Chapter 47 Reunion with an old friend

Water country border (a few miles away from the mist village)

Anko was running trough the grassy road leading to the hidden mist village she wasn't really in a hurry but she wanted to get the there soon because Tsunade gave her four days and she was never the type to waste time. She was going to the mist village to meet an old friend of hers, in truth he was a dear friend of her even if she didn't admitted it, she was glad that she was seeing him again. As continues to run the grassy road was now covered in mist obviously she was near the mist village she then took out the letter that Naruto gave her she frown as she took a look at it.

Dear Ankochan:

I can't believe its been twelve years since we last seen each other its been that long and I have been thinking of you a lot lately and I thought that maybe we can meet and talk so we could catch on about what's been happening in the last twelve years. Meet me at our usual spot at the hidden mist village I have missed you a lot so please come and see me Ill be waiting for you.

Anko blush while reading the letter again (that idiot why did he have to write such a flirty letter people are gonna be thinking that we are actually a couple) she growl a little but a little voice in the back of her head actually like the idea, she shook the impure thoughts that started to invade her head and continue to run towards the mist village.

Hidden Mist Village (an hour later)

Seiryu was sitting in a large tree trunk on the ground on a tall hill in the mist village it was actually the only place in the whole village where the thick mist couldn't reach so it was quite visible from the rest of the village. He sighed he has been waiting for a quite a while for the arrival of the snake jounin, he was looking forward to meet her again since he hasn't since her in twelve years. He look at the village covered in the thick mist and smirk for himself it wasn't called the village hidden in the mist for nothing of course it was surrounded by mist, without nothing on his mind he sighed again he was now bore out of his mind so he just stood there until her long time friend arrived.

Seiryu eyes widened and looked to the large tree next to him he immediately sense somebody in the tree he couldn't help but smirk knowing exactly who was the person hiding in the tree.

“You can come out now Ankochan I won't bite” Seiryu said while chuckling

“Oh I know you won't but I brought my pepper spray just in case you try to bite me” Anko said while laughing as she jump from the tree and landed next to him

Seiryu laugh at her comment she was still the same joker he met years ago, he then gasp as he took a long look at her mainly at her choice of clothing.

“Ankochan what are you wearing?” Seiryu said shock

Anko blink in puzzle as she looked at her cloths” um…..cloths”

Seiryu sweat dropped” cloths you do realize you're wearing a fish net a trench coat and a mini skirt don't you?”

Anko frown” yeah so what of it?”

“I can see you're breasts” Seiryu said while trying not to have a nose bleed at the plain sight of her exposed chest trough her fish net

Anko grin” yeah wanna touch them they're real you know” she started touching them making them bounce a little

Seiryu blush like a tomato” ye………NO OF COURSE NOT IM A MAN WITH MORALS I WONT DO SUCH THING”

Anko snorted” fine its your loss” she then seated next to him in the tree trunk by now Seiryu has calm down from the fact that Anko has actually gave him permission to touch her chest

“You really have change Ankochan” Seiryu said as he looked at her

“Im just teasing you Seiryu Im still me” Anko said with a smile

“You could have fooled me” Seiryu said as he took a small bag, from the bag he took two sticks filled with dumplings and two drinks(AN can somebody tell me the name of the food and the drink that Anko eats because honestly I don't know)

Anko smirk” such a gentlemen you are” she took one of the sticks and began to eat the dumplings” so I took you're cheesy letter Im here so what do you call me out and you can forget about asking me out on a date because the answer is no”

“I missed you Ankochan I just wanted to see you and talk about what's been going on in your life that's all” Seiryu said

“You already said that in your letter and next time if you're going to write a letter to me make it less cheesy okay oh and give it to me in person” Anko whine

“Less cheesy Ankochan I meant what I said in the letter I missed you and I couldn't give it to you in person because I was busy the life of a demon hunter is more dangerous than a ninja's life I gave it to Naruto because he's from Konoha it save me the trouble from going to Konoha” Seiryu said

“And avoid seeing me right?” Anko said while glaring at him

“Ankochan that's not what I meant I already have places to go and I couldn't afford of going to Konoha because of my business schedule so please don't take it the other way around” Seiryu said while giving her a comfortable smile

Anko sighed” yeah I know you're always busy so what do you want to know about me Im already a jounin a damn good one if I do said so myself” she stop her talking when she saw that Seiryu was very close to her face namely how close her lips were to his

“Seiryu what are you….” She trailed off the words couldn't come out from her mouth she started blushing at the closed proximity she could see his handsome face even more and his eyes how she love his beautiful green eyes to her they were like emeralds that shines in the purity of night

Her breathing quicken her heart was now beating faster the blush was now covering her whole face she was so embarrassed she knew that Seiryu notice her blushing face, she was trying to calm herself and give the demon hunter a punch in the face for trying to perform such stunt on her.

Suddenly Seiryu took his hand and touch Anko's cheek making her blush even more his warm soft touch was so amazing that she felt like melting by his single touch. Seiryu's hand then move from her cheek to the back of her neck that's when her blush faded he was looking at the curse seal that Orochimaru gave her.

