Inuyasha heard that four more times before he woke up looking for the person who had woke him. He looked to his left and that's when he noticed that Kagome was gone.
"Kagome" he called out as he rolled over on his side

"I'm out here" came a soft voice from out on his balcony he got up and ran his hands through hair as he walked up beside her and wrapped his arms around her so that she was facing him.
"Kags" she looked up to him her eyes shining like the stars in the sky
"what's wrong" she looked up at the sky and than shook her head
"nothing why wo-
"don't give me that why did you wake up" he asked as he kissed her neck
"I was thinking" she said leaning into him
"about what"
"about us" she looked up at the stars outside
"what's wrong with us" he asked confused
"you know once we go to this sch-
"kags don't"
"no let me say this" she looked at him to see if he was going to stop talking
"I don't want to hold you down and I don't want you to feel like you owe me from a childhood promise" he didn't say anything and she took that as his answer and tried to get out of his hold but he wouldn't let go.
”Kagome to you love me" he said it quiet and she almost missed it almost
"yes I do with all my heart" the tears she was holding back broke though one by one
"I would never play with your feelings like that and would kill anybody who tried you understand" he asked as he lifted her chin so he could see in her eyes to see if there was any doubt, but he couldn't find any."

"Ok yashie I trust you I just-" she started off into the dark
"you know what"
"what"
"you see that tree over there" he pointed to far left side of the yard
"yea"
"have you seen it before" and that's when it hit her
"its the same tree when we was little and we first came to see where I was moving to" Inuyasha went and got a sheet from the bed and walked back over to her
"get on"
"what"
"get on my back" she did as she was told as he leaped off the balcony and into the highest branch. He covered them and moved so that she was in between his legs and one of his legs was hanging.
"What made you think that" he asked as he made invisible circles on her arm
"I don't want to get hurt again that's all" she said with a sign.
"I would never do that to you I love you to much" he said as he looked down at his angel
"you know what we could do" she asked looking at the sky
"what is that"
"we can make up our own songs for the try-outs tomorrow"
"ok but I can't promise you nothing"
"ok just close your eyes and when I stop you start I already got the first part"
"ok" she closed her eyes as she began to sing.

We were strangers starting out on a journey
never dreaming what we'd have to go through
now here we are and I'm suddenly standing

Before she could open her eyes he began to sing

They locked eyes for a moment before they both started to sing

they smiled at what they did but she started again but with his help this time

And as the last words came out they both opened there eyes
"did we just do that" Kagome was looking at inu and he was looking at her
"baby I think we just made up our own song a good one at that!" kagome leaned up and planted a breath taking kiss that got a little deeper than she had planned for.
When they broke apart both of them were trying to catch their breath and smiled.
Inuyasha got back to his room and laid a sleeping kagome down before going back out on the balcony looking at the half moon thinking to his self.
'Am I willing to give up on all the girls at a school I have not even went to yet for one girl'

`The one girl who we would die for'
he turned and looked at her and grinned 'hell yea'
and with that he climbed in bed next to her and fell a sleep.
