Chapter 2Who are you?

Last time: Kagome's mom and grandpa died and she was left to stay with her brother at the shrine, Their father who had once left them came back to take care of them, inuyasha just might come to see what's taking her so long…. If I don't feel evil just kidding!!

(Feudal era)

“I don't think you should go get her inuyasha” Miroku started at a vain attempt to stop the stubborn half demon

“Hmph why's that” Inuyasha asked trying to get this over with quickly so he could go

“She probably has a good reason for not coming back, you know kagome…she wouldn't worry us like this unless she had no choice!” Miroku:

Sango: “miroku's right, something might have happened, giving her no choice of the matter causing her to stay home without telling us” said as she picked up kirara and walked out of the hut

“Well what if she's sick or hurt or getting hurt I have to go make sure she's ok!!!!!” Inuyasha worried franticly with scenarios of what may have happened to her running threw his mind

“Looks like your in love my friend” Miroku said calmly taking a sip of his tea.

“Shut the hell up” Inuyasha barked denying the truth he had accepted so long ago.

“Its ok inuyasha everybody but kagome can see it” Miroku said again this time smiling cockily at his friend

“Yahhhhh you're so sad can't even tell the women you love you that you love her, what a wimp!” Shippo stated arrogantly looking up from his coloring only to receive a punch in the head for what he had said and to see miroku get the same treatment

“Shut up!!!!!!!” inuyasha yelled walking out ok the small hut

“I don't give I'm going to get her”

Miroku and shippo both sighed in defeat and went off in search of sango.

Inuyasha walked out of the hut to see the sun right above him it was about noon as he walked to the sacred tree and stood in front of it, thinking about when he first met kagome and all that happened since then and he thought to himself

`I can't love her were to different I'm a hanoyu and she's a human priestess from the future she's to good for me she deserves better' just then another thought began to plague his mind he began to think about what sango said

`Something might have happened or something could be wrong so she had to stay'

“God what if something did happened to her” he thought aloud and began to run as fast as his legs could carry him and ran to the well without thinking another thought, he jumped in.

(Back in the future back a couple of hours to the beginning of the day”)

 

“Wake up stupid an start you're chores” Evila yelled into the room pounding the door hard enough to break it.

(A/N Evila is kagome's step mom find the hidden word it her name lol)

“I'm up Evila” Kagome yelled weekly pulling herself of the bed. She considered it lucky that her dad and step mother let her keep her room the way it was no mater how mush evila wanted to turn it into a gym, only because her brother had asked if they could keep the house the same for the memories it held. Lucky her dad actually loved his son unlike his daughter who he didn't give a crap about.

Kagome got up fixed up her bed cleaned her room; she got the clothes she cleaned in and went downstairs to get breakfast ready. It was a hot summer Monday there was no school to worry about for the next couple of months which had bin a load of her mind. Sadly sota hadn't done to well the last year and had to go to summer school for the first bit of the summer. She finally reached the kitchen, grabbing all of her ingredients and putting them in arms length she began to cook.

An hour later she finished

She had made toast, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, bacon, cereal, pancakes, and waffles with who knows how many drinks

“Guess I'll have to skip breakfast again today” she said to her self with a sigh she picked up the sponge and began washing the dishes as sota entered the kitchen

“Hey kagome you up already” Sota asked out of concern for his sister

Kagome: “for a couple of hours now and breakfast is ready it's in the dining room”

“Ok…um kagome” sota looked up at his sister worry struck all over his face

“Yes sota” she answered without looking away from the dishes

“Did you eat anything yet” Sota asked already knowing the answer

She turned to sota and just said cheerfully

“Nope not yet not really hungry yet but I'll get something later I promise” she said putting a fake smile on her face

“Yah right just like you did yesterday” he said sarcastically

“Sota what are you talking about” Kagome responded dumbly acting as if she didn't know what he was talking about.

“You know what I mean you barely ever eat any more and you look horrible” he hated seeing his sister like this she looked so broken. It had bin hard since the death of their guardians, and it didn't help with the healing posses seeing your sister starve herself like that, looking at her now he could barely recognize her.

“Sota you're over reacting I'm fine and I promise I'll eat something” Kagome shot back quickly trying to make him believe it.

“Fine” he said joining his dad and step mother in the dining room, Kagome quickly finished the dishes she went up stairs to clean up.

She then fixed everyone else's beds cleaned the rooms and finished vacuuming upstairs every one else had already left, her dad and evila went to work and sota went to summer school so she went down stairs and cleaned the entire shrine top to bottom. She was done a bit early so she thought she would make the lunches then start cleaning the basement early and she might be done all the work quickly so she could relax for a bit but still the little time she had to relax and sleep she spent dreaming of inuyasha. When kagome finished making everyone's lunches-who knows why but her father and evila always came from work to eat lunch at home and they called her like every hour to make sure what she was doing and so you can see how she was never able to go back to the feudal era she was like a prisoner or a slave of some sort- she took all the cleaning supplies downstairs to the basement and started cleaning

(An hour later)

Her dad an evila had come home and just began eating when inuyasha came threw the well an decided to be civilized in some way took the back door instead of climbing threw the window walked into the dining room to see two strange looking people looking back at him and well…….

Who the fuck are you and where the hell are the higurashi's?” Inuyasha yelling looking around for any sign of kagome

John (kagome's dad) stood up and yelled right back “who the hell are you to intrude into our home and ask us questions”

“I sure as hell aint answering you now where the hell are the higurashi's” Inuyasha as he started cracking his knuckles in anger ready to rip this man in half

“We are the higurashi's” John replied in a as-a-matter-afactly voice

“No your not” Inuyasha exclaimed `who the fuck are these idiots' he thought to himself

“Inuyasha!!!!” sota had just gotten home to his surprise inuyasha was there, First thing he thought was `yes!! Now I have someone to play videogames with'

“Sota you know this young man” John asked looking back at his son

“Hey kid your still a higurashi right” inuyasha asked getting a nod from the bewildered boy

“Good at least I know I'm not going crazy” Inuyasha sighed in relief

“Yah I know him he's in love with kagome” Sota smiled happily at his dad

“WHATTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!” Inuyasha screamed at the top of his lungs

“Oh really if he's really her lover why wasn't he at the funeral?” John asked wondering who this man was

“Funeral?” Inuyasha asked looking at the kid

“He didn't know kagome never told him” sota's voice began to shiver and he hadn't even told him anything yet

“Kid who died? why didn't kagome come back? What the hell happened? And who the hell are these people?” Inuyasha demanded to know what the hell was going on

“This is my dad and my stem mother about a month and a half ago there was a car crash three people killed the driver ….” Sota began crying trying to sob away all the pain “the other two people were gramps and mamaaa!!!” and he started crying away in his palms trying to hide it from inuyasha

“Don't worry kid if you hide your tears you'll regret it in the future” Inuyasha trying to comfort the kid as much as he could

“How would you know?” John asked glaring at him

“I kept it in and I'm still regretting it”

Inuyasha didn't know it but kagome had herd the entire thing from behind the wall and she began to feel the tears running down her cheeks she walked in front of the of the door way and inuyasha turned around instantly at the sent of her tears

“kagome” Inuyasha whispered, suddenly kagome ran into his strong safe arms hanging onto his robe crying, he held her close and let her cry even though her tears were like daggers to him and after what seemed like forever she stopped sobbing she looked up at him giving him a nice warm smile and then she fainted in his arms

“Kagome? Kagome!?!? KAGOME?!?!?!?!!?” Inuyasha howled as loud he could looking down in his arms.