“You still have it” Seiryu said while staring at the curse seal mark

Anko nodded slowly” yeah the medic ninjas in the village including Hokagesama have been trying hard to figure out how to get rib of it but so far they haven't found anything I guess Im going to have it for quite a while”

“Damn I hate that bastard so much for doing this to you” Seiryu said as he tighten his fist in anger

“Not as much as I do he ruined my life my pride because of him the village have look at me in a different way they started to glare at me and hate me they started to whisper there goes that snake bastards whore of a apprentice she's nothing but garbage why is she even here she should be executed for being the traitors student” Anko said in a depressed tone

Seiryu put his hand on her shoulder” that's enough Ankochan don't think about the past it will make you feel worse”

Anko chuckle” really you were the one who wanted to talk about the past you know the good old days”

“Yeah that's right the good old days not the tormented hated days of you're bastard master” Seiryu said

Anko smile it was a pure smile that reflected joy” the moments I spend with you were truly the good old days I will forever treasured those memories you were my first true friend Seiryu I am very happy to have meet you”

Seiryu smile but he couldn't help but blush at her comment unfortunately Anko notice his blush and smirk” ah you're blushing already maybe I should flirt with you to make you feel better”

Seiryu blush again he turn his face the other way so Anko couldn't see his blushing face but she already has seen it she then smirk and embrace him from his back, Seiryu blush even deeper feeling her breasts been pressed on his back, right now Seiryu was erasing all the impure thoughts that were invading his mind.

“What are you thinking Seiryu oh I know bet you're regretting not touching my breasts when I gave you the permission don't you?” Anko said while smirking

Seiryu stop blushing and turn to face her” let me guess you're teasing aren't you?”

Anko smile” yup you bet just messing with you don't take me seriously”

Seiryu sighed” what happened to the funny Ankochan who used to make me laugh all those years ago?”

“She's still here this is my new way of being friendly with you that's all” Anko said while taking another bite of her dumplings

Seiryu smile” that's good because I don't want you to change Ankochan even after everything you went trough”

Anko sighed” don't feel sorry for me I had it coming” her voice was hard and depressed

“What are you talking about?” Seiryu said worry

“Seiryu I had it coming because I was his student I was so clueless back when I was a genin he had that crazy evil look in his face and I thought he was actually a nice person complete bullshit” Anko said getting agitated

Seiryu put his arms on her shoulders” that's enough Ankochan its not your fault stop punishing yourself and you don't deserve to be hated just because you were once his apprentice forget it about it just focus on the present and the future al right?”

Anko calm herself and smile” thanks Seiryu even after all these years you still find a way to make me feel better”

Seiryu smiled back” just like old times right?”

“Yeah you know I will never forget the first time we meet” Anko said

“How could I forget such a day I will never forget it either” Seiryu said

Both finish their dumplings and were looking at the mist covered village they both were thinking the same thing the day when they first meet.

(It was right here in the mist village where we first meet) Seiryu thought while looking at the village

(Flashback to the hidden mist village twelve years ago)

At the entrance to the hidden mist village two ninjas were staring at the village, one was a man who seems to be in his early forties with scary yellow eyes pale skin and long black hair he was wearing a Konoha jounin uniform and a leaf headband next to him was a little girl who seems to be around ten wearing a leaf headband a black shirt with fish net as sleeves a pair of black shorts a red headband tied around her waist and blue sandals she had her shuriken hostler on her right knee and her kunai hostler on her back.

“Sensei why are we here” the little girl said

“I already told you Anko we are here for an investigation but first we are going to visit someone” the jounin said

“Who Orochimaru sensei” Anko said

Orochimaru grin” you'll see”

Anko was more curious but she still follow her teacher entering the village, while they were walking Anko saw that the village was very pretty all of the buildings and houses were very elegant and they have an unique look she smile at the beauty of it was more beautiful than Konoha. She also saw different restaurants with delicious food she lick her lips imagining that she could taste the wonderful food, she took a quick glance at her teacher and he was only focus on the road ahead obviously he was focus at whatever place they were going.

(Orochimaru sensei is always all about business) Anko thought

They two ninjas finally reach a tall large building located at the end of the village they were two mist ninja guarding the entrance to the building.

“That must be the Mizukage's palace” Orochimaru said

Anko gasp in surprise” what sensei we are going to visit the Mizukage?”

“Not quite the person we are going to see should be here waiting for us” Orochimaru said

“YOU” one of the guards of the entrance shouted as he went in front the two leaf ninjas” what is you're business with the Mizukage?”

“We are from Konoha we are here to meet Kibagami Genjuro” Orochimaru said

The two guards look at each other before answering

“You have an appointment with master Genjuro?”

“Yes is he here?” Orochimaru said

“Sorry for making you wait”

Orochimaru and Anko look at the entrance to the palace and saw two strangers coming out of the palace one was a man who seems to be in his early twenties with long brown hair and blue eyes wearing a long white cape a blue vest long black pants and black sandals, the second person was a young boy who seems to be ten he had spiky black hair green eyes and he was wearing a green vest with black pants blue sandals and he had a short sword strap on his back.

“Master Genjuro I thought you were busy and you couldn't attend us” Orochimaru said

“Of course not I was just discussing something with the Mizukage that's all” Genjuro said

“This is my apprentice Anko she's a genin but she graduated early in the academy I have high hopes for her” Orochimaru said while Anko giggle at his comment

“And this is my apprentice Seiryu he is my future successor” Genjuro said while Seiryu nodded

“Well then should we get going then I do have other business at hand you know Konoha has been trough a lot lately” Orochimaru said

“Really?” Genjuro said raising an eyebrow” were you on another war”

“No not a war but the village was attack by the Kyubi” Orochimaru said

Genjuro and Seiryu gasp

“You can't mean Kyubi Kitsune the king of the tailed demons” Genjuro said shock

Orochimaru nodded” yes but we manage to survive thanks to the Fourth Hokage he put an end to the mighty beast but he wasn't so fortunate he died after it was defeated”

Genjuro stood quiet for a moment while Seiryu was still shock at the news Anko became sad all of the sudden.

