When I look at you,
I see a love so true,
That my eyes swell with tears,
In front of you.
To you I am dirt,
But you hold my heart in your hand,
Graceful you are,
Grateful you are not,
For your eyes show no warmth,
Kick dirt at me?
Will you to understand!
I meant no harm,
But your hand.
Do you not accept?
Shall you stomp your refusal in my face!
Leave you, o’ wretched wench,
For my heart is broken,
And torn apart.
You leave me with small breath,
Winded from my sudden death,
Bleed me of the red that stains me,
Renew me with the blue blood remaining.
Your blood is black,
As is your heart.
I shall not rest! Nor depart!
