Okay I paid InuYasha to help me make this story if I agreed to buy him 2 weeks supply of ramen and I did agree, Kagome also chose to do this if I gave her 70 dollars in which I plan to get for her by aiding others with their work, then give her what she wanted. Kikyo also agreed, since she wants InuYasha to go to hell with her, but instead I gave her two InuYasha’s plushies and surprisingly she was satisfied. Kouga agreed to make a part in this story if I gave him Kagome, unfortunately he’ll only have her for about a 2 weeks tops. Miroku agreed to take part in this if I could help him win Sango’s heart, as for Sango, she wants my help to keep the monk’s hands off her bottom…. Oh and Sesshoumaru he’s agreed…. Personally if I got Rin a little older…. Yes… Anyway.. On with the story.

Kagome had worked in ‘Cathay restaurant’ near her home, so it’d be easy for her, she already had a boyfriend by the name of Kouga, he bought her things such as jewelery and everything a girl can only dream of. Kagome being the kind, sweet, innocent woman she is, accepted them, putting on a fake smile, outside she pretended to be happy, pretended she loved the attention Kouga gave her a lot but…. Inside she felt unhappy like he wasn’t the one for her. One night, when she got home Kouga was there, waiting for her, he had prepared a candle lit dinner, Kagome smiled tiredly at the sight.

“Are you hungry?” he asked.

“Starving, but I’m really tired” she replied.

“I spent an hour and 45 minutes to make this, the least you can do is eat a little” he told her.

“Kouga.. For your information, I’ve worked harder then I usually do for up to 7 weeks now, the least you can do is let me sleep, when you’re not here, you call me every 2 hours at night! I’m tired of that! It’s nice having attention from you but I can’t even take a bath in peace!” she yelled out.

Kouga looked down then back up at her.

“I’m sorry, Kagome…. I..” Kouga began.

“Out….” she said.

“H-huh?” he replied.

“I said out!!!” Kagome yelled.

He looked at her surprised.

“It’s over, get out!” she yelled.

“Fine!” Kouga yelled back, walking to the door.

He walked out, slamming the door behind him. Kagome looked down sadly, she had stopped it before it went further, in a way she felt happy, but in another…. She felt bad for being so rude. Kagome walked to the door, locking it completely, then walked to the table, ate a little and went to bed.

In the morning, Kagome’s alarm went off at 5:50, slowly she got up, turned off her alarm, took a warm bath, got cleaned then got out, as she wiped her soft skin to remove the little water on herself, she thought back to yesterday. She signed, then got dressed.

“Another day at work….” she sighed again.

Once she got at work, her boss, Miroku, asked for her in his office and so she went to see him. Kagome knocked on the door and walked in as she heard him say it’s okay for her to come in his office.

“Kagome, you’ve done amazing work lately and I’ve been thinking of giving you a vacation for 4 weeks to Hawaii, what do you say?” he told her.

“Really?” she asked.

“Yes, really, you deserve it, you don’t have to worry about a thing either, the plane tickets were already paid for, you don’t have to worry one bit, all you have to do is pack some things in suit cases and you’ll be ready for the plane at 5:30 tomorrow morning but you have to get some sleep” he told her.

“Oh, thank you!” Kagome told him as she gave him a friendly hug.

“You know I spoil you..” he said smiling.

“You like spoiling me” she replied sticking her tongue out in a playful manner.

“Go home and get some rest, your off for the 4 weeks and one day” he told her.

She nodded happily, gave him another hug then walked out of his office, returning home.

Kagome sat at the dinner table on her own, eating food she had brought home from work. After eating Kagome rinced her plate, washed her hands and made her way upstairs, she packed all she needed, suntan lotion, two bikinis, 4 short shorts, 5 t-shirts, 3 short skirts, 4 tank-tops, as well as a hair brush, make up, a tooth brush and tooth paste. Kagome smiled, as she began to change into her pj’s.

“I can’t believe I’m going on a 4 week’s vacation! To Hawaii no less” she told herself aloud.

Kagome smiled happily and got into bed, she put her alarm clock at 4:25 in the morning, so she’d have time to shower and get ready, turning off her lamp on the bedside table then covered herself with her blanket and let sleep come to consume her.

At 4:15 in the morning, Kagome opened her eyes, she was excited to go to Hawaii, a little too excited. She looked at the time, sighed and got up, good thing she went to bed early yesterday. Kagome smiled to herself, turned off her alarm and got ready to hop in the shower. Once she was done in the shower, she got dressed in a red knee length skirt, with a red flower colored silk button shirt.

