Author's Note: After careful consideration and several attempts at a revision, I have made the executive decision to remove this chapter from Sword of Supreme Conquest entirely.
 
Reading it over I felt like I was digging the angst ridden spoon into the reader's heart unnecessarily. Sometimes I think there can be a thing as too much angst in a fic, and this is one of those times. This chapter didn't move the plot ahead in any way, nor did it do much to develop the characters. It was more filler than anything else; something I wrote to get over a severe bout with writer's block.
 
Please don't feel jilted that you've missed out on something critical because I assure you you haven't. I'd like to invite you to move ahead to the next chapter. It contains a few light-hearted scenes and a fresh take on a new pairing.
