opening sentence) mean flashbacks.