“I still can’t believe I’m going to Hawaii, I heard that’s a real paradise!” she screeched.

Kagome brushed her teeth, washed her hands then brushed her hair and once again smiled at herself. She got her suitcase, got her keys and went out the door.

Kagome was on the plane now, sitting in a first class seat, she sighed happily as she watched others board. She then looked out the window, as the others were getting seated.

“Please remain seated for take off, once in the air we will be sending out waitresses with trays of snacks and drinks, thank you, and have a nice flight” the woman on the intercom said.

After a good 5 to 7 hrs, Kagome had fallen asleep, in her seat, as did most people on the plane, but certain others were reading or having a conversation with one another.

After another 5 hours, Kagome woke up, she really had to go to the bathroom. Standing up and walking to the small bathroom in the plane, she did her business and got out shortly after, then got back to her seat, got comfortable and fell into a light slumber again.

After what seemed like forever, she got to Hawaii, got her luggage and walked out the airport, there was a nice red sports car waiting just for her in front of the air port, with two guys standing next to it. She walked to them.

“Are you Higurashi, Kagome?” one asked.

“Yes, I am” she replied.

“You’re boss Miroku told us that he bought this car for you to enjoy” the other said, handing her the keys.

Kagome thanked them both, as she got in the car, started it up and drove off to the beach with her.. Quite large suitcase, on the seat next to her.

Once at the beach she stopped the car, got out locking the door, went and got her suitcase then breathed the air in.

“This is what I needed” she said happily.

She headed to the hotel on the beach, walked in, walked to the counter and told the woman on the other side of the desk her name.

“Miroku called here and told me you’d be staying here for 4 weeks, lucky you, this is the finest hotel in Hawaii, your room is room 204, second floor” The woman smiled handing her the keys to her room.

Kagome returned the gesture, walked to the elevator and got to the second floor, eventually she found her room. Unlocking the door, walking in the room was white, with a nice king size bed, covered in a red silk blanket, night tables were on either side of the bed, other furniture was here and there, the bathroom was also white but had a first class sink and such.

Kagome giggled to herself, as she took off her clothing, took one of her bikini’s out, a blue one, she put it on and was out the door, with the suntan lotion and the key to her room, but she didn’t forget to lock the door before leaving.

Kagome had went to buy a nice pair of sun glasses, then headed for the beach, she sat on the sand, loving the heated sand on her bear skin, she put suntan lotion on herself, then she noticed a man, on a surf board, he was quite good looking, as he surfed. His silver hair flowing delicately in the air that was produced. Then the man, headed back to the shore, she just had to see him up close, something drew her to him. She slowly stood and walked to where he was headed. When she got to him, he looked at her and smiled, revealing his shark teeth to her, but somehow she wasn’t afraid. Kagome returned the friendly gesture.

“Hello, I’m Kagome” she introduced herself.

“I’m InuYasha” he said in his Hawaiin accent, smiling.

Kagome loved his accent, it was sweet, just as she was about to ask him something a girl ran up to him and hugged one of his arms. She had pale skin, deep brown eyes, long black hair that went down her waist, she wore a white swimsuit.

“I’m Kikyo, his girlfriend” she smiled, telling Kagome that.

“Hello, nice to meet you” she replied.

InuYasha looked at Kikyo and smiled, then looked back at Kagome.

“I was wondering if you could show me… How to… Surf” Kagome told him.

InuYasha smiled.

“I would be delighted, it’s easy, do you have a surf board?” he asked Kagome.

“I thought you were going to teach me” Kikyo complained.

“You never asked” he told her.

“Um… Sorry.. To cause any trouble” Kagome said as she turned to walk away.

“No, it’s alright, she’s always like this” he told Kagome.

She looked back at him.

“Are you sure..?” Kagome asked, the man.

Kagome saw him nod, she smiled sweetly at him, but also saw him blush but it wasn’t very noticeable and thought she was imagining it then walked back to him. He took her hand and walked into the water, with her.

“Come on, get on the surf board, go a little further, just go on it and surf, it’s easy” He told her, putting his surf board on the water.

Slowly she got on it with his help, he took her sun glasses off slowly, letting her know he’ll keep them while she tried surfing, but then he saw her eyes, they were similar to his girlfriend’s only a little brighter. He kept eye contact for a short moment, as she did, then he saw her smile, he returned it. Slowly she swam further onto the water, laying on her stomach on InuYasha’s board. When far enough she slowly, sat up on it, being careful not to fall off, then waited for a wave, one came but it was quite large, but she tried it anyway, her inner instincts kicking in.

