Chapter 2

 

“Okay, it's a new day and part 1 begins now” Kagome said to herself as she step through the door

 

“Who is that?”

 

“Is she a new girl?”

 

“Wow she looks hot”

 

“I think it's Kagome”

 

“Kagome, Kagome”

 

“Hey, Sango” Kagome

 

“Wow I like the new look” Sango

 

“Yeah, it's amazing what makeup can do” Kagome

 

Kagome's hair was on the side with a low ponytail and silver bando. She wore green eye shadow, mascara, pink lip-gloss and silver hoop earrings and bangles to match.

 

“Well thank you I thought I should try something new and I guessed it worked” Kagome “Miroku or Maryah get to school yet?”

 

“Maryah is not here yet but Miroku should be around here somewhere” Sango

 

“Isn't that him talking to the girl over there in the brunette section” Kagome pointed to a boy bowing down to a long haired brunette as he lift her hand and kissed it.

 

“What the hell?!” Sango

 

 

“I'm sorry to interrupt, but please excuse me” Sango took his ear and dragged him away from the girl.

 

“Oww Oww Sango!!” Miroku

 

“Kagome, Sango, and Miroku” a girl shouted

 

“Maryah” Kagome

 

“Morning” Maryah

 

“Oww Oww” Miroku

 

“Whats wrong with him?” Maryah

 

“Miroku was caught flirting with another girl and Sango caught him and drag in by the ear” Kagome

 

“Oh, come walking with me” Maryah held Kagome's hand

 

“Where?” Kagome

 

“Basketball court and oh I like the new look” Maryah

 

“Thanks” Kagome followed her as they walked

 

Basketball court

As Maryah and Kagome walked on the sidelines, there were whistles and jeers from the boys. On the court the boys were playing against each other, shirtless against shirts. As they watched the game, Kagome spotted a strang of silver, when she did find the owner she started to blush furiously. There stood Inuyasha, as he stood there waiting for the game to begin, he was on the shirtless team. Kagome's eyes began to wander, scanning his body slowly; fully buildt in all the right places, included was a fully chiseled six pack and his fully tanned skin.

 

“Hey Kagome” Maryah

 

“He's so sexy” Kagome whispered

 

“Kagome wake up” Maryah

 

“What?” Kagome

 

“I don't know who you were saying it to but you just said someone is sexy” Maryah

 

“Uh, no I was saying umm... umm... the sun is steamy. Yeah outside is hot” Kagome

 

“Mmm, Kagome were you you checking out my brother?” Maryah

 

“Nnoo” Kagome

 

“Yes you were” Maryah

 

“No I wasn't” Kagome

 

“Yes”

 

“No”

 

“Yes”

 

“No”

 

“Hey Maryah heads up” a boy said as a ball zoomed at Maryah, she instantly caught it.

 

“Hey I wanna play” Maryah

 

“Alright” Inuyasha

 

“Kagome you wanna play?” Maryah

 

“Alright” Kagome

 

“Okay boys it seems we'll have to cool down this game a bit, just for the girls” a boy with a black ponytail and cobalt eyes.

 

“I don't think so; you can stick with your game” Maryah pelt the ball at him which surprised Kouga

 

“I'll play with the girls to give them extra help” Inuyasha

 

“But you still need more players” Kouga

 

“Nah we even” Maryah

 

“Are you sure about this Maryah” Kagome

 

“Doesn't worry just send the ball to me or Inuyasha” Maryah

 

“Okay” Kagome

 

“Let's begin” Inuyasha

 

“You all have first ball” Kouga gave it to Maryah

 

The match began as Kagome started to travel across the court with the ball. She sent it to Inuyasha who sent it to Maryah. Inuyasha quickly went to the hoop as everyone crowded around him to prevent Maryah from giving or shooting the ball. As she got closer to Inuyasha she bounced the ball high in the air. Kouga and the boys thought this was their chance to get the ball, so they jumped and reached for the ball as it came down. Doing this Maryah ran bounced off of Kouga's head caught the ball and flipped in the air and did a slam-dunk.

 

“Yeah! Go Maryah” Kagome

 

“How the hell did she do that?” Kouga

 

“Well if your head wasn't so big being full of air, maybe she won't be able to bounce off of it” a boy said

 

“The game continued the same way; in the end the girls and Inuyasha won the game. Maryah shooting 10, InuYasha 8 and even Kagome shot 5. Kouga and the boys- 0.

