Kimblee honestly didn't know how he still managed to preserve his nonchalance and not feel the overflow if adrenaline in his systems, viewing the gore scene before him.
With his daughter lying dead on the floor, cold and still amidst the viscous pool of red, the devastated parent, clutching his raven strands, his gloves- one arrayed- lying all tussled and blood-soaked beside the frail corpse, bawling so miserably and breaking the silence wrapping the tiny room, all Zolf did was just stand there, a bloodied knife in hand and eyes fixed on her pallid lifeless body.
For once, he wasn't pleased with what he did. Once fuming orbs showed no sadistic pleasure. They were cold and calm, much like the man himself, reflecting something other than hatred or satisfaction. Perhaps it was guilt...theonly guilt he had felt in his life. The guilt of killing what he started to appreciate. A daughter. His daughter.

This just popped into my mind while doing a rp. Also posted in ff.net. Please review! :D