Kagome got up on the board, trying to ride the wave but slipped and fell off the board, she didn’t go back up. InuYasha noticed this, quickly swam to where she fell, forgetting about his surf board. Once he neared the place she was at, he quickly went under water, seeing her lay on the ocean floor, unconscious he grabbed her, then swam to the surface. He swam to the shore with the girl on his back and laid her on the sand slowly and gently. Kikyo ran up to them.

“She okay?” she asked, as if she didn’t really care.

“What do you think, Kikyo?” he shot at her.


InuYasha chose to react quickly, he leaned down slowly, causing Kikyo to gasp, only she could feel his lips to hers, only she could feel his love for HER and HER alone.

“InuYasha, what are you doing? Let the life guard to that..” she told him.

But he ignored her, setting his lips on Kagome’s, blocking her nose gently, he began breathing into her a little, then quickly pulled back as Kagome began to cough out water. Kagome slowly opened her eyes, looking up at InuYasha.

“Are you alright.. Kagome..?” he asked.

She nodded slightly, slowly sitting up, he watched her carefully.

“I’m fine… I just.. Need to relax a little.. That’s all..” she told him.

InuYasha smiled, thankful whatever Kami let her live for.… His sake.

“Kikyo, can you let her go under our umbrella?…. Please?” he asked.

Kikyo hated the new comer, Kagome, but she couldn’t say no to him when he said please, it sounded so cute to her.

“Of course dear” she said, helping Kagome stand and led her to the large umbrella.

InuYasha smiled slightly, something about the mew comer, Kagome, attracted him towards her.. Like invisible strings.

‘She smells so…. Sweet..’ he thought to himself as he touched his lips.

InuYasha then remembered his surf board, then went to get it.

That night, Kagome lay on her bed, she couldn’t get her mind off the handsome stranger, she sighed.

“Why can’t I take him off my mind?.. What is it about him that…. Makes him special..?” she whispered to no one in particular.

Kagome slowly stood up from her bed, walking to the balcony, she sighed again.

“.. I wonder.. What he’s doing..” she mumbled to herself.

InuYasha was inside his apartment, on his bed, strangely, his mind was flooded with thoughts of the woman he and his girlfriend met only today. What made her so special?.. He sighed, sitting up on the bed, looked out the window, slowly he stood and walks to it, staring up at the moon. InuYasha looked back at Kikyo sleeping soundly on his bed, she began to look like Kagome to him, he needed to see that girl again.

Making sure Kikyo was still sound asleep, he hurriedly got dressed considering he was in his red silk boxers, got his house and car keys and he was out the door. He got in his dark red sports car and drove off to the beach hoping to see Kagome once again, face to face.

Kagome sighed once more, staring at the ocean in front of her, it was truly beautiful, the moon reflected on the soft water. After a good 10 minutes of standing on the balcony, she was going to lay down in the bed again but then she noticed…. Someone walking on the beach slightly kicking some sand every now and then with his foot, she leaned over a little and squinted… It was InuYasha!

Just the guy she wanted to see. Quickly she walked in, removed her night gown, quickly putting on a black knee-high skirt and a red silk button shirt. Kagome grabbed her keys, ran out the door, of course again, not forgetting to lock the door to her hotel room.

InuYasha sighed, he had hoped she’d be there, he stared up at the moon, not noticing the approaching girl behind him. That is until, she lightly set a hand on his shoulder from behind, quickly he turned making her jump back a little, afraid he might hurt her for sneaking up on him like that.

“Kagome..” he whispered.

She smiled a little, he returned the friendly gesture.

“I was on the balcony…. Of the hotel I’m staying at and…. I was going to bed but then I saw you..” she told him barely above a whisper.

InuYasha smiled at that, he took her hand in his and hugged her. He began to tell himself, in his head that there was something extremely special about her, her looks, her smile, the way she talked.. He felt so close to her in such a short amount of time. And InuYasha loved that feeling when he was with her.

“Do you want to swim?” He asked her.

“I would but I don’t have my.. Bikini..” she told him.

“Then we’ll walk on the beach..” He told her.

Kagome slowly nodded, they walked across the beach talking about nothing and everything. She loved the way he talked around her, she felt happy and felt little tiny butterflies in her stomach slowly growing each time he talked with her. She felt them fly around, as if trying to find the source. Kagome looked at him, as he was looking at the sand talking.

