Kitsu didn’t hear kaede for the rest of the years because she often stayed home like she was suppose to. While she stayed home she practice still on her hearing and fighting but got bored sometimes. On a Friday afternoon she went for a walk by the river in the woods with chimeku. She was walking on the pebbles and stopped to sit on a rock there. After a few minutes she heard footsteps coming her way and noticed it was her father. When he got closer he went to sat beside her. “Do you know why I became more strict with you” he asked. “No and I don’t want to know” she said. “Well, I going t tell you anyways” he replied and continued “I was strict to you because I wanted you strong and I wanted nothing to hurt you like what happened to your eye sight.” “Why” “Because I want you to protect yourself even when I’m not here” replied her father. “No, I mean why is this happening to me?” she asked. “Because people don’t know what your going to do for them in the future” her responded and continued “ Your going to bring harmony to earth with demons and humans but they don’t know that.” “Dad I want to be human, not a demon” she replied. “Why would you want to be a human” he questioned. “Because there not .......” she couldn’t finish and stopped, but her father looked like he understood. “Here” her father said and handed her something. Kitsu felt a necklace on her two hands. “Your grandmother gave it to me to give to you when it’s the perfect time” he admitted “And I think right now is the perfect time, she also said if you make a wish it will come true try it.” “Ok I wish I can become human” kitsu said. She felt the necklace warming up on her hands until it got hot.
Her father saw a bright light coming from the necklace. Soon the light became to bright for him to see. Kitsu let go of the necklace because it became to hot for her to hold it. Even though the light was bright he still could see the necklace floating in the air. The jewel on the necklace made Kitsu float in the air. Light started to come out of kitsu body and into the necklace. Her father wanted the light to go away badly. It took almost an hour when the light went away and her father found her laying on the ground. Her bandage that was around her eyes disappeared and her hair color changed. She didn’t have her ears of a wolf and her claws anymore she looked like a human. Her father picked up kitsu from the ground and took her home. When they got home, her father went to talk to her grandmother. Her father gave the necklace to her mother-in-law. “Here” her father said and handed her the necklace. “Did she use it” her grandmother asked. “Yeah but she used it to turn human” He said. “Yes but it didn’t talk all of her powers so you can say she is a half demon” her grandmother replied. “Half demon” he responded. “She is like in the middle of the half demon and demon”her grandmother replied and continued “The necklace only took 1/4 of her powers because she had too much power.” “So why do you need the necklace back” her asked curiously. “ Because if another full demon or a half demon gets the necklace the full demon will get powerful and the half demon turns into a full demon but a little powerful” she said and continued “And if a human gets it she or he will turn to a full demon straight.” “And what are you going to do with it” he asked. “ I’m going to go bury it in the ground” she replied and left the room. When she finally woke up but she still didn’t opened her eyes
Her father entered the room and sat at the side of her bed. She turned to her father. “What happened” Kitsu asked but at the same time she hadn’t opened her eyes yet. “I don’t know exactly but you turned into a human” her father said. He didn’t want to tell her the truth because he wants her to be happy. “How did I....... Oh I see it was the necklace wasn’t it”“Yes the necklace turned you into human and your grandmother said it also brought your eye sight back so now you can see, try it” he said. Kitsu listened and opened her eyes. She went to look in the mirror to see how she looked. She was surprised by what she saw. Her eyes turned to a different color Instead of being the color blue-green as it was once it turned to a full blue color. Her color is brown but no eyes on top of her head. She saw that she didn’t have claws but the only her eyes were still the shape of wolf demon eyes. She didn’t care all she cared about was that she looked like a human. She started to jump up and down with happiness and went to hug her father. Her father now couldn’t tell her the truth that she still isn’t human, that she turned into a half demon.
