Kagome walked through the hall of a major concert hall. She could hear someone practicing, and they weren't that bad either. She had promised her friend Sango that she would come and try out for the band that she was in. As she opened the door to where Sango told her they were going to be, Kagome was blown away with the sounds that she heard. It was Sango's band all right! Kagome could easily see her friend amongst the guys surrounding her. They were amazing! Kagome knew that song was the one that Sango had been telling her about. She listened to the lyrics, and felt as if someone was truly speaking to her.

Underneath the trees we watch the sky

Confusing stars, the satellites

As Kagome could hear the chorus come up she sat in a seat near the stage to get a better perspective of the band.

Kagome was aw struck throughout the song and closed her eyes as she hummed the melody of the song.

And in the end when fireflies

Hearing the chorus approaching again, Kagome prepared to sing along to the chorus, and oh man did she ever!

Through the instrumental everyone in the band noticed that they had a visitor with an astonishing voice, Sango was just happy to see that her friend did come. They all finished the song and Kagome didn't even notice that she had been seen.

The song ended and everyone was in aw. Inuyasha stared at the girl noticing that she had some excellent curves. “Sango, is this the girl that you were telling me about?”

“Yea, Inu this is her! Don't you think she'd make a great addition to the band?” Sango questioned hopefully. “Her name's Kagome.” Kagome and Inu stared at each other for a long while, both searching for something in their eyes. “Kagome, this is Inuyasha. He's the lead singer of the band, and the one that writes all of the songs.” Sango informed her best friend. Kagome looked questionably at her friend then at Inuyasha.

“Well, I guess I'll just have to change that if I make it.” Kagome said very proud. After a long pause Kagome started to get a bit annoyed. “Well, can I try out or not?” Inuyasha snapped out of his thoughts and wiped the drool from the side of his mouth. “I guess. If you're as good as Sango says then there isn't any harm in letting you audition. ”Kagome smiled and nodded stating that she was going to start. She grabbed the mike straitened her herself and took a deep breath. Inuyasha studied her some more noticing that she was distracted from being nervous. *Man! She's hot! That outfit meets her every curve. Crap! I need to stop drooling!* Kagome noticing this started smirking and making herself look even better. She brushed her hair out of her face with her hand tossing it back. She was going to enjoy every second of this.

Kagome saw that Inuyasha was drooling now worse than ever. She thoroughly enjoyed this site, then noticing that she too was starting to drool. *Dang! I guess it didn't occur to me until now, he's freakin hot!* She made sure that she looked really hot for the chorus. All of the sudden Sango finally realized what her best friend was doing and winked in knowledge to her. Kagome winked back.

Inuyasha just kept on drooling letting Kag know that she had him tied around her finger. She unzipped her jacket just a little revealing her hot pink tube top underneath. There was no doubt in anyone's mind especially Kagome's that she wasn't gonna make the cut. Sango though had to cover Miroku's eyes that were already bulging out of his head and Ayame had to do the same with Koga's.

As inuyasha noticed that he was playing into Kagome's trap he got up from where he was sitting and walked on stage behind Kagome. The other guys nodded their heads telling Inu to do it, so he did. He put his hands around Kagome's waist and pulled her close. Kagome slightly gasped then realized that just like Inuyasha had done, she was falling into his trap. So she did what any smart girl would've: She leaned into him making him shiver all over. Kagome smiled at this and finished her song.

As she finished her song inuyasha was blown away by her looks and her singing, but he of course didn't show it. “So? Do I make the cut?” Kagome was sounding VERY confident. “Feh. Whatever I guess………….as… I guess as a second lead singer.” “AIIIIIIYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!” Kagome, Sango, and Ayame were killing inuyasha's super sensitive ears as they squealed. “WOW! Kagome I can't believe you actually got inuyasha to give you second lead singer. Do you realize how long Sango and I have been trying that? You are way lucky!!” Ayame was obviously very happy for Kag.

“Yea, well, this is just a temporary thing. If you mess up you're gone. Got it?” Inu spoke but inside his head told him, *Dude you are SO not getting rid of her! She's too hot.* while Kagome's head was doing the talking for her also. * Yes! Yes! I made it! I did it! I can't believe this! Now we can be near inuyasha more and get to know him better and hopefully go out with him in the end! Good going girl! We get to be near the hottie!!!* While these two thoughts kept going in each other's minds they stared at each other. Everyone could immediately see sparks flying between the two and giggled as the two actually started to drool. They both snapped out of their thoughts and blushed like cherry tomatoes!

After practice that day and everyone had left, (well almost everyone, Inu and Kag were still there) Kagome was helping Inuyasha put everything up when all the sudden Kagome tripped over a small box of cords for the guitars and landed on Inuyasha making both of them fall on the ground in the weirdest position. Kagome ended up lying on top of Inuyasha and he had his hands VERY close to her butt. Again they both started to blush. Soon though, as Kagome tried to get up, Inuyasha wouldn't let her. “I…Inuyasha… wh…what are you doing?” Kagome started to get scared when Inuyasha lightly put a finger to her lips.

“Don't worry Kagome, I'm not going to hurt you, I promise. Just close your eyes, ok?” Kagome trusted him and closed her eyes. At first nothing happened and Kagome was about to open her eyes when she felt a pressure on her lips. Her whole body tingled and she knew that Inuyasha was deeply and passionately kissing her. Her mind screamed for her to kiss back…and she listened. She kissed back with so much strength that inuyasha actually almost pulled away out of surprise. When the kiss finally ended, they stared into each other's eyes and stood up. What they didn't know is that someone had been watching the whole time!