‘he’s so handsome.. His smile his so sweet and full of life.. But the smile he gave me… Earlier…’ she thought as her mind drifted back to that moment.

**Flashback**

InuYasha looked at Kikyo and smiled, then looked back at Kagome.

His smile back then wasn’t, happy nor was it joyful, it was almost….. Desperate, desperate for help.
“Kagome?” he asked, looking at her.

His soft voice brought her back to reality, she looked at him.

“Yes, InuYasha?” she asked.

“You seemed lost in thought….” InuYasha told her.

“I was.. Thank you for bringing me back” she joked.

He chuckled lightly that brought a smile to Kagome’s face, she loved his laugh, loved his smile…. Then it hit her, could she be in love with a man she only just met? They talked a little longer but then Kagome chose to leave because it was quite late. InuYasha offered to walk her back to the hotel and she accepted his offer. He walked her to the hotel she was staying at for the time being. They said their goodbyes and she went inside, to her room. Laying on the soft comfortable bed she was on earlier and covered herself with the red silk blanket.

The next morning, Kagome woke up with the soft rays of the sun through the window, slowly she stretched to wakes her sleeping muscles then sat up on the bed, wiping the sleep from her eyes. Kagome stood up, then walked to the washroom, removes her clothing and hopped in the shower. As she cleaned her hair, she began drifting back to yesterday.

**Flashback**

“Kagome?” he asked, looking at her.

His soft voice brought her back to reality, she looked at him.

“Yes, InuYasha?” she asked.

“You seemed lost in thought….” InuYasha told her.

“I was.. Thank you for bringing me back” she joked.

He chuckled lightly that brought a smile to Kagome’s face, she loved his laugh, loved his smile.

**End Flashback**

She already began to miss him and she just saw him yesterday. Kagome rinced her hair, then cleaned her body, rincing it afterwards. Once out she dried herself, then got dressed in her favorite dark red silk shirt, with a black knee-lentgh skirt that frizzed out a little at the ends. Kagome put a little light blue eye shadow, with a little bit of rose lipstick, she wasn’t a big fan of make-up so she didn’t put a lot. Once she was done, she smiled at the excellent work, then walks out the door holding her keys, she locked the door to her room and headed out.

Kagome slowly walked the little street, stopping at a few windows, seeing a display of many things but one stopped her. A display of little puppies, she liked the white fluffy one with a twirling tail, it was pawing at the glass, tilting it’s head at times and even running around excitely. Kagome giggled at the little puppy.

InuYasha was walking in the street, for a while, then he saw her, he saw Kagome in front of a store giggling, at that he smiled, how he loved her giggles. Slowly he walked up to her, enjoying as she kept giggling at what seemed to be a little puppy. InuYasha stopped behind her quietly, look at the puppy with her as he seemed to try and play with Kagome.
Kagome suddenly felt a presence, slowly she turned around to meet with someone’s chest, as she looked up she noticed it was InuYasha. He looked down at her and smiled.

“How are you, Kagome?” he asked her.

“I’m.. Fine.. Thank you for asking and you?” she asked in return.

“I’m fine too” he told her.

‘…. Now that you’re here.. With me’ he finished in his head.

Kagome smiled sweetly and he returned it just as sweetly.

“Do you want that puppy, Kagome” he asked.

“Well…. I always did want a puppy….” she replied, looking at the ground.

InuYasha smiled at this, slowly he lifted her chin so she could look at him, he also noticed the little blush on her cheeks and knew it wasn’t make-up.

“I’ll get you the puppy if you want it….” he told her.

InuYasha chuckled, walking in the store, holding her hand. He walked to the counter and asked to see the puppy in the window. The man went and freed the white little dog, letting Kagome holding him(yes it’s male). She smiled as the dog licked her cheek a few times, the she choose that she wanted the puppy. InuYasha knew this, he went to get a leash, two metal bowls, a ball and dog food, even a doggy necklace, he bought everything that he got, then walked out the store as Kagome held her puppy in her hands and giggled as he licked her cheek.

“What will you name him, Kagome?” he told her.

“Well…. I was think of calling him Ya--” she began, then noticed she was talking to him, the man she dreamt of yesterday.

He looked at her and blinked a few several times, looking at her.

**In Kagome’s dream**

InuYasha and her, were walking on the beach, having fun, running to the water, that went a little lower then their knees. Laughing and smiling, then they watched the slow sunset. And Just before the sun completely set, InuYasha leaned down about to kiss her softly but then…. She woke up….

**End Dream**

“Kagome?” he told her.