 

“Come on Kagome the bell is going to ring just now” Maryah

 

“Hold on I have to ask a question” Kagome

 

“Well hurry up then” Maryah

 

“Umm... Inuyasha” Kagome stared at him looking for words to say

 

“Yeah” Inuyasha

 

“I was wondering if you all would like to come to the club with me and my friends Friday night.” Kagome

 

“Alright what time?” Inuyasha

 

“9: oo” Kagome

 

“Alright then I'll see you there” InuYasha

 

“Kagome” Maryah

 

“Bye, let's go” Kagome

 

“Oh, by the way Kagome” Inuyasha

 

“Uh” Kagome turned to face him

 

“You look nice today” Inuyasha smirked

 

“Thank you” Kgaome blushed

 

“Lets go” Maryah pulled her arm

 

They ran to the bathroom to freshen up themselves.

 

“So Kagome do we have P.E today” Maryah

 

“Yup” Kagome said putting on eye shadow

 

“We run a lap around the court, stretch and do combat practice” Kagome

 

“You get to choose your weapon right” Maryah

 

“Yeah” Kagome

 

“Alright lets go, I'm done” Maryah

 

P.E

Everyone changed into there games uniform, a sleeve less shirt with a collar and a light blue all round pleated skirt.

 

“What weapon do you use Sango?” Maryah

 

“I use a huge boomerang called a Hikoratsu” Sango

 

“Miroku?” Maryah

 

“A pole staff” Sango

 

“Kagome?" Maryah

 

“She uses a bow and arrows. How about you?” Sango

 

“Sesshomaru, Inuyasha both use a sword and I use two swords but I don't see them here, so I'll have to use the whip and the shiruken” Maryah {I am not sure if that is the correct spell for the star shaped spares}

 

“Everyone we'll be doing team today so please choose your partners of three” the coach

 

“Sango, Kagome I'm with you” Maryah

 

“Okay” Sango and Kagome

 

Group 1 Girls

Kagome Kikyo

 

Sango vs. Kanna

 

Maryah Kagura

 

Group 4 Boys

 

Inuyasha Naraku

 

Miroku vs. Kouga

 

Sesshomaru Hakudoshi

 

“Begin” the coach

 

“I'll be finally able to take your head Kagome” Kikyo

 

“Keep dreaming Kikyo” Kagome sent an arrow at her but Kagura cancelled it with a spear from her fan

 

“Alright I guess it's our turn now Sango” Maryah said as Sango threw the boomerang at Kanna. Maryah decided to jump on the moving weapon as it closed in, Kanna easily dodged it but just in time Maryah used her whip and capture Kanna and bounced her into Kagura who was sent in the way of the boomerang. She was then knocked out into the wall.

 

“Aright time to get Kikyo” Maryah

 

“Hikoratsu” Sango

 

Kagome took four arrows from the back and shot them at her. As Maryah jumped on the Hikoratsu again she disarmed Kikyo with the spears and the four arrows pinned Kikyo to the wall.

 

“Congratulations girls your strategy was great” the coach

 

“You will pay for this Kagome, I will get you back” Kikyo

 

“Keep saying so Kikyo” Kagome walked to the bleachers with Sango and Maryah to watch the boys as Kikyo got unpinned and Kanna and Kagura got treated.

 

“Alright boys begin” the coach

 

“Woo!! Go Inuyasha, Sesshomaru and Miroku” they turned to them and smiled. Kikyo blew a kiss at Inuyasha as he caught it and put to his mouth. Kagome turned behind her curiously to see Kikyo with a big grin on her face. A lot of jealously soon came upon Kagome as she sent glares at her. Inuyasha started off with an attack at Naraku as he easily dodged them. Then Kouga started to run around Sesshomaru and Miroku creating a tornado.

 

“Where is he?” Miroku

 

“Concentrate, they are mostly going to come from the sky since it seems that this tornado was to distract us” Sesshomaru

 

“I understand now, if they distract us with the spear. He blocked the attack and bounced out of the tornado.

 

“Inuyasha over here” Miroku shouted and pointed to the tornado. Inuyasha understood and kept on slashing at Naraku guiding him to Kouga as Sesshomaru fought off Hakudoshi.

 

“Do it now Inuyasha and Sesshomaru” Miroku

 

At the moment at the same time the two brothers slashed into the ground sending powerful waves of energy sending Hakudoshi and Naraku into Kouga's way diverting the tornado into the wall.

 

“Ouch! That had to hurt” Maryah

 

“Wow they did really well” Kagome

 

“Especially the part when Sesshomaru and Inuyasha sent the wave of energy” Sango “They are really powerful”

 

Inuyasha and friends went to the stands.

