“It will be okay Katie.” Kagome said encouraging. “You've done it a million times in front of the band.”

“THE BAND! THAT'S THE KEY WORD! I'VE NEVER DONE IT IN FRONT OF A LIVE ADDEANCE BEFORE AND DON'T ON DOING IT ANY TIME SOON!”

“Well you gonna hav'ta!” Said Inu Yasha.

“I despise you!” She said giving him an evil glare.

“I hate that glare.” He said backing away from her.

She continued glaring at him all the way until L.A.

Chapter 2

Katie looked around in amazement at the stage and its surroundings.

“Wow this place is amazing!” she said.

“Yeah… Oh yeah, you're solo gig is up first then you meet the manager.” Inu Yasha said with a bit of annoyance in his voice.

“You don't like him do you?”

“No, because he's my---“

Kagome elbowed him in the ribs, “You'll just have to wait to meet him in person before you get anything else. Won't she Inu Yasha?”

“Whatever…” She said fingering a guitar.

“That one's mine,” Inu Yasha said. He picked up a guitar shaped as a coyote, “This one's yours.”

“Awesome!” She said taking the guitar and tuning it up.

Once she had it all tuned she played the song `A Cradle Prayer' by Rebecca St. James.

“See I told you it was a good idea to bring her along.” Inu Yasha said to Kagome.

Katie ended the song and placed the guitar down.

“Here's the song you'll be singing. Try it.”

“Looking for this?” Said a male voice.

She turned around to see a tall person with long silver hair and gold orb eyes, holding her bag.

“Yeah! You know you really should not be snooping around girls stuff?! That's just rude!”

“Oh but I can, I'm your manager. The names Sesshoumaru InuTaisho.”

“You're related to Inu Yasha! He always told me he had a rich step-brother!”

“That's right. My stupid, idiotic broth---“

“Hey! That is my best friend you are talking about! I've known him all my life!”

“But how? You'd have to be as old as him!”

“Okay, I get the point… Sing me a song and maybe I'll consider you staying in the band.”