InuYasha’s voice once more, brought her back to reality, Kagome shook her head and looked at him.

“I’m sorry.. I was stuck in my thoughts again.. Weren’t I?” she asked.

InuYasha smiled sweetly.

“It’s fine, I just tend to over-react sometimes” he told her.

“I tend to be lost in thought a lot, don‘t I?” she told him.
InuYasha chuckled a little, but nodded.

“Yes, you do but it’s not always a bad thing” he told her.

Both of them walked to the hotel, walking in while the woman behind the counter wasn’t looking, they walked up the stairs instead of taking the elevator. Kagome walked to the door, unlocked and opened it letting InuYasha in with the food bag and such, and she holding her new puppy. InuYasha put the things on the counter as Kagome shut the door and let her puppy on the floor.

“Thank you InuYasha” she suddenly told him.

“Whatever for?” he asked.

“Well, thank you for saving me beck at the beach last time when I drowned.. Thank you for being so nice to me and thank you for buying me a nice little dog when you didn’t really have too..” she told him.

“It was nothing, Kagome, besides you’re really nice to me” he told her.

“Really? How so?” Kagome asked him.

“Well… For one.. You never yelled at me, secondly you talk sweetly….” InuYasha told her, beginning to walk towards her.

Kagome felt her heart quicken as he approached her, slowly feeling his hands placed upon her hips, their lips were about to touch when they heard a bark. Then another, taking away their moment. InuYasha pulled his head away and looked at the puppy, then sighed.

“Sorry, Kagome but I have to go, Kikyo’s probably worried about me, she’s waiting at the beach for me..” he told her.

Kagome let out a sigh too and nodded in understanding.

“I understand, InuYasha, plus I know she’s your girlfriend, you should spend time with her, not me.. We’re only friends, aren’t we?” she asked.

InuYasha didn’t know how to answer her question, he didn’t know about that himself, but he said what came to his mind.

“I guess you’re right Kagome” he told her in a sigh.

InuYasha bid her farewell and went out, to see his girlfriend Kikyo. Then she locked the door to the room she stayed in, thinking back to what he said and what happened, her mind drifting to what he said.

**Flashback**

“Well, thank you for saving me beck at the beach last time when I drowned.. Thank you for being so nice to me and thank you for buying me a nice little dog when you didn’t really have too..” she told him.

“It was nothing, Kagome, besides you’re really nice to me” he told her.

“Really? How so?” Kagome asked him.

“Well… For one.. You never yelled at me, secondly you talk sweetly….” InuYasha told her, beginning to walk towards her.

Kagome felt her heart quicken as he approached her, slowly feeling his hands placed upon her hips, their lips were almost about the crash when they heard a bark. Then another, taking away their moment. InuYasha pulled his head away and looked at the puppy, then sighed.

**End Flashback**

“Did he really say that or did I imagined it… ‘Well… For one.. You never yelled at me, secondly you talk sweetly….’.. Did he honestly mean that…” she told herself.

Then the puppy barked again taking her out of her train of thought. Kagome looked at him, as he sat innocently in front of her, wagging it’s tail. She couldn’t help but giggle at this.

“You hungry little fellow?” she asked, walking to the counter.

Kagome took a bowl, filled it with water then put it on the floor as the puppy began drinking the water she filled the other bowl with food, then placed it on the floor. She walked to the living room, sitting down on the couch, she sighed at her mind once again drifted to a certain man.

The day came and went, Kagome laid on the comfortable bed, her mind thought of the same man again, she sighed as she stared out the window, the puppy she had named Snowy, because of his extremely pure white fur, laid in front of Kagome’s stomach considering she lay on her side, he had curled into a little fluff ball, slowly letting sleep come to him as his master lightly pet his soft fur.

Kagome sighed again making the puppy wonder why she did that so much lately, then he smelt it, she was in love with the man that had got him for her happiness. That man wanted to be with her, but something, no, someone stood between the two, could it be another female? Could it be that the other female desired the same man as his master and also desired his master’s misery? If so then he would see to it that the other female would suffer greatly for even the thought of his master’s misery.

Kagome stared out the window, petting Snowy’s gentle and soft fur, images of InuYasha filled her mind and refused to leave. She sighed again, she didn’t know how to feel exactly. Kagome was at a loss, once more she sighed, slowly allowing sleep to come to her, letting her dreams of InuYasha take over. Snowy too soon, closed his eyes and allowed sleep to consume him.

