Sora streched her sore muscles, twisting she survied there surrondings. Blue sky, long swaying grasses, apparently not even a thousend years could change the flat lands, or what they called the Mi'ihen Highroad, it hadnt changed much save for maybe, the ruins of what once was the Basid watch tower.

Tidus toiled up the road behind her, equaly exasted.

"Gees Sora, your like a machina, dont you ever get tired", Tidus panted heavily, " Do you ever rest?"

" I'll get enough rest when i'm dead" Sora replied sullenly, Sora was exasted, but she wasnt going to tell him that, she was having a bad day. Earlier that morning they'd left Luca, but not before she'd been totaly b&*8 out by some woman who'd called her a heathen Al Bhed, apparently her people were even more hated here, then they were in her time.

Funnie, how in this time swirly eyes ment you were Al bhed, back then they just used to be an cool addition.

The wind blew her bangs aside, a peaceful calming breeze that seemed to follow her werever she went, assuring her that there was nothing to worry about. They would be at Rin's travel agency soon, it would be nice to rest her feet and lye back for a while sure the feinds around here werent tough but being with Tidus was. Being around him talking to him, made the last two years seem like some horrible dream, as if nothing ever happend at all.

His ignorance of what was happening, was sadly refreshing, she would have to tell him eventualy, that was the least she could do after all, and Sora had her record spheres with her to so she could show him the truth, rather then give Tidus the watered down version of the story she often told to herself.

But just a while longer, just a little while longer.

Just a little while longer can get you far if you do it right and for Sora it did the trick well, but you can only tell yourself that for so long before your guilt catches up to to. And it did about the time they reached to moon flow.

Her feet seemed to be weighed down by lead, how could she not feel guilty every time Tidus asked about Zanarkand or there mother she dodged the question, and she knew that Tidus noted it every time. Sora felt pitiful, she felt disgusted at herself, why would she want to sheild him from anything, it was his fault for not being there, his fault for not going back, and his fault for coming here in the first place.

True this world had need help, but not more then there's, the human race had nearly ended and the sacrifices she'd had to make to pacify the millions of feinds had taken its toll, and a rather large toll it had been.

Sure in the end she had ended up with thousends of guardians, but still she should never have had to do that in the first place.

Sora's thoughts were interuppted by a rather large tought looking feind, strange thought, it kinda looked like Phunbaba, an ancient feind that had been sealed away thousends of years ago, but that wasnt possible because no human could even purposely unseal it.

Not by accident and not on purpose because that particular feind had been sealed deep within the earth along with the other sarrows as they were called. The eight Dragons of the elements, Doomgaze and Phunbaba, the ten sorrows of there world, sealed away when the distroyer Kefka died by the hand of the twelve hero's.

And yet there this creature was, as if from the ancient book she'd read, a book so old that when she'd found it she couldnt even make out its age. It had been so well praserved that she'd been able to take it home and put it in a her book shelf.

Unfortunetly Sora's deep thought would get her nowhere because it was, running around in circles unforutenly like herself, for the first time in her life she was panicing and for some reasone she didnt know why. It could have been because it was casing after her either way she was screwed because in a split second Phunbaba decide that it was done casing her. It backhanded her into the moonflow and she blacked out.

Tidus whipped the sweat from his face that feind had been incerdably tough, what ever it was. He needed a high potion, but first he needed to chew Sora out for panicing and not helping deffeat it.

He looked around trying to see her without realy moving to much, his back was killing him, " Hey Rikku could you find Sora for me? I need to chugg a Hi potion before I move to far".

" Ok, she should be around here somewhere" Rikku replied, " That thing couldnt have thrown her that far".