(I don't think Minato would have been able to defeat the Kyubi he must have used that sealing jutsu and I think I know the person he used as host for the sealing Kyubi) Genjuro thought

“But lets not get depressed the Fourth died protecting the village its just what any Hokage would do” Orochimaru said

Genjuro nodded” yes of course well should we go to discuss the business?”

Orochimaru grin” yes you know its truly an honor to do business with you after all you were one of the seven swordsmen of the mist”

“Please Orochimaru don't talk about them in the village, the seven swordsmen of the mist became a corrupted organization when Zabuza left and became a rogue ninja especially with Kisame he was so reckless” Genjuro said

“If you said so” Orochimaru said

“Seiryu stay here well be back later” Genjuro said

“Anko you stay here too we won't be long” Orochimaru said

Anko nodded and the two ninjas left

“So what do you want to do now?” Seiryu said

“Well I am hungry how about we get some dumplings?” Anko said cheery

Seiryu smile” okay I just know a place where the dumplings are very good come on Ill take you there”

The two ninjas left to eat some dumplings

(End of flashback)

“I made a mistake that day” Seiryu said finishing his stick of dumplings

“A mistake what do you mean?” Anko said puzzle

“I didn't know that you had a big appetite that day and you ate over ten sticks you left me broke” Seiryu said while smirking

Anko smirk” its your fault for agreeing in taking me eating” she finish eating her third stick

“Easy Ankochan there are only two sticks left so don't expect me to buy you more” Seiryu said warning her

“Its al right Seiryu Im not that hungry” Anko said

“You could have fool me” Seiryu said with a smirk

Anko chuckle she took one of the two sticks” you know now that you mention that day after we ate we had a sparring match” she smirk at him

“Of course I remember when I beat you” Seiryu said with pride

Anko frown” excuse me you what looks like you don't remember well because I was the one who beat you”

Seiryu scratch the back of his head” now Ankochan that's not exactly how I remember it” he then saw the snake's jounin reaction she was glaring at him making him gulp” on the other hand I think you did beat me”

Anko grin” Im glad that you finally agree because if you didn't I was going to smack you in the face”

(Did she really beat me?) Seiryu thought remembering the day of the sparing match

(Flashback to the hidden mist village)

Anko and Seiryu went to the biggest open field in the mist village, but the sparing match was going to be a little complicated because of the mist that was surrounding them.

“Ankochan I hope you can fight with the mist blocking your view?” Seiryu said

“I ask the same question to you hope you can see me” Anko said as she took out a shuriken and a kunai from her respective hostlers

“Don't worry about me I can't see you but my sensei have taught me to fight in the mist so you will get a good fight” Seiryu said preparing to release his short sword

“Then bring it own Seiryukun” Anko said with a smirk

Seiryu couldn't help but blush at the way Anko have called him Seiryukun he let his guard down and he was distracted, that was the opportunity Anko needed out of nowhere a couple of snakes headed straight at the demon hunter apprentice but he reacted quickly and was able to dodge the snakes he landed a few feet from the field. Seiryu smirk she almost got him he then run forward arriving near a large lake this was the advantage he needed to beat the snake genin.

Seiryu keep his guard up he knew he couldn't see with all the thick mist blocking the view but he knew how to fight in such condition the key was to use hearing trying to hear the movements of the opponent and he was very good at it, because he heard Anko's footsteps heading his direction looks like it seems she has find out that he has moved from location. Seiryu continue to hear Anko's movements but suddenly more snakes headed his way but this time he didn't dodge them he used his short sword to slice them in half.

His ears perk up as he turn around and saw more snakes heading his way once again he used his sword to slice them he was now getting a little agitated as he continue to hear his opponents movements.

(How does she do it how does she know where I am, she must be hearing my movements too yeah that must be it) Seiryu thought

“I have you now”

Seiryu gasp when he heard that suddenly snakes came from the ground and they were all wrap all around his body making him unable to move, Anko appeared behind him putting a kunai on his neck she lick the kunai as she grab her defeated prey.

“Its over Seiryukun I win” Anko said in a cheery tone

What she didn't expected that Seiryu's whole body turn into a splash of water she gasp in shock

“That's a…..water clone jutsu” Anko said shock (he already knows that jutsu at his age)

“Im over here Ankochan” came Seiryu's voice

Anko looked and saw him standing in the water of the lake, she frown at him” what you think you can intimidate me I already know how to walk in the water”

She went to the lake and she was also standing in the water while Seiryu smile

“Oh now I know how you were able to know where I was you used the snakes to read my movements wow Im very impressed Ankochan” Seiryu said

Anko smirk” ha you'll be more impressed when I beat you” she took a kunai from her hostler (I hope this works?)

Seiryu grin” sorry Ankochan but that's not going to happen” he then made a hand seal but Anko threw him the kunai she had in her hands but he was able to caught it” sorry Ankochan time to lose” he made the hand seal again

NINJA ART HIDDEN MIST JUTSU

Anko gasp now there was twice the mist than before now she couldn't see a thing suddenly she heard Seiryu shouting another technique.

WATER STYLE WATER VORTEX JUTSU

Anko was hit by a powerful shot of water from the lake she fell to the ground, slowly the mist started to lift only the regular mist was still surrounding the field. Anko was soaked wet she was on the ground unconscious Seiryu came to her and took the kunai that she threw at him he slowly approach her.

“Game over Ankochan I win” Seiryu said

Anko smirk” no I win”

Seiryu gasp in shock as the kunai he was holding change shape and not it was a snake, the snake jump on him wrap itself around his neck making him unable to breath. Anko got up and looked at him with a victorious grin while he was at her mercy.

