[ T - Teen: Not suitable for readers under 13 ]

Aya: Okay, I'm going to warn you, this chappy is REALLY short. But I made a side-story FINALLY, so hopefully you don't try to kill me!! ^^;;
Duo: And Kurama and I aren't even in this chapter. RIP OFF.
Aya: Oh shut up. The only reason this chapter is so short is cuz I'm making you have your own chapter, and having Kurama have his own chapter.
Quatre: I'm surprised she actually planned that out. -.-
Duo: *smirk* Low blow, Quat.
Aya: X.x A**holes.
Kurama: *sighs* Such immaturity.
Disclaimer: Aya does not own Gundam Wing, yu yu Hakusho, or any other merchandise mentioned in this story. Thank you.

There is a side story at the end!!!!

Light in the Eyes:

Quatre stepped out of his last class, heaving a sigh. Duo had gone off, saying he had to "take care of loose ends". Kurama would stop by shortly. The blonde boy couldn't help but be impatient; today had really been tiring. He was ignored by some of the student body, but those who bothered to talk to him said he should go make up with Trowa, him and Trowa make such a good couple, Trowa is a really good person, blah blah blah.

It took all of his self-control not to blow up the school--he was surprised Duo hadn't. Not only was he getting impatient, he was getting worried. What if Trowa came up to him? With that look he gave him in homeroom, he wouldn't be surprised if Trowa kidnapped him just so they could talk!

I really need to control my imagination sometimes...he thought dryly.

He was broke out of whatever sadistic train of thought he had as someone tapped him on the shoulder. He knew it wouldn't be Kurama or Duo--they pounce him. He turned, trying to control whatever urge to punch the person if they told him one more time about the holiness of Trowa.

He really needed to go to anger management. Ha ha. Can you imagine that? Future heir to the Winner Foundation going to group therapy with a bunch of psychos. Come to think of it, he could probably drag Kurama and Duo with him...No; they'd get thrown into a padded room with straight jackets on.

That train of thought was cut short as he stared up into an emerald eye. EYE. Not eyeS, but EYE. Which meant the other eye was hidden behind a brown unibang. In the back corner of Quatre's mind, he wondered if Trowa put mousse or gel in his hair for his bang to stay like that. In the front of his head, he was still trying to register the fact that TROWA was standing in front of him.

He must have been staring for a couple of minutes, because Trowa raised an eyebrow. Quatre, brain starting to work, quickly turned around, and was about to move when a solid grip secured his arm. "Let go." Quatre said, his voice sounding desperate. He could tell he was cracking.

"We need to talk." Trowa said firmly. Quatre swiveled around, full kitten-glare in tow. "Talk? About what?! How well Dorothy kisses?!! You seemed to enjoy it!" he spat, earning a shocked expression from Trowa. Quatre looked to the ground, tears starting to brim his eyes. "You could have at least broken it off with me first. I know I'm not that great, but still..." he said, barely above a whisper.

Trowa glared, and yanked Quatre so he could see the blonde's started eyes. "Now you listen to me, Quatre Winner! Don't you ever degrade yourself, especially in front of me!" Trowa yelled. People passing in the hallway looked at them, but Trowa's glare and memories from his fury at the school dance made them turn and run. Trowa dragged Quatre into the empty music room so they could be alone.

Quatre, still shocked and now somewhat scared, sat on top of a desk, staring into Trowa's visible eye. "First off, I did not kiss Dorothy. She kissed me! I was too shocked; I didn't know how to respond. It was like my body just froze on me! Then you walked in!" Trowa said, pacing a bit, and then turning to look Quatre straight in the eye. "Quatre, kitten, I did not betray you. I would never betray you! I never want to hurt you, Quatre!! I love you." Trowa said, whispering the last part.

A tear escaped from Quatre's eye. Trowa didn't betray him! His body trembled a bit. He felt like a huge weight had been lifted from his heart. Trowa kissed Quatre on the lips, full of passion and longing. Quatre moaned into the kiss. They parted, Quatre leaning against Trowa. "I've missed you so much, Trowa." Quatre said. Trowa smiled.

