Chapter 2
I was sitting down and then our boat launched onto the shores the gun fire hurt my ears. Then our Sergeant yelled to move off. Then a huge blast landed in front of us it killed another Private. His legs were ripped off and like a ragdoll his body flew I was horrified. I screamed “Holy hell what just happened.” I got no response but just that look that means lets get some revenge.
The Germans were on towers shooting at us so many good men were ripped to shreds by machine guns it was gruesome. Blood and sand was all that beach is. Blood and Sand.