“Now its over Seiryukun give up or Ill make the snake tighten its hold over you until it chokes you to death its you're choice what's it going to be?” Anko said with a grin

“Okay…..Ankochan…..I give up” Seiryu said trying to break free from the snake

Anko smile and made the snake vanish she offered her hand to him he took it and he smiled at her.

“Wow Ankochan that was amazing how did you do that?” Seiryu said

“It was simple I used a snake and I use a transformation jutsu on it turning it into a kunai it fooled you didn't it?” Anko said

“Wow that was so smart Ankochan I fell for it completely I shouldn't have taken that kunai but I guess I wanted to used it against you they say to always use the weapon of you're enemy against him” Seiryu said

“Al right now since I won you have to do something for me” Anko said with an evil grin

“What is it?” Seiryu said

“Buy me more dumplings” Anko said

Seiryu gasp” WHAT but Ankochan you already ate ten sticks of dumplings and I don't have anymore money”

Anko snorted” fine then take to a tour around the village I want to see more”

Seiryu smile” oh I can do that”

“Then lets go” Anko said as she took his hand making him blush

The two young ninjas left the field while Seiryu was blushing because Anko was holding his hand what he didn't know is that Anko was blushing too.

(End of flashback)

“Oh yeah you did beat me that day” Seiryu said” it was a very good strategy”

“Of course what would you expect from me” Anko said

“You are amazing Ankochan” Seiryu said

Anko grin a little while blushing” thanks”

Suddenly an short silence fell on the two, Anko started taping her foot impatiently waiting for Seiryu to make another conversation she didn't wanted to make a conversation herself because she didn't know what to talk about but lucky for her Seiryu broke the silence.

“You know” Seiryu paused getting the attention of Anko” on that day when I first meet Orochimaru I didn't trusted him a bit somehow I could sense that he was evil and that's why I was so worry about you Ankochan”

Anko chuckle” really well you're not the first one to think like that a lot of people back at Konoha didn't trusted him even if he was one of the legendary sanins I was so foolish to think that he wasn't evil”

Seiryu sighed” now Ankochan lets not start again okay, its not your fault”

“I know but sometimes it makes me so angry” Anko growl tightening her fist” I wish I could killed him with my bare hands”

“A lot of people are thinking like you Ankochan but don't worried he will get what he deserve one way or the other” Seiryu said

“I want him dead now even after what he did recently” Anko said while growling

That comment got Seiryu's attention” what do you mean Ankochan?”

Anko looked at him surprised but she sighed” well I should probably tell you, Orochimaru attacked Konoha again”

Seiryu's eyes widened” WHAT why when?”

“A couple of days ago he wasn't in the village like he did in the chunin exams but he send an army of sound ninjas but they were completely different they weren't human” Anko said

“Not human were they demons?” Seiryu said a little shock

“I don't know about that Hokagesama made an autopsy on one of the bodies and she found that he didn't have any living organs inside of him talk about creepy” Anko said

“No organs as far as I know they aren't any demon types of that kind it could be a new species that Orochimaru have develop” Seiryu said

“That could be it he's always performing those freaky experiments on dead bodies” Anko said she looked at Seiryu and gasp he was angry

“Damn there was nothing I could do once again Orochimaru attack Konoha and I couldn't help its not fair” Seiryu said while tightening his left fist

“Don't blame yourself Seiryu you said it yourself you're always busy so you didn't have time to come to the village” Anko said

Seiryu sighed still feeling upset” I wont happen again next time you guys prepare to fight Orochimaru I will help”

Anko smile” I know you will so don't get upset okay?”

Seiryu smile he then notice something hanging around her neck and smile again” I see that you're still wearing the necklace I gave you?”

Anko looked to the small wooden doll necklace hanging from her neck she then touch it with her fingers” of course Im still wearing it, its precious you know”

Seiryu couldn't help but blush a little he didn't know that the necklace he gave to her meant so much.

“Yeah I love this good luck charm” Anko said with pride

Seiryu fell(anime style)” what are you talking about that is not a good luck charm its protection charm it will protect you from the evil spirits” he sweat dropped

Anko stuck her tongue at him” Im just kidding Seiryu I know it's a protection charm just messing with you” she smirk

Seiryu sighed” so you do remember when I gave it to you?”

Anko nodded” yeah it was on that day”

(Flashback to the hidden mist village)

Seiryu and Anko were sitting on a tree trunk on a large hill in the village they just finished their tour around the mist village and Anko couldn't be any happier she watched the village from the hill with a smile on her face.

“Amazing I never knew the mist village was very beautiful, but I still think that Konoha is prettier” Anko said

“Really Ankochan you were so excited when I show you around the village” Seiryu said

“That's because I love visiting new places, thanks Seiryu I really had a great time” Anko said while smiling she then blush realizing at the what she just like she was on a date with him

Seiryu blush too he scratch the back of his head but he manage to smile” no problem Ankochan Im just glad I showed you around”

“You know what Seiryu? Our sensei's haven't come back yet I wonder what's talking them so long?”

Seiryu gave a thoughtful looked” they must be talking or whatever business they had I don't know sensei hasn't told me anything”

Anko sighed but she smile” its okay if they take too long Im not bored with you here with me” she then blush again realizing she was saying something a girlfriend would say to a boyfriend

Seiryu smile at her comment but he couldn't help but feel a little embarrassed, all of the sudden he's face became serious Anko notice his looked and grew a little worry.

“What's wrong Seiryu?”

“Ankochan please be careful around you're sensei” Seiryu said worry

Anko blink” Orochimaru sensei what do you mean?”