 

“Good work bro” Maryah did a knock handshake with Inuyasha

 

“You to lil' sis” Inuyasha

 

“Inuyasha you did really great today” Kikyo kiss Inuyasha on the cheek which Kagome to get jealous. “What wrong Kagome you want a kiss too?”

 

“Hell, no I don't know where your lips have been?” Kagome said disgustedly as Kikyo left with Inuyasha

 

“I told him to stay away from her and he won't listen” Maryah whispered to herself

 

“Maryah what's wrong?” Kagome

 

“Oh nothing” Maryah “I have got out of these clothes, I'm going to change”

 

Friday night

The night at the club came quickly as Kagome, Sango and Miroku waited for the others to arrive.

 

Kagome wore a white baby doll, green flared skirt, white wrapped wedges with a white newspaper boy hat and silver hoop earrings and bangles for accessories.

 

Sang wore a pink vest shirt with beaded strings tied across the chest, a denim flared jeans skirt and pink stiletto heels with beads on the straps. For accessories she wore a light pink beaded flower necklace and earrings with bangles to match.

 

Miroku wore a white vest, purple silk open shirt, black long jeans pants and black high cut converse.

 

“I wonder where Maryah and Inuyasha are they're late” Kagome

 

“Don't worry they'll be here” Sango

 

“Maybe there not coming anymore” Kagome

 

“Kagome they'll soon come” Miroku

 

“And speaking of the devils here they come” Sango

 

“Uhh” Kagome

 

“Hey Sango who is that with Maryah?” Miroku

 

“It looks like-“

 

“Chiaki!” Sango

 

“I can't believe she actually ask him out” Kagome

 

Inuyasha, Maryah and Chiaki made it there way down to them.

 

“Yo Kagome” Maryah, wow you out did yourself” Kagome

 

“Of course” Maryah

 

Maryah wore a black laced spaghetti strap shirt, short black jeans pants with black suspenders with silver studs, a black hat tipped low with silver studs and a silver chained belt. She had her hair down and for accessories she wore silver bangles, bangles and black airforce.

 

Inuyasha wore a black west with a black open shirt, long black jeans pants, black airforce, a silver chained necklace and black hat tipped on a side a black scarf tied around his neck.

 

Chiaki wore a white vest, blue open shirt, dark blue jeans pants and white Jordan's.

 

“Alright since everybody is here let's dance” Kagome pulled Sango who pulled Maryah as they headed to the middle as a song called “HEY Mama” from Black eyed Peas began.

 

The girls said as the crowd parted as they watched the girls danced.

The music then changed to Sexy Back and then the fun really started.

 

“Hey guys lets go request a song” Sango

 

“But which one? We need something upbeat” Kagome

 

“How about tambourine?” Maryah

 

“Alright” Sango. Kagome went to the DJ and requested the song.

 

“Shake your tambourine girl go get yourself a whistling”

“Shake your tambourine girl go get yourself a whistling”

It started as the girls began to dance again.

 

“Woo!!” the crowd cheered as three other girls joined in the performance. But as they continued to dance with them, they weren't able to keep up with Kagome and the others with their belly dancing as they shook their hips. The way the girls danced you would think they were celebrity dancers like the new version of Destiny Childs.

 

The girls walked to the bar to get a drink. “Can I have 1 beer, 1 apple martini and 1 Pina Colada please” Maryah

 

“Here you are ladies on the house for the performance” the bartender

 

“Thanks” Maryah “Wow Kagome I didn't realized that you and Sango could dance like that”

 

“Don't ever underestimate us when it comes to dances” Kagome

 

“Hey you know where the guys are?” Sango

 

“They should be around here somewhere” Maryah

 

“Well I think I see Miroku over there dancing with those girls in the corner” Kagome

 

“Chiaki is talking to the brunette over there” Sango

 

“And Inuyasha?” Kagome

 

“He should be upstairs, right there” Maryah pointed to a silver headed boy who was leading him into the crowd pulling him by the front of his shirt.

 

“Oh” Kagome

 

“Don't worry Kagome; he'll come to his senses” Maryah

 

“Maryah” a person wrapped their hands around her waist

 

“Uh” Maryah

 

“Would you like to dance?” Chiaki

 

“Okay” Maryah walked with him

 

“Hey Sango would you like to dance” Miroku

 

“You just came from all up in there from dancing with five girls and you wait now to ask me to dance?” Sango

 

“Sango give him a chance” Kagome

 

“But Kagome what about you?” Sango

 

“Don't worry I'll be fine, you two just go and have fun” Kagome said as Sango followed Miroku.