InuYasha stood by the window, as Kikyo slept on his bed, he couldn’t get his mind off Kagome, of the one girl who seemed to respect him more then anyone, even.. Kikyo. Images of Kagome began rushing through his mind, over and over again, he growled lowly in frustration. What was she doing to him? What made her so high and mighty above all others? Never did Kikyo made him feel like he does toward Kagome.

He felt like he was possessed, possessed by her beauty, her voice, her smile…. Everything about her triggered something inside him that made him happy. Made him feel welcomed, he thought back to earlier.

**Flashback**

InuYasha sighed, he didn’t know what to do, he wanted to tell her something but what? He silently cursed in his head, thinking about Kagome, the image of her would not leave his mind. He sighed once more then headed to the couch, there he lay, staring at the ceiling, these past two days he felt more and more distant from Kikyo. Almost as if he didn’t want her anymore. His mind shortly drifted back to the once girl who was beginning to take his heart, painfully slow. He lightly placed a hand where his heart is.

“Why do I feel this way?” he asked himself, barely above a whisper.

The next week came and went, Kikyo had began to notice InuYasha was putting a barrier in front of his emotions for her again, she tried to kiss him at times but he kept refusing lately. Kikyo only pouted once he kissed but he cheek for a mere short moment, then sighed in misery watching him surf, one of the things he loved doing most. Kikyo also noticed that InuYasha was spending more and more time with Kagome other then her, she didn’t like it, she didn’t like it at all.

Kikyo had to dispose of her and very soon before she accepted him into a loving embrace then kiss him passionately as he slowly but surely returned her action. Just the mere thought of Kagome kissing her InuYasha pumped her anger more and more, glaring at the mere thought of them being together. InuYasha was hers, she wouldn’t let Kagome take him from her, not ever. InuYasha returned from his surfing, walking to her slowly, staring at the sand beneath his feet, then he heard her beginning to talk.

“InuYasha, dear..” making her voice sound innocent and sweet.

Slowly InuYasha gazed up at her.

“I think you shouldn’t see Kagome anymore at all” she told him.

His puppy ears perked up at that.
“Why the hell not?” he asked quite harshly, but didn’t want to sound that harsh.

“Well you barely spend time with me, anymore” she pouted, letting tears threatening to fall from her eyes.

InuYasha stood still, his ears lowered slightly, even though he began to feel distant, to not love as much, he still cared very deeply about her. Slowly he sat next to her, cooing soft words of caring to her just as Kagome slowly approached them, Kikyo sat on InuYasha, lap and kissed him tenderly, still allowing little tears streaking her face, InuYasha eyes went wide slightly at the sudden action. Kagome felt a tug at her heart, but tried to ignore it by looking a the waves gently caressing the sand, little tears threatening to form in her eyes but stopped them by blinking them away.

Kikyo inwardly smirked, deepening the kiss pretending not to know Kagome was there, she wrapped her arms loosely around his neck. Kagome looked again, feeling yet another tug at her heart, she slowly looked away and began walking away, as Snowy tried desperately get free from his leash, growling and snarling at the girl kissing the man that his master wanted so badly. But Kagome noticed this and picked him up, cooing soft words in his ear trying to calm him, walking away from the kissing girl and the stunned boy. InuYasha suddenly pushed Kikyo away.

“What in sevens hell’s do you think you’re doing, Kikyo!?” he shouted.

“I wanted to kiss you, InuYasha, I have not felt your lips to mine in a while, I missed the feeling” she said simply.

InuYasha went quiet, looking around finding that Kagome was walking across the street, her back facing him, holding her puppy as if she had been here moments before. He looked at Kikyo, inwardly sighing, he sat down on the towel staring at the sand before him. InuYasha sighed, then looked at Kikyo and shook his head, Kikyo saw the sadness in his eyes, that made her heart shatter. She saw him stand and walk to the water again, she knew he was once again going to surf, to ease his mind.

The weeks went by quickly, Kagome had but one day left in this place and she’s been avoiding both Kikyo and InuYasha, telling her problems to her puppy, at night just before falling asleep. She cried, while telling her puppy, but he comforted her with a few little licks on the cheek, that is when she smiled through her tears and rubbed the base of his ears.

The next morning, Kagome went to take a shower after feeding her little puppy and after her shower she laid on the couch, watching the television as her puppy joined her at her feet. Ever since she last saw InuYasha and Kikyo, she’s been avoiding them, for a good reason too.. She was falling in love with him, if only he didn’t have a girlfriend.. He would be hers forever. But if fate had brought InuYasha and Kikyo, and it both brought them great happiness, so be it.