“I…..I…….I don't trust him one bit he has an evil aura so please be careful when you're around him” Seiryu said

Anko grin” its al right Seiryukun a lot of people don't trust him but I do, the village thinks he's a little creepy and all but its okay”

Seiryu shook his head he still didn't trust the jounin he then took something from his pocket it was a small wooden doll necklace he offered it to Anko.

“Here Ankochan take this I know it doesn't look like much but its powerful it's a sacred charm it will protect you from the evil spirits” Seiryu said as he gave her the necklace

Anko took the necklace with her hands she look at it and she couldn't help but blush slightly she put it around her neck and smile” thanks…..Seiryu it looks cute I will humbly accept it”

Seiryu nodded while smiling” take good care of it Ankochan”

Anko nodded while looking at the necklace

“There you are you two”

The two students saw Genjuro and Orochimaru heading their way

“Sensei you're back” Seiryu said

“Anko lets go our business is done here” Orochimaru said

“Oh were leaving” Anko said sounding a little disappointed” okay…..I guess”

“Do not worry you are welcome to come to the mist village any time you like” Genjuro said

“I guess this is goodbye Ankochan?” Seiryu said looking disappointed

Anko grin” don't get down Seiryu Ill come back some day and if you like you can come to Konoha”

Seiryu nodded” yeah I will go to Konoha to see you”

“Lets go Anko, thank you master Genjuro for agreeing and helping me I really appreciate it” Orochimaru said

The two ninjas left the hill leaving the two demon hunters behind

“Sensei did you find what you were looking for?” Anko said looking cheery

Orochimaru gave a weird chuckle” oh yes Anko I did I have exactly what I wanted” he gave a wicked grin

Ano being completely clueless of his evil smile she just smile back knowing how stranger her sensei was.

Back with Genjuro and Seiryu for some reason they were uncomfortable.

“Sensei what kind of business did you make with Orochimaru?” Seiryu said

Genjuro stood quiet for a few seconds before speaking” I will tell you later Seiryu”

“I don't trust Orochimaru sensei”

“Neither do I” Genjuro said” that man is evil those eyes of his….those are the eyes of a heartless man who hungers only power”

Seiryu gasp but he try to remain calm” Im worry about Ankochan I don't want anything bad to happen to her”

Genjuro looked at his apprentice and smile (he's young and he has manage to have feelings for a girl they say true love is eternal I wonder?)

The two continue to watch at the dirention where Orochimaru and Anko took, for Seiryu he was only concern with one person and it was the young snake genin who became a close friend of his.

(End of flashback)

“I never trusted him and neither did sensei” Seiryu said

“Yeah nobody trusted him except for me that is, the stupid one” Anko said

“Ankochan I told you to stop feeling guilty its not you're fault he was an evil bastard” Seiryu said

“Maybe but even if he was evil he abandoned me because I wasn't strong enough to endure the power of the curse seal it angers me I trusted him of all the people it was me who fully trusted him and he betray me he threw me out like I was trash” Anko said upset

“Ankochan don't feel hurt for him he's not even worthy just be upset because he's treacherous bastard” Seiryu said

“Yeah a traitor al right he left the village three months after we came to the mist village” Anko said

“Now that I think about it I came to Konoha three months after you came to the mist village” Seiryu said

“Yeah I was glad that you came I was really depressed” Anko said remembering that day

(Flashback to Konoha three months later)

Anko was sitting in the class room of the ninja academy for some reason she wanted to keep her distance from the rest of the village. She try to hold her tears but she failed miserably they fell and landed on the desk as she begins to cry she felt immense pain and loneliness. She then reach and touch the left back side of her neck she felt scare and uncertain, she didn't realize that Seiryu has enter the empty classroom to he felt terrible when he saw her in such shape. He slowly approach her she still hasn't notice him he touch her shoulder only to startle her, Seiryu try to apologize but he didn't saw what was coming instead of getting by Anko for startling her she embrace him and continue to cry in his arms.

Seiryu return then embrace trying to make her feel better for whatever reason she was so sad, Anko pulled him even closer she now bury her head in his chest making the young apprentice blush hard but her still accepted her embrace. He gently started to caress her short raven hair in effort to calm her but it seems he was failing as Anko continues to sob he thought that hours have passed because of the long embrace but in truth only a couple of minutes have passed. Finally Anko stop sobbing she slowly broke the embrace and looked at his emerald eyes that were filled with concern.

“I'm sorry Seiryukun” Anko said while drying her tears

“Its al right Ankochan what happened why are you so sad?” Seiryu said worry

Anko try not to cry again” its Orochimaru sensei he…..he left me he told me that I wasn't worthy to suppress the power, that I was worthless he also left the village”

Seiryu growl” that's not true Ankochan you're not worthless so what if we he abandoned you you're still a strong ninja you don't need him”

“You were right Seiryukun just like everyone Orochimaru sensei was evil he never cared about me at all and now the village hates me they glare at me and they keep murmuring that I should be executed, that's why I came here there's no one here at this hour when the students arrived here I will hide” Anko said while sobbing a little

“Ankochan they have no right to hate you for anything its not you're fault that Orochimaru is evil and they can't execute you because of that Konoha would never stood so low” Seiryu said

Anko dry her tears” I know Hokagesama will never agree to such a thing at least he understands me because Orochimaru sensei is used to be Hokagesama's favorite student and now he feels hurt betray just like me”

Seiryu didn't know what else to say instead he gave her a conforming embrace which it surprise Anko a little but she still accepted his embrace.