 

As they left a boy walked over to Kagome.

 

“Well hi Kagome I didn't expect you to be here”

 

“Hi Kouga. Well it is a Friday night, a time free from school work” Kagome

 

“So are you here by yourself?” Kouga

 

“Nah I'm here with friends” Kagome

 

“I was wondering would you like to dance?” Kagome

 

“Um Kouga I don't feel like dancing right now” Kagome

 

“Come Kagome its only one dance” Kouga came closer and closer to her

 

“Aren't you here with someone??” Kagome

 

“Nope it's only me” Kouga grabbed her arm

 

“But aren't you supposed to be with Ayame” Kagome

 

“Yeah but she isn't here right now, I'm just out for fun just like you” Kouga held Kgaome to his chest

 

“Um…mm…mm Kouga” Kagome

 

“I don't think so” a voice said

 

“I don't think you should be here new boy, now leave and mind your own business” Kouga

 

“I don't think so cause she's with me” Inuyasha pulled her away from him “From what I heard Ayame is supposed to be your girl right?”

 

“Yeah so what?” Kouga

 

“I suggest you stick with your girl cause she's in here right now looking for you” Inuyasha

 

“Uhh” Kouga

 

“And this is when we say goodbye and your cue to leave” Inuyasha smirked

 

“Aaargh” Kouga walked off

 

“Kagome are you alright?” Inuyasha

 

“Yeah” Kagome

 

“You don't seem okay” Inuyasha

 

“I just need some air” Kagome walked away leaving a bewildered Inuyasha

 

But as she tuned to head for the door she saw Kikyo coming this way so she quickly changed her mind and chose to stay with him.

 

“Um Inuyasha would you like to dance?” Kagome

 

“Okay” Inuyasha took her hand and lead her to the dance floor as Mariah Carey “We belong together” began. Kagome wrapped her hands around his neck as he did around her waist as he pulled her closer to him, as they swayed.

 

“Where are the rest?” Inuyasha

 

“Oh you mean Sango, Miroku, Maryah and Chiaki, ummm. Well Sango and Miroku are over there” Kagome pointed to two people dancing hand in hand in a small corner. “And Maryah is over there dancing with Chiaki” She pointed to the other side showing Maryah backing Chiaki with his arms around her as they swayed

 

“Um Inuyasha, why did you move from Tokyo?” Kagome

 

“Personal reasons and Social reasons” Inuyasha

 

“So can you tell me the social reasons” Kagome

 

“Well you see, we got in a gang fight at our school between another gang, since the school was mixed” Inuyasha “the fight turned out ugly so we got transferred here because we heard the group were out for us for revenge”

 

“So you moved here where it was safe. Smart, so you' all are keeping a low profile here from every one putting us in danger” Kagome

 

“I don't think they are capable of attacking us out here though” Inuyasha laughed but then stopped to realize that Kagome was staring at him. “Haven't I told you already about staring at me” Kagome blushed shyly

 

“Whats wrong?” Inuyasha

 

“I never realized how brightly colored your eyes were” Kgaome “How comes your brother don't have the dog ears like you and Maryah?”

 

“It seems like someone likes to observe me a lot” Inuyasha

 

“Huh” Kagome blushed more

 

“Sesshomaru and I don't have the same mother. Sesshomaru's mom divorced my father and went for another man, but after a few years, she was, sadly, killed when he was five” Inuyasha explained

 

“Oh I'm sorry” Kagome

 

“Its okay I never really knew her actually” Inuyasha “Now its time to tell me about yourself”

 

“Nothings really special about me. I live in a shrine with my mom, grandpa and my kid brother and cat. I'm a good archer and cook, my favorite foods are vegetable chowmein and pizza, and my hobbies are going on the computer and talking on the phone and dancing. I hate mosquitoes, flies, lizards, anything that creeps me out and Kikyo” Kagome

 

“Kikyo, she's pretty fine to me” Inuyasha

 

“To you, to me she just one of those annoying things little things that doesn't deserve to be in this world” Kagome

 

“That not nice” Inuyasha smiled

 

“Try telling that to her” Kagome laughed

 

As they continued dancing a couple pushed Kagome into Inuyasha causing her to fall into his chest.

 

“….I'm….sorry” Kagome struggled to get back up as she looked up at him. Inuyasha looked into her chocolate brown eyes as she looked into his golden ones. Inuyasha face came closer and closer her face as their lips touched. Kagome was surprised at first but returned the kiss as they stood there, two of them, all night.
