Chapter 1- Memories
Flashes. Smiles. Voices. Memories.
I can't remember. I'm trying, but its no use. I hear words, voices, talking. But I don't know what they are saying or who they are. People looking at the camera, flashes, and then laughing. Who am I? Where am I?
Suddenly my eyes fly open.
All I see is blue. Blue, endless skies with white clouds drifing though the emptyness.
I remember that much. I sit up and notice I am laying the tall grass, at the edge of a light forest next to a highway. It's early in the morning. As I look around, I remember things.
Trees. Clouds. Sky. Road. Love. Hate. Life. Death.
Of all things, I can't remember my... name. My family. Past, everything. I rise wearily and look at the red liquid spilling down my arm.
Then I begin to walk. ino the forest, weaving around trees and legs brushing in the soft grass and moss. I think The liquid has dripped onto my white skirt and across my blue short-sleeved tee shirt. The shirt has a logo on it, But I can't remember...
Suddenly I fall. Facefist into the grass, unable to use my arm because of the liquid, I rise up and keep walking. The sun is shining and it's a beautiful morning.
I wish I could remember. As I walk and wander, all I can remember about anything are flashes, and being alone. I'm still alone. I'm lost.
White. Black. Loss. Hope. Wind. Water. Tears. Memories.
Suddenly there's a new road. It's not a highway, Just a road. I veer on to it and follow it for what seems like hours. Nothing comes to me.
All of the sudden, there's some kind of reasuteraunt/hotel on the road. It's got a long front porch and a deck on the back. A breeze picks up. I smell salt water. Yes, right below the deck is about ten yards of soft tan sand, and then the endless Pacific Ocean. My eyes grow wide.
Ocean. Tide. Preformance. Play. Happiness. Screams. Death.
I walk into the front lobby and use my shoulder to open the door. There is a wood desk and a man with dark hair and beard sitting there smoking. He sees me and looks very surprised.
"My god, child!" He exclaims. He lifts one of his huge hands and points at me. "You've got a huge cut in your arm!" He cries. I glance at my arm for the first time. It is soaked in the red liquid. All of the sudden it hits me like a gun being fired into my head.
Blood. Pain. Fire. Screaming. Agony. Loss.
The pain flooded into me at that very moment, and I screamed and lurched my hand up to my arm. I felt like I was falling. But it hurt so much, like millions of knives stabing into every second I was awake. Luckilly, I hit the floor, and everything sparked, then dimmed to deep blackness.
Author's Note- Yeah, it kind of makes no sense right now but once I get more into the story and more into the details I guarentee it will make more sense and that the chapters will be longer.