“Im sorry Ankochan” Seiryu said while embracing her

“Thanks Seiryukun Im feeling a little better now” Anko said while blushing slightly

Seiryu smile he then gasp when he saw a strange mark on the back side of her neck it was three swirl black spots he didn't know what they meant but he became worry for his friend.

“Ankochan what is that mark on you're neck?” Seiryu said worry

Anko gasp she became nervous she kept her distance from Seiryu making him more worry.

“Ankochan what is that mark does it have to do something with Orochimaru?” Seiryu said

“It's a great burden”

Seiryu looked at the entrance to the classroom and saw his sensei Genjuro along with a man wearing a red and white uniform that have the word Hokage on the hat it was the Third Hokage Sarutobi.

“My child that mark on Anko's neck its dangerous it something that should have never been brought upon her” Sarutobi said

“What do you mean by dangerous?” Seiryu said

Sarutobi smile” don't worry Seiryu we manage to seal the mark meaning its not dangerous anymore Anko will be fine now”

Seiryu nodded and smile at the old Hokage” thank you Hokagesama”

“Anko Sarutobi told me everything that happen with Orochimaru Im sorry you have become a victim of his cruelty and his ambition of power” Genjuro said

Anko stood quiet she nodded to the demon hunter she looked back at Seiryu” don't worry about me I promise I will continue to train and become stronger”

Seiryu smile” great that's more like it Ankochan train hard”

Anko nodded

“Well Seiryu we should go now we have other places to go” Genjuro said

“You're leaving already Seiryukun?” Anko said disappointed

“Don't worry Ankochan Ill be back to visit you” Seiryu said

“Don't worry I will remember you because of this” Anko said as she showed him the wooden doll necklace” this is my most precious treasure”

Seiryu smile” take good care of it Ankochan”

“Until we meet again” Genjuro said

The two finally left the classroom while Sarutobi look at Anko

“You know Anko true happiness comes once and it can't be replace and it seems you have found that special someone?” Sarutobi said

Anko gave a confused look at the elderly Hokage” what are you talking about Hokagesama?”

“I said you have found love in young Seiryu” Sarutobi said

Anko's face turn red” WHAT HOKAGESAMA ARE YOU CRAZY I DON'T LIKE HIM IN THAT WAY”

Sarutobi laugh” you will understand when you're older”

“I don't like him Hokagesama in that way” Anko muttered

“Well Anko you must be hungry how about I buy you some dumplings?” Sarutobi said

Anko smile” yeah thanks Hokagesama”

The two left the classroom heading into the village streets Anko was so happy that she had somehow that care about her and help her in the bad times she only had one thought as she walk the streets with the old Hokage.

(Seiryukun we will meet again)

(End of flashback)

“You know Seiryu?” Anko said getting the attention of the demon hunter” my life completely change the day Orochimaru left me and not just that ever since he gave me the curse seal the village lost their respect towards me, once they were all proud of me there goes Mitarashi Anko the apprentice of Orochimaru one of the legendary sanins but now there goes the traitors apprentice why is she even alive instead of being executed and it hurts their hatred towards me I have no choice but to ignore them and continue my training on my own of course the Third help me once in a while I was so depressed back then……” tears were forming in her grey eyes” damn it why I am crying there's no need for me to cry”

Seiryu put his hands on her shoulders” its al right Ankochan go ahead and cry let it all out”

The tears started falling from her eyes she gave him a faint smile, she couldn't take it anymore she threw herself into his arms and started sobbing he embrace her just like in the academy in the past. Like she did in the past she bury her head in his chest crying she felt Seiryu embrace her putting his arms around her back, she felt like it was helping she didn't know why but when Seiryu embrace her it has like some powerful magic that makes her feel better and she like it. There was something else she actually like having the demon hunter in her arms, she didn't realize that her heart was beating faster she felt warm and safe like there was nothing to worry about she began to blush while Seiryu was holding her.

For Seiryu he wanted to hold her forever he didn't care if it began to rain or if snow started falling embracing the snake jounin and making her feel better was his only concern. He caressed her black hair and slowly he reach to her ear making her feel even safer.

“Don't worry Ankochan its okay Im here for you know”

Anko smile while snuggling into his chest she sadly broke the hug and she looked into his green eyes for a second she thought that he was disappointed for breaking the embrace.

“Thank you Seiryu Im feeling better now” Anko said while blushing a little

“No problem Ankochan I'm always glad to help you” Seiryu said with a smile

Anko grin” you know you have it wrong it hasn't been twelve years that we haven't seen each other its fifteen”

Seiryu blink” what fifteen years that can't be Ankochan?”

“Its true we were ten when we first meet and now were both twenty five so it has been fifteen years since we last seen each other” Anko said

Seiryu was shock” you're right it has been fifteen years I can't believe it”

Anko smirk” looks like you're still bad with numbers”

Seiryu frown” I was never good at math”

Anko chuckle as she look at the village ahead” so Seiryu how's your sensei?”

Seiryu smile” sensei is doing fine you know he as busy as me Im lucky that he gave me the day off today I think he's in the village?”

“Really?” Anko said as she got up from the tree trunk” then lets go to the village there's something I want to ask him”

Seiryu was confuse by her statement he didn't know what Anko wanted to ask him about but he still nodded in agreement, the two left the spot and went to the village. While walking in the streets Anko couldn't help but smile at the sight of the village after fifteen years it was still the same beautiful village that she have visited in the past she also took notice of a certain eating place the same place where Seiryu took her to eat dango(AN thank you Sukrai for telling me about the food). After walking for a few minutes the two saw a familiar person walking towards them Seiryu recognize the person as his sensei Genjuro wearing his usual outfit but Anko was shock at the sight of him because there was something very wrong with the demon hunter in appearance.

