"Shadow, you ready, " Sonic said preparing to attack eggmans base. Shadow let out a grunt, "The real question is are you?" Earlier that day eggman had stolen the master emerald while Knuckles was on his honeymoon with rouge. They had been waiting at tails house because he said he had something that would be very usefull. After 5 minutes of waiting Tails came with a chaos emerald "cool," sonic said. "Wait we need a plan," Said Tails sonic shrugged and said," Just wing it." He proceded to grab a chaos emerald and dash to eggmans base.



**10 minutes later**



Eggmans base was a mess, Tails was shooting in the X-Tornado, Shadow destroing everything in site and sonic was almost here. Eggman new what he had to do. He then attempted to destroy the master emerald but sonic in the nick of time said two words "chaos control!" There was a blinding light. And Sonic was gone.