But what has been bothering her is that someone kept leaving a rose at her door lately and nothing else, strangely she kept them, she sighed as she kept watching the television. Flipping through the channels boringly, she sighed again. Even the shows she liked before didn’t make her smile. Kagome sighed once again for the eighth-millionth time that morning, the comfort of her puppy helped just a little with smiling, but her aching heart would not stop aching.

Kagome stood up, walking to the balcony, looking down, thinking she heard InuYasha call her name but it was only her imagination, tears threatened to overcome her, but she blinked them away. Lately she didn’t go to the beach, she knew they’d be there somehow. Kagome chose to ease her mind with yet another shower, but since she had washed both her hair and body, she chose to sit in the shower and cry to herself.

Snowy walked in the washroom, since she had forgotten to shut the door and sat by the tub combined shower and tilt his head a little. He could hear the sad cries and whimpers of his master, he vowed silently to make the other bitch pay for her actions, making his master sad this way was NOT acceptable. Snowy went straight for the balcony, letting out a small bark then a dog-like howl, letting other dogs know about his master’s pain, any dogs who may be near. About 10 howls was heard of others, offering their help, Snowy once again released a dog-like howl letting them know what they should do.

One black golden retriever, was brave enough to disobey his master, to help another, she, yes she ran quickly to the location of where the smaller dog, Snowy, had told her to go, the beach, pulling her master along. The black dog ran through the beach following the instructions the other dog gave her, then spotted a woman with black hair to her waist and a white swimsuit on. She followed the woman’s gaze to the water, spotting a man with silver hair, making his way back to shore on his surf board.

The dog barked at the silver-haired man, as he to a close on the shore, InuYasha could almost understand, the female dog who was in front of him, he didn’t know where he learned to understand dogs or how but, he knew that the dog was barking to him about Kagome. InuYasha lowered his ears, staring at the sand that his until he felt a dog mouth on his hand, the dog was growling lowly, commanding him to follow. InuYasha complied, the master’s dog tried to stop her but she wouldn’t obey, she kept dragging the man, InuYasha, with her then she stopped at a hotel. The hotel Kagome is currently staying at, he looked at the dog next to him but she gave him a small push forward with her nose.

“No.. She hates me…. I can’t….” he whispered to the dog next to him.

InuYasha heard the dog whimper loudly, then noticed she called for Snowy and sure enough, the puppy came walking to the balcony. Snowy barked and growled down at InuYasha letting him know that if he didn’t came up that he’ll make sure to hunt his dreams every night. InuYasha lowered his gaze to the ground, hearing Snowy bark that Kagome’s been in the shower crying her heart out.

“I-I…. I.. Can’t..” he whispered softly.

InuYasha began walking away, but the black dog stopped him.

“Please… Let go….” he told the dog.

She only whimpered, but her master told her to let go but this time she obeyed and the master apologized, InuYasha let him know it’s fine and slowly walked back to the beach.

InuYasha walked up to Kikyo slowly, staring at the sand, Kikyo noticed this and it made her heart shatter, she hated Kagome but what she hated more, was to see him sad. Both Kikyo and InuYasha packed their things and headed to his apartment. Kikyo chose to have a long talk with InuYasha once in his apartment.

“InuYasha I know how you love Kagome…” she said quietly.

InuYasha’s eyes went wide slightly when she said that.

“I know I should be mad but I’m not exactly…. I feel kind of relieved….” she continued.

“Kikyo….” he began.

“No, InuYasha.. Let me finish..” she said.

Once Kikyo saw him nod silently, she continued.

“I know how you look at her and how much love you hold for her…. I’m sad that you’ve gone distant from me as a lover but I know you still care for me dearly as a friend.. And that’s why I’ve decided to choose for you since you didn’t quite choose yourself….” she told him.

“Kikyo, I..” he began again.

“No, InuYasha…. It’s okay, I’ll get my things in the morning..” she told him, taking her car keys quite quickly and ran out the door.

InuYasha groaned, throwing himself on his couch staring at the ceiling.

“Dammit…..” he whispered to himself.

Kagome on her end, began packing her things quickly, ignoring the barks of her dog, she was still crying her poor eyes out. Trying to cry away her pain and the tugging at her heart. Once she was done, she laid on the bed sniffling, not bothering to wipe her tears away.

“Why did I fall for him?..” she whispered, more to herself then her puppy.

That night, InuYasha went out to a bar, to drink away his sadness and sorrow, taking some shots every little 45 minutes. Then the bartender walked to him, from behind the counter once InuYasha was on his 4th shot.

