InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ Your Tears Don't Fall, They Crash Around Me ❯ A New Beginning ( Chapter 1 )

[ P - Pre-Teen ]
I in no way, shape OR form own this series (InuYasha). I am just using it as a subject to make writing easier, and for my own entertainment.
Copyrighted to the Artist and Writers of Inuyasha. The only thing I claim is the fact I wrote this Fanfiction....As in, my own ideas and time went into this.

***I'd also like to note to people I am very rusty at writing, I haven't wrote a decent fanfiction (not like anyone has saw my decents) in over 2 years so please bear with me and leave reviews on what to fix, what was good. ***

Dark abyss, I feel cold and alone.

Where am I?

Why am I here?

Can I leave?

The room was covered by compelte darkness, the lone women looked around the room. Searching for the hope, she would never find. For she had landed herself in the Sacred Jewel Shard, a special jewel that had been handed down from Priestess to Priestess until the girls body had it forcefully ripped out of her body when entering the strange world. She didn't know why she had to endure this painful journay to try and eliminate this threat, but she had done it. She had lived through the fears of this world, always having her friends nearby to keep her happy and safe. Always one step away from death.

"Kagome" A raspy voice said, sounding far away. The woman looked in every direction, but all she could see was complete darkness. She wished her friends were here, that Inuyasha was here to save her from the creeping darkness filling her heart.

"Do you wish to leave this place, and live happily?" Slowly walking forward a person in white step forward. For a fleeting moment she had thought it was Inuyasha, but instinic quickly deminished that thought. Clearly, it was a woman, a woman she was all too familiar with.

"Kikyo" Kagome snarled, her lip curling is disgust. She hated her with every fiber in her bone. Regardless of all the good Kikyo had done, she felt betrayed by her. She had gone and tried to steal her mans heart.

Ignoring her completely Kikyo went on trying to convince her that what she truly wanted was to never return to her home. "Yes" Kagome muttered, she wanted to return home.
Without warning Kikyo transformed into the person she had never thought would come, the one person she held dearest to her heart.

"Inuyasha" came a whisper, so faint you could mistake it for the wind. With the slightest move of hand the silver haired demon unseathed his sword, slowly raising it above his head.
"Go home Kagome" he spat, hate filled his voice. With a quick slice he brought the sword down on her laughing the entire time. There was no for the poor girl to think, she falling to the floor in a bloody mess. Kagome stared at the large slash mark against her chest. Inuyasha glanced at the pitiful girl for a moment, then turned whiping the blood off, to seath the sword.

The young silver haired man began to walk away from the dying girl, leaving her alone in the bitter darkness to fight for her life. With one last look she watched the boy walked away, her eyes become hazy, and slowly decended.
"Kagome, where are you!?!?!?" Was the last thing she heard, before she was thrown into the dark abyss.

+~+ Four Years Earlier +~+

Sheets from the bed were thrown across the floor, pillows suffocated by a young girl. For a moment she laid in her bed unmoving, afraid of the danger, afraid from her horrid dream. It had seemed so realistic. Slowly she opened her eyes, lowering them to inspect her chest. There was no sign of bleeding so that had to be a good sign. With a large sigh she sat up completely in her bed. Relieved that the dream had ended, that horrible dream of her death and lone self in pitch black. The room she lived in was decorated blue with a white desk and bed, she felt no need to put a lot of trinkets so the walls were mostly bare.

Standing up Kagome began to search her dressers for a suitable outfit to wear, nothing really important was happening today. If at all today all Kagome wanted to do was sit at home, or outside in the yard and relax. Pulling on tight shorts and a navey blue tangtop she quickly pulled hair out of her face and neck into a neat pony tail.
Walking into the hall she looked into the open doors of her brother and mothers rooms, they all were empty which meant her family was either downstairs being really quiet... or they had gone out without her again.
Kagome tip toed down the stairs in vain hope that her family would surprise her and actually be home, but as usually they had ditched her for whatever. With her second deep sigh of the day, she walked out the back door and into the sunlight letting the back door slam as she walked towards the Sacred Tree.

Staring at the large tree, she couldn't help but touch it gently. Something drew her to the tree today and she didn't know why. The grounds Kagomes family lived on was very old. People often relied on her family for luck and for help. The tree had been known to cure all sorts of problems a ill person had.

A loud crash pulled her from her trance, turning around she began running for the old Bone Eaters well that had been passed from generation to generation in her family. Pulling open the wooden doors she looked around for the cause. Slowly she let her eyes fall to a large pale white thing laying on the floor, well it wasn't exactly laying as it was standing. "Give me the Sacred Jewel human" it hissed.
Kagome couldn't help but back up from this thing that had invaded her house.
"I d-don't know what you're talking about" The monster began to slither towards her, taking in her scent. "Girl do not lie you wreak of the Jewel now hand it over"
Without thinking Kagome took a step back and began to slip on the shrine stairs her grandfather had installed over the years. With no hesitation the monster came to her face, sniffed her, then grabbed her in an attempt to find this Jewel. But as soon as the monster had touched Kagome a bright blue light shone and it instantly repelled off of her and towards the well.
"I will not let you go girl" it screeched, as it pulled the young raven into the well with it.

"Let Me Go You Monster!!!" The scream piercing her lips, a blue light flooded the well, incinerating the monster. "hmph" Kagome felt a little shooken up from the encounter, but she knew a nice bowl of ramen would cure the shakes she had.

"Mama" she yelled, well climbing out of the well. When she had finally pulled herself out of the well, she was no longer in the little shrine.
