Al walked into Winry's room at noon and found her still asleep. She mumbled something in her sleep, but Al could only make
out his brothers name, something about having to hurry. Al sat next to her and listened. Was it about the incident with his
brothers lungs bleeding? Al listened closer.
"He's going to bleed to death.."
Al sighed.It must've been about Edwards lungs. He nudged Winry."Time to wake up.."
Winry jolted up and looked at Al."Oh, what time is it..?"
"Noon-ish, we didnt wake you up for breakfast, you were sleeping rather heavily. Winry nodded and jumped out of bed."Sakumi
was a bitch.."
Al laughed slighly."Yeah, she only appeared nice at first. When I learned she was using my brother, i was furious." Al smiled
at Winry."Thank you for telling my brother.."
Winry nodded then Estlin came running in."I found a kitty outside!!"
Al beamed."Bring it in!!"
They left and Winry just looked over into the mirror. She was amazed al hadnt said anything about the tears falling down her
cheaks. She wiped her face then got dressed.

"We have to take it to the shelter, so it can be treated."Al said.Estlin sighed, apparently annoyed."Hey, your father would've
said the same thing.."
"That's because he never liked cats.." Estlin grumbled. Al sighed now.
"you're still mad at him..."
Estlin nodded."He left without even telling me where he was going! You know, I know you do!"
Al shook his head."I..I dont know.."
Winry watched the two dispute about Edward then looked around the park. They had all walked to the park with the cat after
catching it. Winry sat on a bench, enjoying the cool breeze on her neck.
Winry watched Al sit next to her."She doesnt know he's..?"
Al shook his head."We never told her, she didnt go to the funeral, and we dont let her visit his grave.."
Winry just nodded and looked down at her hands clutching her dress."Another bad dream about him."
Al listened to her."was it about his lungs bleeding in the middle of that argument?"
"Yeah.."She mumbled quietly. Al left, picked Estlin up and left the cat.
"We should go now, it looks like it's going to rain.."He said to Winry.

Winry sat by the window and watched the rain fall silently outside. Her chin was rested on the palm of her head, her elbow on
the window sill. She layed her head down on the table and fell asleep.

1 week later
Edward slept silently on the couch while Winry put a damp washclothe on his forehead.
"that was really close.."Al said walking out of the kitchen."We got him there just in time though."
Winry nodded and felt Edward move slightly. He was awake now, so Winry smiled at him."How are you feeling...?"
Edward groaned."Like shit..I need to go talk to the Fuhrer about something.." He tried to sit up but Winry stopped him.
"What? No you cant, you just got out of surgery, AGAIN!"
Ed looked at her."That was a week ago, I'm fine now, I promise."
Winry growled to herself.He was such a pain in the ass."then at least let me go with you."
Ed nodded."Fine, whatever.you're such a worry wart, Winry."
The girl smiled at Ed as he slowly stood up.
"It doesnt even hurt anymore.."Ed smirked as he grabbed his keys from by the door."We're going in my 4x4, get in."
Winry went outside and jumped in Edward's white 4x4 truck.It was a nice car, and an expensive on at that. He always
kept it as clean as he could, maybe some paper work here and there, but nothing too bad. In his backseat were toys
that belonged to Estlin, and his military jacket. She buckled up when she saw Ed come outside with his keys and
cell phone. Al followed him.
"will you be okay?" Al asked.
Ed looked at him and nodded."Of course I will, dont worry so much.Besides, I have Winry with me, so it's not that bad."
Al let him go and watched the two leave. He worried a little about his brother, but dismissed it and trusted that he would
be okay.
Ed and Winry started talking in the car about re-marrying.
"That would be great!"Winry beamed. She was so happy that Ed had forgiven her, even after what she had done.
Ed's cell phone rang and he answered it. Winry hated it when Ed talked on his phone while driving. On the other
end of the phone was Sakumi.
"No, I told you, we're done, I dont even want to see your face anymore...."
Winry listened to Edward reply to sakumi.
"I'm not coming all the way to Xing just for that, you can keep it...No, I'm not saying that to Winry...Yes, me
and Winry are remarrying...get over it.."
Winry reached for Ed's phone."You shouldnt be talking while driving Edo-kun!"
"w-winry, dont do that!" Edward said.Winry huffed.
"It's dangerous to do that! Just give me the phone!" Winry reached for the phone, bumping Ed's arm causing
him to steer the car to the side. Edward tried to straighten out but then a semi hit the driver's side of the car, sending
it flying.
Winry groaned. She could hear sirens and see flashing lights. She felt dizzy.She blinked a few times then looked around.
She gasped when she saw Edward, his eyes wide open, the golden hue had faded. Blood dripped down his face from his
head. When she looked at his head, she saw that a piece of glass had gone right through it.

"You were crying and screaming in your sleep.."al said."I was about to wake you up, but I see now you're aready awake.."
Winry sniffed a few times, trying to hold back tears."It was my fault...?"
Al looked at her, confused."What was..?"
"Edward died because of me, not you!" Winry yelled."Why would you lie about that?!"
Alphonse sunk into his seat and looked away."I didnt want you to feel bad.."
Tears filled Winry's eyes and fell down her cheeks."But now I feel even worse! I feel like I put the blame on you!"
Al shook his head."Dont blame yourself, nothing is your fault."
"I hurt my head in that accident didnt I?" Winry asked.Al nodded."It knocked all of the memroies right out of me?"
"the doctor said...that it wasnt likely your memories would return to you, but they did.."Al mumbled. Winry put her head on the table.
"You piss me off."
"I know I do..."

Winry went to bed that night not wanting to say a word to anyone. Instantly she fell asleep, she was just too tired.

Okay, one more chapter to go.I'm getting a little lazy on the story, but that's because i want to get it finished.