“Hey, what happened to you?” the bartender asked.

“Well, I had a girlfriend but then this other girl came into my life and well…. Let’s just say…. She has my heart….” he said softly.

“Oh yeah? That sucks” the bartender replied.

“Yeah…. I want to tell, since my girlfriend ended us but.. It’s hard.. You know?” InuYasha said.

“Yes, but my only advice to you is follow your heart, man..” the bartender replied back, as he went to another customer.

InuYasha thought about it, left the money on the counter and left, heading home, he laid on the couch again after closing and locking the door.

“I have to tell her tomorrow” he said.

The next morning, Kagome had her breakfast, drank orange juice, brushed her hair and then her teeth. She sighed sadly, she would have to leave her puppy. Snowy looked at her, tilting his head, she couldn’t help but let a small smile grace her lips.

“I’m really sorry, Snowy.. I…. Kind of wish I could stay, but I can’t..” she looked away from him, tears forming in her eyes.

A little later, she and Snowy went for a walk, but he knew this was goodbye…. He whined to get her attention. Kagome looked down at him, looking like she was about to cry. Both stopped by a light pole.

“I’m sorry Snowy….” she said, kneeling down and pet his head lightly.

Snowy licked her palm twice, letting her know he understands and a tiny smile appeared on her face, slowly she tied the leash to the pole quite tightly, tucking a note on his necklace. He watched her to just that and didn’t run, then let her bid him a final farewell by giving his little nose a little kiss as he gave a goodbye lick on the nose. Kagome smiled just a little, standing, then walking away, Snowy sat there, watching her go, not whining nor crying, he sat there, tilting his head. Finding himself tied on a light pole in the park near the hotel he had stayed with his master.

Kagome took her things, booked out the hotel in a hurry, then drove off in her red sports car, with all her things, she quickly made her way to the airport.

InuYasha walked past the park, then heard a whine, followed quickly by a deep growl, he looked to find Snowy, being looked at by a few people, he knew something was up. InuYasha quickly made his way to Snowy, kneeling in front of him.

“Where is she..?” he asked.

InuYasha got a growl from the puppy, his eyes went wide, quickly InuYasha cut the leash with his claws, picking up Snowy and ran out the back in a hurry.

Kagome was quickly heading get her ticket that Miroku had told her would wait the counter of the airport in Hawaii.

InuYasha ran as fast as his feet could carry him, through the busy street and such, dodging cars and people while holding Snowy.

Kagome took her ticket waiting the plane back to her old life to be ready, she sighed sadly.

InuYasha got to the airport, seeing her car there, his eyes went wide.

“D-damn.. What if she’s boarded already….” he whispered under his breath.

Snowy growled and whined softly.

InuYasha nodded and ran through the doors of the airport, pushing the guards away roughly when they tried grabbing him and kept running, looking for the one girl that had his heart.

“Kagome!!!!” he yelled, getting attention from the people in the airport, but ignored their glanced and kept running, even as the guards chased him.

Kagome thought about the moments she spent with.. Him.. InuYasha but her thought were interrupted when she heard her name…. From a firmiliar voice.

“Kagome!!!!” the voice yelled out.

She knew…. It… Was him…

“InuYasha….?” she said softly, turning around to see him running to her with Snowy in his arms and guards chasing him.

“Kagome!” he pushed himself to run faster, then stopped by her chosen seat.

“Kagome….” he whispered.

When Kagome stayed silent in her seat, he handed her Snowy, slowly she took him.

“I can’t let you leave, Kagome, I love you, before you came into my life…. I thought I loved Kikyo, but I didn’t, it’s now I realize that I love you more then anything in the world, I can’t let you go, so please don’t force me to say goodbye..” he told her.

Just as the guards were to arrest him, she stopped them.

“Please…. Don’t…” she said, setting Snowy on the seat next to her and slowly stood.

“You mean that…..?” he asked, voice full of curiosity.

InuYasha in turn returned the kiss slowly and softly, wrapping his arms around her waist, letting her pulls back if she needed to breath. Kagome pulled back after a minute, tears falling from her eyes, InuYasha slowly wiped them away with his finger, she leaned slightly into his touch.

“Kagome….. I love you with everything that I am.. And I don’t like seeing you cry..” he said softly.

Kagome smiled a little.

“InuYasha, I’m crying because I’m happy.. I’m happy to stay and be with you..” she replied.

As for Miroku, he found a woman to love and cherish, he married her after a year of dating her, and also had a child with her.