(What's going on its been fifteen years and he hasn't age a bit he looks the same when I first meet him) Anko thought shock

“There you are sensei we were looking for you, you remember Ankochan right?” Seiryu said

Genjuro looked at the snake jounin” of course Orochimaru's student welcome back (she has change) he thought while noticing her choice of clothing

Anko was still shock but she still remain calm” Genjurosama there's something I want to ask you?”

“What is it?” Genjuro said

“I need to know what was the reason that Orochimaru came to you when I came here fifteen years ago?” Anko said

Seiryu eyes widened slightly he wasn't expecting her to ask about that while Genjuro was calm and quiet, he sighed seeing the look in her eyes she was serious and she wanted to know the truth.

“Very well Anko I will tell you” Genjuro said

(Flashback to the hidden mist village)

Genjuro has lead Orochimaru to a large building when they enter the room was full of coffins, the coffins were open Orochimaru went to one of them.

“Interesting” Orochimaru said gazing at the body of a demon

“These are demons that I killed they are different types of demons some of them evaporate or turn to dust however these demons don't and that's why we bury them of course they have to be de exorcise before burying” Genjuro said

“I see, then I will begin my research it will take a while but it will be worth it” Orochimaru said with a grin

Genjuro kept looking at the jounin with distrust and discomfort while Orochimaru took out his tools in examining the bodies.

“Orochimaru is this why Konoha send you here?” Genjuro said in a hostile tone

“Why yes it was a direct order from the Third Hokage” Orochimaru said

“I see” Genjuro said (Sarutobi will never allowed something like this)

“I need to extract the bones of the bodies these demons look strong” Orochimaru said while preparing a test tube

“They were, they are high class demons there are lot of demons in the world but the strongest are always bound to appear that's why I always have to be prepare and some day Seiryu will inherited my position” Genjuro said

“Then he will become a great hunter if you're his teacher” Orochimaru said as she continue to examine the body

For the past two hours Genjuro was keeping an eye on Orochimaru he was collecting pieces of the bones from the dead demons he carefully place the bones in his test tubes. After he was done Orochimaru and Genjuro left the building they were going to reunite with their students, however Genjuro still distrust the snake jounin.

“Orochimaru what are you going to do with those collected bone fragments?” Genjuro said while keeping an eye on him

“Oh its all part of my research provided by the Third why do you ask is there a problem?” Orochimaru said keeping an eye on the demon hunter

“No its nothing I was just curious I apologize” Genjuro said

Orochimaru chuckle he continue to walk follow by Genjuro

(End of flashback)

“Demon bodies?” Anko said she growl” more of his crazy experiments”

Genjuro nodded” yes I knew he was going to use those bone fragments for his evil work I regret not killing him when I had the chance however since there wasn't any proof of his work I couldn't afford another war to occurred because of his death”

“That's why Hokagesama and the ambu were investigating him until they found him in the middle of his experiments but Hokagesama let him go because of his fondness for him he made such a mistake because Orochimaru murder him in the chunin exams” Anko said

Genjuro shook his head” killed by his own student how ironic it was unfortunate that tragedy occurred Sarutobi was a great Hokage just like the Minato”

Anko blink” oh you knew the Fourth too?”

“Why yes we became friends for some time he was a great joker he used to tell me about his teacher always peeping in the woman's bath” Genjuro said while chuckling a little

Anko smirk” yeah it's a good thing he didn't took after Jiraiyasama” she began to blush and she sighed dreamily” the Fourth was so handsome” she took a quick glance at Seiryu who was looking quite jealous her smirk turn even wider” oh come on Seiryu don't get jealous”

Seiryu growl a little” I am not jealous”

Anko shook her head” whatever you say Seiryu, you know I used to have a crush on the Fourth when I was little he was such an incredible man”

Seiryu growl with jealousy” whatever” he turn the other way while Anko smirk

Genjuro couldn't help but smile” well I better get going Im leaving the village I have a couple missions to do Seiryu keep watch on the village while Im gone”

“Sure thing sensei I won't let you down” Seiryu said

Genjuro nodded and left Seiryu didn't notice Anko was next to him

“You were jealous weren't you?” Anko said with a smirk

“No” Seiryu lied

Anko chuckle” whatever so how about if you treat me to some sake?”

“You want to get drunk?” Seiryu said raising an eyebrow

“Nah I just want to have a few drinks that's all” Anko said

Seiryu smile” I guess it wont hurt”

“Exactly lets go” Anko said as she took Seiryu's hand and they left

Seiryu blush he remember when Anko took his hand in the past he felt her warmth and couldn't help but blush deeper, Anko was blushing too but she decided to shrug it off and concentrate on the road ahead. They arrived at a bar they got seated and order a bottle of sake, it only took a couple of minutes when the sake arrived the tow started drinking a couple of glasses but Anko took more than Seiryu expected. After an hour Anko has drink four sake bottles of course Seiryu took a couple of drinks but he wasn't as drunk as the snake jounin, he could see that she was very drunk. Anko started laughing like a maniac while Seiryu had no choice since he was a little under the effect of alcohol he started laughing too the people of the bar were staring at the two and they obviously thought they were a bunch of crazy drunks.

“Hey Seiryu?” Anko said

“What is it?”

