Chapter 7: Finally Happy

***Author's note: First of all, I wish to say thank you to whomever
review my work I appreciate it. Rock on... lol...Yeah... Anyhoo, this
might be the last chapter to this tale. But, don't worry I already
have the next umm what's that word... Oh yeah the sequel, I guess you
could call it, started. This is dedicated to my loyal fans and hangers
on...lol.*

*P.s. this more follows chapter "On Second Thoughts." *

Cloud stood in and awe struck state unable to believe Tifa was
standing alone on his doorstep in the rain on her wedding day. His
large jade like mako eyes were fixed on her smaller, brown ones. He
still couldn't believe that she was there. He tried to form words
nothing came out. It was as there was a fence in his mouth hindering
words from escaping.

"C-Cloud, not to sound rude but can I come in its kinda wet out here."
stated Tifa.

"Uh yeah, duh, where are my manners." he said stupidly. Cloud moved
aside letting Tifa pass by brushing against him a little. The
slightest touch of her made him go mad inside. She stood shivering and
wet in his dark living room. Cloud walked over to her and felt her
shivering.

"Here I'll get you a towel." Cloud offered. Tifa turned and smiled.

Cloud hurried into his bathroom and snatched a clean, light orange,
beach towel from the closet. He walked briskly back to where Tifa
stood silently, her lips turning blue and her teeth chattered. He
wrapped her lovingly in the large towel.

"I'll let you barrow some clothes if you wish."

"No, I'm fine now Cloud." replied Tifa as she sat on his couch. Cloud
plopped down next to her.

"So where's um... What's his face...? Mason?"

"Um he went off with a girl who came to our wedding and broke it up."

"Oh... I'm sorry."

"Don't be it's not your fault... It's probably better this way, ya
know."

Cloud and Tifa talked and talk all night long, about their adventures
years before. And eventually feel asleep together still in a
semi-sitting position.

The next morning Cloud awoke with Tifa's head on his shoulder. He
smiled and softly moved her head and stood up. He watched her for a
little while, then kissed her forehead and whispered,

"I love you, Tifa." She stirred a little but didn't awake. Quietly, he
tiptoed to the bathroom. He undressed and stepped into the shower. He
closed his eyes as he turned the water from cold to hot and stood
under it, eyes closed. He let the hot water run down his body.
Suddenly, Cloud felt something cold touch his back. He whipped around
grabbing the thing that touched him. Cloud stood there holding Tifa's
naked wrist. They stood staring into each other's eyes for a while.
Finally Tifa moved into Cloud and their lips met for the first time
and Cloud was finally happy.

The End

Cloud and Tifa Strife were married on February 14^th a week after
their daughter, Charlie was born in Nibelheim next the old wooden
water tower where they made the promise. The Strifes opened a "7^th
Heaven" in Costa Del Sol, where they live comfortably.

Mason and Shirley Andrews married a few months after Shirley
proclaimed her love for Mason. They lived in Mako for years with
they're son, Luke, who was born in November, until Mako burnt down in
a freak accident when they moved to a new city built on the sea name
Balamb.

(Note: a new type of school, which trained mercenaries, titled Balamb
Garden was built over the remains of Mako.)

***Author's note: ::Sniff, sniff:: Do you smell that. Smells like a
sequel. Lol...*