Then Quatre remembered something very important. Memories flashed before his eyes.

//**//

Cold emerald eyes stared at him blankly...

Amethyst eyes that seemed to hold so much inner darkness...

"Without remorse, without guilt, I killed all the people I loved..."

"I guess I didn't understand it. The darkness in everyone's hearts. I didn't think anyone was capable of such evil. I was wrong."

So many scars on the pale wrists...

Quatre broke out of Trowa's hold, eyes widening. "Kurama...he hasn't come yet." Quatre said, voice slightly trembling. Trowa looked away. Quatre's eyes widened more. "And you know why..." he said. Trowa nodded guiltily.

"Where? Where are they?" Quatre asked, voice starting to shake. “Don't worry, they're fine. Well, as fine as they can be. In order to talk to you, Kurama and Duo needed to be distracted." Trowa explained. "Distracted? How?" Quatre asked in puzzlement. "Hiei and Heero." Trowa replied simply. Quatre quickly get off of the desk, hurrying to the door. Trowa caught him before he could go anywhere.

"Quatre! Where are you going?!" Trowa asked. Quatre turned panicked eyes on Trowa. "Don't you get it, Trowa?! This isn't about us anymore! It's about THEM! We have to hurry, they might hurt someone!!" Quatre said. Trowa nodded, and the pair rushed out of the room.

A few seconds later, the instrument closet busted open, and seven people fell out. "OW!! Damn, now my butt hurts..." Yusuke muttered. "Stop complaining and GET OFF!!" Wufei snapped, under the huge mound of people. They quickly got off of him. Yukina helped him up.

"Are you okay?" she asked. Wufei blushed and nodded. "Next time we spy, can we find a better place to hide?" Keiko muttered. Yusuke laughed. "Um, shouldn't we be following them?" Botan pointed out. "Do we even know where to go?" Kuwabara asked.

Silence.

"Split up?" Cathy suggested.

Agreeing nods.

Aya: Review pleez! ^^ Now on to the side story! It's an excerpt from Kurama's past.

In The Eyes ofaChild:

They said I didn't deserve him...

A seven year old boy walked down the dirty street, keeping a calm pace. His jeans and red shirt were ripped, and blood was stained into his clothes and soul. A bloody dagger hung loosely from his grip.

They said I was rubbish, a broken toy...

He slipped into the ruins of a fallen building. Step by step, he drew closer to his destination. With each growing inch, his eyes seemed to make a shift from green to...gold. His flowing, blood red hair swept past him, and you couldn't even hear his steps.

They were right.

He found the burnt out campfire. Next to it was a boy, 15, with long, black hair tied in a ponytail, beat up hat, wearing jeans and a black, long-sleeved shirt. He was sleeping, but cracked one eye open as the younger boy approached. "Whatta you doin' here? It's fuckin' late! Are you out of yer mind?!" the teen snapped irritably, striking the boy across the face. It seemed his eyes hadn't adjusted to the light yet, for he didn't see the blood all over the younger one's face. But he felt the liquid on his hands now.

"What the fuck...?!" he said. The boy slashed open his hand, and the teen screamed in pain. He fell to one knee, cracking one eye open in pain to look at the smaller boy. "What the hell is wrong with you?!!!" he yelled. The boy did not respond, but sliced open the teen's neck. Tears spilled out of both their sets of eyes.

The teen managed a bitter chuckle. "I guess this is...payment...for what I did to...you...huh?" the teen gasped out, as he fell to the floor. "I know...a...sorry just won't....cut it...ne, Kura...ma...?" the teen said, the last words falling from his dead lips. The boy sank to the floor, hugging the dead teen's body.

"I loved you..." the boy choked out, barely above a whisper, sobbing into the dead teen's hair.

"I really loved you..."