“After all this time I finally come to a conclusion, I think Orochimaru is gay I mean he has the look of a perverted homosexual”

Seiryu laugh” you think? Yeah I agree maybe he takes little kids and make them do kinky stuff to him”

“I feel sorry for the kids” Anko said while taking another sip of sake she hiccupped

“I like boys they taste nice” Seiryu said imitating Orochimaru's voice

Anko laugh hard she had tears in her eyes she even choke on her sake” Seiryu you're hilarious I really missed you”

“Thank you Ill be available al night long” Seiryu said like he was a famous celebrity

Anko reach for the sake bottle and notice it was empty she growl” HEY BRING ANOTHER BOTTLE OF SAKE RIGHT NOW”

“Oh no you don't Ankochan that's enough you're already too drunk to drink”

“Hey Ill tell you when I had enough AH” Anko gasp as Seiryu took her and carried her on his shoulder he left the money on the table and left the bar with an upset Anko struggling to break free from him

Once Anko understood that she couldn't break free she sighed in defeat and let the demon hunter took her to wherever place he was taking her, for a moment she began to think some impure thoughts between her and Seiryu and she blush crimson she smirk to herself thinking it was nice. She was too drunk to notice that Seiryu arrive at a inn he pay for a room and left the reception, he open the door to the room and put Anko on the bed he was quite surprised to see the snake jounin not whining because he didn't let her drink another bottle of sake. He was seeing Mitarashi Anko looking at him with a very unique seductive look right now he has forgotten that she was drunk and blush he didn't know what to do, but impure thoughts race trough his head and he erase them immediately while making sure he didn't had a nose bleed.

“Go ahead Seiryu do it” Anko said

“Do what?”

“You know why else would you bring me to an inn Im ready” Anko said while licking her lips

At that moment Seiryu has finally understood Anko's message and he blush like a tomato he immediately shook his head erasing anything that came to his mind.

“What you're thinking its not going to happen I just rent a room for you to spend the night because you're not going to return to Konoha all drunk so enjoy you're stay Ankochan” Seiryu said as he was about to leave

“No Seiryu don't go please stay here with me” Anko pleaded

“Ankochan I can't stay with you I have to go to my place”

“Stay with me its just I really have enjoy this day with you, you don't know how much this means to me Seiryu you're precious to me I am so glad and I want you here with me……because I……I lo……….” Anko trailed off because she fell on the bed and started snoring

Seiryu sweat dropped seeing that Anko has fallen asleep he reach for the door and before he closed it he took one last look at the sleeping snake jounin.

“Goodnight Ankochan” Seiryu said while closing the door

The next day

Anko was standing at the entrance to the mist village she was not happy because she was having a big hangover; she drank too much sake last night she really hated it hangovers. Seiryu then came with a couple of aspirins and a small glass of water he knew she was going to be having a very painful hangover and knowing her she will become very cranky so it was best to help her get over the pain.

“Here Ankochan these aspirins will help kill that hangover you had” Seiryu said giving her the tablets

Anko took them while she was rubbing her head” thanks Seiryu damn I like sake but I hate hangovers they hurt like hell”

“Ankochan are you sure you're leaving now if you're still think you can go be my guess and stay I don't have any missions so far” Seiryu said hoping that she would stay another day

“No its al right I had to get back to the village(even if I still had two more days to stay) there is one thing I forgot to ask you last night because I was too drunk to ask you” Anko said

“What is it?”

“Its about Genjurosama its been fifteen years since I last saw him and he hasn't change a bit why is that?”

Seiryu blink and smile” I knew you were going to ask me about that sensei can't grow old you see it his bloodline”

Anko was surprised” bloodline you mean a Gekke Genkai?”

“You bet his blood line makes him unable to age a day”

“Wait are you saying he's immortal?”

“No he's not immortal I mean if you stab him in the heart he will die of course he can't get sick and he can't grow old”

“So he's like half immortal?”

“Yeah I guess you could called it like that”

“Wow I never knew Genjurosama really has an amazing blood line”

“Sensei wasn't called the slaughter of the hidden mist for nothing”

Anko smirk” too bad you don't have a blood line either”

“No I don't have one, but I have something worst” Seiryu whisper the last part but Anko heard him

“What? What do you mean Seiryu?” Anko said sounding a little worry

Seiryu shook his head” its nothing forget about it so you're leaving then Ankochan Im really going to miss you I hope I see you again and this time maybe it wont be for another fifteen years”

“Same here I will miss you Seiryu thanks for sending the letter Im glad we were able to talk and talk about the good old days” Anko said

“Oh so now you like my letter I thought you said it was a cheesy letter” Seiryu said with a smirk

Anko smirk back” it is a cheesy letter but I guess it will have to do well I better go” she look to the horizon but not before looking back at Seiryu and she lean closer to him she did something she never thought she had the courage to do she gave him a soft kiss on his cheek it was very close to his lips making the demon hunter blush

“Farewell Seiryukun” Anko said with a smile she began to walk from the village leaving a shock Seiryu behind

While Anko was walking she thought about what Seiryu told her (I wonder what did he meant when he said he had something worst than a blood line?)

Back at the entrance to the mist village Seiryu was still standing he was still shock at what the snake jounin just did he touch his cheek where Anko has kissed him he smile (Im glad that the old Ankochan is back, I can't tell you yet Ankochan Im not ready to tell you the horrible burden I carry the burden of being a jinchurikki)

Well looks like Anko has a crush on Seiryu maybe something more I guess well have to wait and see if its true, now as for my second OC Kibagami Genjuro will be appearing in future chapters one more thing the character is original but not his name because Kibagami Genjuro is the name of one of the characters from the video game Samurai Showdown if any of you has played it. Now Im already working on chapter 10 from taming two hearts because they are a lot of people who wants me to update the story and I will obey see you guys later remember to send me you're comments and reviews farewell.
