< br> Winry noticed it was 2 in the morning and head downstairs, only to find Alphonse still awake. "Aru-kun.."
Alphonse jumped and looked up.He looked really stressed.
"Al, whats wrong..?"
Alphonse just shook his head and rested his head against his hands."No, it's nothing.."
Winry sat down next to him."You look stressed.."
"I am, really stressed.I'm trying to figure something out.." He said softly.
Winry just looked around the room for a moment."What's wrong?"
Alphonse stood up."Nothing. It's just about your memory, It's really confusing me."
"Why?"Winry asked."You're keeping something from me, I know it."
Al shook his head, then looked down at her."You were in an...accident a while ago, you hurt your head. Ever since then
you're memory has been...uhm...on and off.."
"Why didnt you tell me?" Winry asked.
"We did, plenty of times, but you kept forgetting, so I gave up." Al said.
Winry stood up and walked back towards her room."I'll see you in the morning Al, try and get more sleep."
Great, she was angry again.

Winry watched Alphonse talk to Edward at the train station. He held Estlin with him and handed her to Edward. Ed smiled
and started bouncing her up and down, causing her to giggle. Winry sighed. She was so mad at herself. She was too lost
in thought to notice Edward approaching her.
"Winry.."
She looked up at Edward and smiled slightly, but quickly it faded. Edward gave her a small kiss on the forehead and then left,
giving Estlin a small poke to the stomach before boarding the train. Winry wondered how long he would be in Xing and if he
would meet anybody new and move on. She worried, then forgot when Alphonse pulled her away and back towards the Rockbell
residence in Rezimbool.

"From the way you treated him, he might move on.." Sara said, one of Winry's friends. The friend that had told her about Ed and
Roy."But you never know, he's a nice guy."
Winry sighed."I cant believe i did that.."
It had been almost 2 years since Edward had left. Sara had just gotten back from Drachma and heard about Edward.
"So Edward is single now..."Sara grinned. Winry gaped.
"You..like him...?"
Sara looked at her."Who doesnt? I mean, I feel sorry for you, but now that cutie is up for grabs and I might just head all the way
to Xing to snatch him up."
Winry stood up."d-did you lie to me?!?!"
Sara just looked at her with a straight face."No, of course nooot."She said sarcastically.
Winry smacked her."Why would you do that?!?!"
Sara stood up."If he hadnt moved to Xing, it would be a lot easier to get to him.."
Alphonse walked in."you lied to her so you could take my brother from her?"
Sara nodded, treated Al as if he was stupid."Uh, yeah! Ed is way too nice to cheat on someone!"
Before Sara knew it, she was out on Winry's front steps with all of the things Winry had ever borrowed from her. She just huffed
and left.
Winry slid down and sat on the floor next to the wall. She had screwed up big time, and there was nothing she could do about it.
She started crying uncontrolably. al just sat next to her and rubbed her back.
"Do you want me to call him? " Al asked. Winry shook her head.
"Theres no point, he'll never listen.."
Alphonse smiled."You dont know my brother like I do..."

The phone rang three times before someone had answered the phone.
It was a girl."Hello?"
Winry's breath hitched in her throat and she quickly handed the phone to Alphonse.
"Yeah, this is Edward's brother, did I get the right number?"
--"Yeah, Edwards in the shower right now, we're getting ready to go out."
Alphonse got a look."Going out? Like a date?"
--"Yup! We met a year ago, he said that he was there on business and insisted that he couldnt mess around, but I got him to go
out. Not to mention he had gotten a divorce..do you know that?"
Alphonse nodded."Yeah, i know. She's here right now..."
--"Oh..."The girl said."Tell her I said hi and that Edward is doing okay, but hopes to see her soon, he talks about her a lot."
Alphonse smiled."I will, definately."
--"Edward just got out of the shower. Do you still want to talk to him?''
"No, it's okay, you guys go have fun, I'll talk to him later.."
Al could here his brother in the background."Sakumi chan, we need to get there an hour before the sugery, so go get dressed."
Al got confused."Surgery?"
--Sakumi sighed. "Okay, I lied, I didnt want to worry you, but you should know." she called for Edward.
--"Al..?"
Alphonse smiled to himself."Yeah. What is this about a surgery?"
--He could hear Edward sigh."Uhm, the smoking finally got to me.."
Alphonse began to worry."What?"
--"I need to go get surgery on my lungs, a lung transplant. The smoking is it making it really hard to breathe some days, so
the doctor told me I needed lung transplant or I wouldnt live."
Al looked down."Will you be okay?"
--"The chances of me surviving this is almost 99% now a days, i'll be fine. I'll be home next week too, I was supposed to call
you. I'm going to heal up back in Central, then report to the Fuhrer and ask for a new mission."
They chatted for a while more then Alphonse hung up and smiled at Winry."He's doing fine, he cant wait to see you next week,
and he's got a girlfriend."
Winry sighed."i told you..."
"He's also got lung cancer, so he'll be getting surgery then coming home next week. Uhm...He's bringing Sakumi, his girlfriend
with him."
Winry cringed. That's just what she needed."Alright, fine."
Alphonse smiled at her."You're stubborn"
"Shush,"Winry smiled."We need to organize something for Edward when he comes home!"

okay, i just wanted to get right to the dream. I'm trying to keep the story moving, not to mention it's
hard to keep thinking of things for them to do, im more focused on the dreams than anything else.
