Eyes
She could very easily tell herself that she didn't know what compelled her to not kill the wolf demon. But that would be lying. She was tired of lies.
She knew exactly what had stopped her. That wolf demon's eyes were the same as Inuyasha's. Threatening, immature, yet compassionate. But one thing had set the wolf's eyes apart.
His eyes were trusting. They may not have trusted her, but they did trust those close to him.
The shards in his legs proved that this wolf demon had a good heart. They weren't tainted by the usual malice, which baffled her. She wanted to know how shards could be possessed by a demon and still be untainted.
Kikyo also wanted to see his eyes again.
